I got another great experience here. So what happend was I dropped off my new to me old 1997 dodge ram 2500 for an front end collusion then they worked and talked with USAA and got all 3900 done and to claim it insurance. I love how you worked on my car and for changing the tires on the jeep. I just came back on my 2004 Toyota 4runner that got at off of eBay. something about the timing belt was off and the rear diff was not working quite right. And the owner was amazing he was nice and fast my car was in and out in 1 day. When other automotive business said it was 2 1/2 day job. Keep up the amazing work Rylan!!!

As a female, I don't know much about cars, and when my 2005 Honda Accord had its check engine light come on, I was clueless for what to do. I went to my friend at church who works at Lighthouse Automotive and he said he'd take a look at it. When I brought it to them at their shop, it turns out all it needed was to have the oil changed, which they took care of in no time! It hasn't leaked since and I would HIGHLY recommend them for other work! They were so helpful and respectful, I truly appreciate the work they did!

Dropped my truck off for pickup tube o-ring replacement. I was going to let them furnish the parts, but after 4 days and nothing done I went ahead and bought quality parts and dropped them off. What I was told would be a 2 day repair, took a week. The excuse was that they had their tech trying to work on 3 different cars at the same time. At this point my instinct told me I had picked the wrong place to work on my vehicle, but I didn't follow my gut and just go pick it up. They called me Thursday afternoon near closing time and told me it was ready. I paid them but had to pick it up a little after hours. At that point I got in and started it. ZERO OIL PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT AND ALARM IMMEDIATELY SCREAMING AT ME. This is the exact problem I dropped it off for. I hit the throttle and the pressure came up so I drove home as I did not want to leave in the crime laden area where the shop is located. When I got it home. I turned it off and restarted it 10 times, each time zero pressure, hit the gas, pressure goes up. They replaced what I asked them to replace, that is not the issue. The issue is that there is absolutely no way they couldn't have known it had zero oil pressure at start up, yet told me the truck was ready. If they had been honest, we could have discussed other diagnostic measures. But they didn't tell me the truck wasn't fixed. They told me it was ready. I am out over $600 in labor, the truck isn't fixed, and they didn't have the honesty or common courtesy to tell me. I wish I had listened to my gut and just picked the truck up and took it somewhere else. Lesson learned. I would never, ever do business here again, even if they were the only shop on the planet and it meant scrapping the vehicle. They were all strapped when I picked it up. I can't help but wonder if that was in anticipation of me finding out my truck wasn't actually fixed after paying the bill. Thanks for nothing. After reading the reply from the owner, I will add. The issue here is not whether the parts I asked to be replaced have been replaced. This issue is they told me it was ready knowing my truck read zero psi oil pressure on the gauge, I paid them not knowing this, and had to pick it up after hours, in the dark, in 20 degree weather, and upon first startup the gauge read zero. Regardless of what this clown says, an honest, reputable shop would not have done any customer this way. This is just a shitty, misleading practice period. All they had to do was be honest and tell me it didn't have oil pressure. They did not have the morals or integrity to even do that. In fact, the owner basically said it wasn't his responsibility to check to see if the truck had oil pressure. How does that grab you?! I also told Carrie to call if anything else came up. I would qualify zero oil pressure "anything else". Oh yeah, I'm getting some visual improvements made to my truck also. See the included proof. Do what you wish and take your car here if you want. I'll try to find someone who values their customers, and holds honesty and integrity at a higher regard. I think you'll get a clue as to what to expect from them by simply reading their reply to this review.

I made an appointment due to a check engine light. They kept me informed through every step from diagnosis, to parts being ordered and what needed to be repaired or replaced. Better yet, they didn’t try to upsell me on any product or service. I felt very well taken care of and will be coming here again for future repairs and other regular maintenance needs.

My engine wasn't shifting properly and they took time to explain that it was my transmission and told me the difference and explained why it wasn't shifting it was needing a transmission flush. Thank you light house automotive for being honest. Will come again

I was in desperate need of a new alternator and battery, as mine was totally shot. As my work schedule is quite squirrely, I was really worried about getting things taken care of quickly. Lighthouse Automotive took really good care of me. The price was fair and they went above and beyond to work with me and my crazy schedule. They were courteous, quick and even replaced a cracked belt, that I didn't know needed replacing. I would highly recommend!

I’ve been coming to Lighthouse for years now. These guys are amazing and always take such good care of me and my car. They understand the financial strain that some repairs can take and try their best to come to a price that you can afford. Lighthouse employees also took the time to explain different things that were wrong with my car in a patient and understandable way. I appreciate them so much.

Picked up a screw in a tire during the workday and needed quick service. Saw Lighthouse was nearby so headed over, thinking I'd be waiting a while. Instead, I was greeted with a smile and a handshake, and less than 45 minutes later I was on my way. Excellent service, very fair price, and the extra touch of simply being nice warrants a full 5 stars.

Paid to fix a flat on my tire. The tire started leaking instantly the same day after paying to get it fixed, and now, almost a week later, the leak is a lot worse, and I was late to an appointment because I had a flat tire.

The owner was personally involved in recommending a particular set of tires and called me after the service to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Outstanding service! I used Lighthouse Automotive for the first time today. I needed an urgent repair and no one else in the Springs could schedule me sooner than a week. Raylin and his team were very helpful, getting me in the next day and resolving the problem in less than 3 hours at a reasonable cost. Clutch went out on my 2005 Honda element. As a former technician I knew it was a big job because the subframe had to be removed. I just wasn't in a place to be able to complete the repair myself. Rylan and his crew took great care of me and were upfront and honest about price and had the job done in 2 days! Of course it wasn't cheap but the quality of work was solid and they have a 3 year 36k mile warranty. Highly recommend!

I am the maintenance manager of a healthcare facility and the axle carrier split open on one of our handicap transportation vans. I ask around to a few people who they would recommend I take out work vans to. They all said Lighthouse, and let me tell you what, they did an amazing job for us. (Advanced Healthcare of Colorado Springs) They were up front about time and cost and have a great team of talented mechanics that were able to beef up the axle carrier with some superb metal work and welding and still had it to us two days after we dropped it off. Needless to say with our issues with Auto Nation buying out the Dodge dealer on Woodman, I am very happy that we found a new shop that can take care of our needs. Thank you to your team for excellent work and communication.

I will never use this shop! I called and explained the problem with my transmission, that the shift was hard, they said to bring it in, as we were dropping the car off, I went in to the office where I met the owner and was told that they don't work on transmissions, I spent $200 for a tow for nothing when they could have said something on the phone.

My 2002 Mazda had a problem with the air bag light blinking constantly. I had taken her to two shops before I took to Lighthouse. Neither of the two shops could get a diagnostic read and the second shop was an overall bad experience with a rude and childish service guy. I was going to just leave it as is but felt unsafe driving. I found Lighthouse Automotive on Google and called to ask if they might be able to help. I spoke with Kevin who was very nice over the phone and he took some time to try and understand what might be going on and he also had an idea about what the code meant that the light was flashing. When I brought my car in I was greeted by Rylan who was very polite and engaging. Their machine was unable to get a reading as well, but Kevin decided to check some wiring under the seat and he found some issue with that so he worked on the wiring and drove around for several miles to make sure that was the fix. So far, so good...no more blinking light and I feel safer driving now. I am very happy with these guys and I will be bringing my business to them in the future. I've owned my car since she was brand new and hope to keep her going another 115k miles. Thanks guys, and to everyone reading, I highly recommend Lighthouse Automotive.

My Grandma brought her Toyota to this shop. They charged her over $4000 dollars for things she didn't need, and then charged her another $4000 to "fix" the problem. After taking it back several times the problem kept happening. Then after taking back yet again they charged her for a "new" computer that is now causing the transmission to slip because it is not programmed correctly. He was told to put a new ECU, put a used one in and charged her for a new one! Charging old lady's thousands and not fixing the problem. Worst shop in town. Please don't take your car there.

It took some time to resolve them but I would rather thorough service than not so it was worth the wait. They offer reliable service with a great service oriented attitude. When i went here with my mom the customer service was amazing it was a quick job that Rylan the business owner did to make sure it was done right.
