In my 55 years of life, I've never been to a Les Schwab that was so rude and disrespectful! All I needed was air in my tire! However, they kept looking at me and not saying anything. After about 5 minutes, I asked if I could have some air, and although there were two guys standing around doing nothing, they told me it'd be 10 minutes! No urgency whatsoever! This used to be one of the best Les Schwabs in the town. However, the guys that were great are now gone!

Liuz saved my life!! I went in for a strange sound coming from my back wheels after I had put new wheels on my truck myself a week prior, and I was about to drive to Seattle. The service manager Luiz jumped on the issue right away checking things out under my truck, and found that my new wheels didn’t match up to the hub size on my axles so the wheels were loose. They could have come off on the highway at 70mph! He quickly swapped my old wheels on to make me safe again. He was so gracious with his time and didn’t even ask for any payment. I am forever in debt to you Luiz and Les Schwab, you saved my life. Thank you!!!!

This establishment should be closed down poor management poor professionalism skills lack of humanity and gender or color should not matter but I was treated unfair when I received my battery I have not had the battery even 30 days in Les Schwab or let’s rob wants to charge me a service fees to come check the battery extremely puzzled that they wouldn’t give me a jump to bring the battery to the establishment or come and get the Dead battery please beware

I went to Les Schwab to get a quote for winter tires after getting a new car. They were confused by the car's tire size and ended up quoting me the wrong size tires and wheels. They also didn't sell the tires I'd read the best reviews about (Michelin Pilot Alpin). I could tell I needed to do more research, so I asked if I could buy wheels and tires separately for them to install (mount and balance only, a very standard job). The Les Schwab employee said "you wouldn't bring your own food to a restaurant ask them to cook it for you, would you?" That was 3 years ago and I still think about it when I drive by on tires I bought elsewhere.

I came in with what I thought was low air in one tire but it was a complete flat. Called my own roadside assistance to come change it but in the the end, the team at Schwab repaired the flat tire and sent me on my way. A real unexpected kind gesture on what was a stressful day, but keeping with Les Schwab's reputation. Thank you Brett & Julio!

Quoted me over $500 to replace the front brakes on my 2014 toyota Prius C after I came there because I smelled burning. They took the car in and gave a look, came back to me letting me know that I “needed” to replace my front brakes (calipers, pads, and rotors according to them). I’ve done my own brakes before so I nixed it at that price tag and went to Napa auto parts, bought the pads and rotors and tools ($217), and went home to replace them, only to find that there was almost NO wear on my brake pads and my rotors were perfect. Waited for professionals at the Toyota service center to confirm in case I was missing something, and today confirmed that the brakes absolutely did not need to be replaced AT ALL and I was just being taken for a fool at this Les Schwab tire center. I’m extremely disappointed and likely will never come back to any Les Schwab though they used to be my most trusted tire center. So disappointed that they would tell me I needed new brakes when I do not. It also took them 30 minutes to get my keys back to me after I confirmed I didn’t want the service.

Went in to get a right rear tire plugged due to running over a nail. Initial guy I spoke with was very nice. Said it would take an hour. Maybe an 1 1/2 hours at very most but would try and get me in quick a life it was just a plug. I said that would be great cause I had to pick up my wife from school in a couple hours so the time he stayed was great. I sat for 1 1/2 hours and hadn’t seen the car move so I asked the Asian lady at the desk how much longer they thought. She then said there is another car ahead of me still and that one didn’t look like it was going in very soon. I asked for the keys back so I could leave and they said they could try and get it in 15 min. I told them I didn’t have the time any longer. And wished that it had been told to me accurately in the beginning. I just said that I’ll take the keys and go to discount tire and the lady said ok and have a good day. Didn’t even try to apologize or anything. I’ve gotten several tires and services from Les Schwab prior with some of those being at this location. NEVER AGAIN!!!

The Les Schwab on NE Braodway in Portland, OR, lost my specialty tire stem caps and put on a mismatched set. I went back to have them find my originals. They did not seem to think it was a big deal. They also did not inflate my new tires properly and blamed their gages. They also did not reset the TPMS with the new tires. He said they did not need to. I have been told this is not correct. I would expect more for $1,100. Update: Then, I get the canned response below. I had a choice of where to go to get my new tires. I have been a loyal Les Scwab customer and have been for 30 years. This is the second complaint from me on the store. I stopped going there two or three years ago because they refused to look at a tire I had a concern with due to it being Christmas eve. Christmas night, on the freeway, the tire had a catatrophtic fail on a dangerous corner of the Terwilliger curves. The Columbia Blvd store took very good care of me after that incident and have been good to me since. The only reason I went back to Broadway was because of time and thinking they may have improved and the difference in tires they had available that they quoted me. Never again. I have another carel ti het tires for but, I don't now. Maybe the NE Columbia store, and maybe I will give Discount Tire a chance.

The worst experience ever…I went change my only bad tire to a new one instead they change the good one and left the bad tire in place and when I went to collect my good tire they have already taken it away…..I am not happy after spending 450 usd

Placed an online appointment 4 days in advance, $111 total, came to the store to be told that they didn’t have the tire and that it now would be $210 total. Discount tire from now on only, this place sucks, all my friends have been up-charged, lied to as well. The owner response is the same to all the bad reviews: “We’re sorry to see this. I hope that we have an opportunity to provide you with the better service you deserve in the future. - Joe” What a bunch of prancing around tubby losers.

I love this place! Today, I noticed my tire pressure light had come on, so I got out and saw that my tire was totally flat. I arrived at Les Schwab after they closed, but before I could pull back out of the parking lot, Julio came out and offered to put my spare tire on for me! What a gem! What service!

Les Schwab was able to take great care of my car after I needed new wheels and tires. I’m very grateful for their quick service and how they made the entire process from booking the appointment to picking up the car seamless. I’m now enjoying being back on the road thanks to their team!

Not satisfied. Booked an appointment for rotation and balance, showed up at the appointment time. I was told to be back in an hour. I came back and was told that the work was still going on. I went to the waiting room and started watching the crew. They haven't touched the car yet. Then I went inside and only after they started rotating the tires. They were done before I can even look back again. I was told that the balance was skipped because struts were leaking???? I had to drive to work and the car felt off balance the whole way. I had to call back and ask whether they torqued the tires or not at least. Terrible, insulting, stupidfying service.

We rolled in on a flat tire on a Saturday just before closing. Just drove over an Allen wrench on the way from Seattle— thank goodness 1/4 mile from a Les Schwab. Trying to get to my 91-year-old mom for Mother’s Day. The entire staff was helpful, friendly and tried their best to get a new tire. Then they realized they could fix the popped tire. Twenty minutes later, we’re back in the car. And no charge! You guys have my business for life! Thanks for saving our Mother’s Day!

I just would avoid this specific location! I live near this one and so it's the natural place for me to go for tire stuff and I have been a Les Schwab fan since forever. I don't know if ownership of this location changed in the last few years or not but the customer service here is terrible. Remember the Les Schwab sudden service? Within seconds someone runs out and happily sorts out what you need and gets you into the process. Maybe a long wait but they were still nice about it? Not here. Ever. I have been coming here 2 to 3 times a year over the last couple of years and almost every time I leave. Today I walked in, no one said a thing to me. A customer checking out was being scolded for not swiping his credit card properly by a woman with black hair. And while I was watching that, a man from inside the bays yelled at me through the window to hurry up and move my car, he needed to pull a car in to a bay and my car was partially blocking (never mind there is no parking there or across the street in the little gravel alley). I'm just done with them. I don't want to feel like an 8 year old child getting scolded at for leaving the front door open. Today I left and went to the location on NE Sandy Blvd at about 29th. So friendly and helpful. 100% the opposite of the horror show at the location off NE Broadway and NE 7th Ave. I have given the NE Broadway location more than enough chances to just be nice: They don't seem to be capable. Done. Go elsewhere. These guys are terrible.

This location throughout the years has lost its validation visit by visit. I have been to this establishment four times within the last month for the SAME EXACT SITUATION! After purchasing my tires here I have noticed the loss of air in my tires time and time again. Mind you, the tires are fully covered under their warranty and still they feel as if they can simply patch it up and allow me to drive around Oregon with the same faulty tires that they have probably had in the back sitting for centuries. I suggest going anywhere but here as their service matches the quality of their tires. Today, I drove back up to complain about the lack of reliability in their tires I was left to sit aside waiting for service as they had 15+ men standing, walking, and prancing around never once coming to service my vehicle while they had no one else to tend to. I am tired of their lack of accountability, commitment, and communication when it comes to their dedication towards the customers and their brand. Go anywhere but here. I’d rather pay the rates provided by Car dealerships or J&J’s auto parts before coming back here.

My faith in Les Schwab has been restored! After three recent bad experiences at the location close to our house, I decided to call the Broadway location instead. From the first phone call, I knew I was in good hands. Unfortunately for my pocket book, I needed a new set of tires due to a sidewall nail puncture, but the crew was super helpful with pricing and expertise and had me ready to go in just a couple of hours, even made time to replace the battery asap. Great service, friendly staff!! Thank you so much!

Used to be my go to place, but they try to sell you tires claiming the tread is worn too much. That was true with an old tire, but the one we brought in today had 5/32" of tread and they claim I need new tires. I won't shop here any more! When I showed my partner the depth of tread with a micrometer, she felt they did it because she was woman and wouldn't know any better.

Wendell at this location is a ROCK STAR! I blew out one of the tires on a loaner car when I hit the curb. I was not having a good day and was stressed out. I came by the shop and a slender woman with very long dark hair behind the counter showed me no love, compassion or empathy and was very matter of fact in her communication with me told me it would be at least 2 hrs (this was already in the late afternoon) and sent me away (no stars for her). Luckily for me, Wendell saw me walking back to the disabled car and asked me if he could help me. I told him the story and explained I needed to return the vehicle but needed the spare put on and that the woman behind the counter told me it would be 2 hrs. He went in and asked his manager Ivan if he could help me and was given the green light! I was so happy and relieved. I told Wendell that he had no idea how much he helped me this was on Thursday 3/14. He’s truly a guardian angel and a hero! He took the busted tire off, wrapped it on Les Schwab plastic and got my spare put on so that I could safely return the car. The time Wendell took to help me meant the world to me. I also want to thank Ivan for giving Wendell the permission he needed to help me right then. As for the woman behind the counter, I hope she can treat customers better in the future. She saw how stressed I was and showed no kindness or compassion to me. Fortunately Wendell was there and saved my day! It’s employees like him who make me a loyal customer! He truly is an awesome and amazing person! I’m very grateful to him. Thank you Wendell!
