Wow! I just had a terrible experience at Leslie tire Waterford. I bought 4 class A motorhome tires last summer. Over $1000. I stopped in 3pm not a single customer on the property. I asked if they would top my tire pressure as I am about to travel. The guy looked like he was passing a kidney stone! Looked at the tires, said I would need to remove my own caps (pressure monitoring caps) that screw off no harder than any other stem cap. Ok Then I was told there would be a charge. Ok Then he said it would be $5 per tire????? 6 tires $30??? I was insulted. The tires need 110lbs. My compressor stops @ 80lbs. I was parked 3 feet from the air hose. The #1 safety issue before you put your family in a motorhome is tire pressure!!! Affects stopping greatly. Visone RV junkyard in KY has over a hundred motorhomes that suffered blow outs. If you own a motorhome don't ever look at that website you will never put your grandkids in a motorhome again!! I will be buying 2 more tires this year. It will not be from Leslie tire!! They dont care about you after the sale! I am a small local businessman 2 blocks away. I was referred to them by a small local businessman, highly respected in the auto field. I was glad to support a local business but ended up disillusioned.

I have bought 3 sets of tires at Leslie Tire in Waterford. I have a slow leaker and need a rotation. Stopped by Leslie Tire, the counter man sent me away, sorry can't help you today. No attempt to set me up with a return visit. I try again. 4:20 in the afternoon. Same counter guy says sorry, can't take any more business today you can try again tomorrow. What kind of customer service is that? It's the kind that loses you a customer.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Told me when I bought my tires for my motorhome, no problem to come in and they would check the air anytime. Now even if I could get in, they will charge me for putting air in. Straight out lie. When I told him I'd been reading some bad reviews on fb about this exact thing, he told me "well, now ya know". Yep, now I know. And so do all of you.

Stop to have tire plugged. Tech showed me a huge gash so I had to purchase new tire. There was no wait and the replacement was reasonably priced. Grate service.

Very friendly staff, competitive pricing and their selections top notch. Looking for new tires look no further. They know more than the Box tire chains. You should always come here for new tires first. Their advice will save you money and time.

I have purchased tires and alignment services from this store for 25 years and have always been treated with respect and a smile by the old manager. Today I went to see about tires for our motorhome and a new manager was there. He was arrogant, unhelpful and rude. Perfect way to end a business relationship. The one positive outcome is that I would have never found Lowry Tire in Pontiac if it wasn't for this clown. Lowry gets my business moving forward.

Read the recent reviews on this place. Noticed there were too many negative comments, but went here anyway because of excellent past business dealings at this location and thought to give it a shot. Got the Semi-Trucker tire information I was looking for, but the manager Scott does not give off a good vibe...like he is hiding something, but of course there is no need to. Gave a 2-star rating because I did get the information needed. That being said, this place will not be getting my business. Went elsewhere, to Lowery Tire in Pontiac.

We spend over $ 4000.00 a year in this place. Pulled up in a semi cab with low tire. They didn't have time to check for a leak and refused to let me air the tire up. The guy behind the counter, a straight up jerk. Very rude. If it were my call, I'd never go back!

Blew a steer tire on semi on I-75 and called for mobile service and in about 90 mins I was back on the road with a new tire. Tire and mobile service pricing was very reasonable. The office called me with updates on the repair trucks estimated time of arrival. I have driven to a couple of their different locations in the past for semi tire repair or replacement and have always had great service and very good prices. Thanks again to the office staff and the mobile tire tech at Waterford for your great service. Will definitely recommend you and continue to use your services in the future.

Our family just had the worst experience with the “new” so called “manager” Scott. He was extremely rude and disrespectful. We dropped off a bunch of tires to be mounted, and an hour later he calls to inform us the price not only doubled, but almost QUADRUPLED in price. We have been using Leslie Tire in Waterford for years even though we live 30 mins away. We choose to use this store to mount and dismount tires, not only for our personal vehicles, but also our professional racing cars. We both are professional drivers for film and television, as well as Rally Racing. Scott did not inform us until we unloaded everything and left the store that he was now in charge and changing the price. He rudely called and said he was done talking to us, and to come pick up our tires and rims if we didn’t want to pay the new price (which the new price is higher than every other competitor in all of Detroit and the surrounding areas). On top of all of this he scratched our rims and threw them outside, we had just picked them up from being powder coated from another business and brought them straight to Leslie tire to be mounted. If Scott is truly now in charge, I’d be looking at the numbers because this is not the only store in town and if this is the customer service Leslie tire wants to provide to their customers, especially during a pandemic and 2 days before Christmas, you will be losing money. We will never come back and will tell everyone not to use this location. Merry Christmas Scott, I hope the reason you decided to be so rude and unprofessional was worth it. These guys are awesome. Needed a tire patched so I called at noon and asked how long it would take. They told me an hour so I brought my car in about ten minutes later and I was out the door before 1. Very honest and hard working shop and they have great prices. I’m happy I found this place!
