I was having trouble starting my car and I thought it was the alternator... turns out it was the starter. They took great care of me and were very honest with the price. They showed me how they were able to figure the problem out and got it done in a couple hours.

Filthy shop and charges you for services you did not ask/give permission for. They have pigeons living in the ceiling. They will make your car absolutely filthy, trampling on the seats and leaving dirt behind on everything they touch. They will overcharge you. Go literally anywhere else

He intentionally over-tightened my lug nuts when putting my wheels back on after I said I'd rather do my own brakes. It was impossible to remove the wheels myself without professional tools after he put them back on. I had another mechanic confirm that making them that tight would not have been an accident

I highly recommend Lone Star Auto Repair. I work 2 jobs so it's hard to find an auto shop that opens late or on weekends. Thankfully I came here and the mechanic Luis was very professional, kind and efficient. He had showed excellent communication skills and expertise in his work throughout the whole process!

This business is always busy, but at the expense of neighborhood safety and the environment. They conduct their business while parking all over the sidewalk and in the middle of the street, blocking traffic, cyclists, and pedestrians. They chat with clients and work on vehicles while spilling who knows what kind of fluids into the gutter which flows into the Bay. They have told me that they are allowed to do this for some reason, and I have repeatedly reported them to parking enforcement which doesn't stop their behavior. I suppose they just pay the fines and proceed as usual. Please do not support this dirty business.

You only need to look at their garage to know that your car will not be fixed right. Oil is spilled everywhere, broken cars litter the street and sidewalk and employee's are standing around chatting. I took a chance with them for a rush job and it cost me $2k on my car that's not worth much more than that.
