Have always loved Les Schwab and recommend them to everyone because of their genuine customer service. Called them tonight 2 minutes after closing, under a mile away with a hole in my tire and they said come on in and got me taken care of. I thank you guys so much and can’t recommend you enough.

Trustworthy and reliable service. They keep an eye out for services which would be of value to their customers, but don't pressure folks into repairs they don't need. I had brought my Ford in for some new tires and an alignment - the tech noticed the wheel bearings were making an unusual sound and provided me with relevant information so that I could make an informed decision before authorizing the repair. The tech and manager/supervisor on shift took extra time and care with my vehicle to diagnose this issue and bring it to my attention. The car drives much better, much more quietly now - I had not realized quite how loud it had gotten. Good looking out!

I have been a long time Les Schwab customer. My dad has been even longer. I want to say since the 80's! Came into the State St location today to get my tires looked at. They were running low. It was awfully busy today. With winter around the corner, I'm sure everyone is trying to make sure their vehicles are winter ready. James helped me out at the desk. Told him what was wrong with my tires and he got me all squared away. I didn't get a chance to grab 2 other staff members names but they were both really kind as well! The gentleman that helped me at the end explained everything to me. If I had any other issues just to head back. No matter what issues I've had in the past with my tires, Les Schwab always does a great job! I wouldn't go any where else for my tire needs. They are consistently kind and professional! I highly recommend this location for your car's needs.

I would give ZERO STARS if I were able. I am LUCKY I GOT HOME. I went here for a tire rotation, wheel balance, and alignment. I was told I needed new ball joints, new tie rods, and a new track bar. All were replaced and an alignment was performed, hypothetically. After getting home, I heard a loud clunk and I CAN NO LONGER TURN LEFT! I repeat LUCKY TO HAVE MADE IT HOME. In addition to not being able to turn left, my passenger front tire is visibly turned out when the driver side is straight and both flare out at the bottom. Now I can't even drive it back to have them fix it. It's going to have to be towed. How do I trust that they would in fact even fix it the second time?!

To Jule Narad… there is no way any Les Schwab location would turn your car over to you with that type of work. No Way it happened. You will never convince me of that. Their work is exceptional.

I had a flat tire when I left home and I figured it out a block away when I was very close to the Les Schwab on State St in Boise. It was 7:20am and I pulled in to their lot and checked my tire with my pressure gauge and it was down to 14 psi and I needed to get to a substitute teaching job on the other side of town but I either needed air in my tire or the tire patched. Then I see an employee arriving and I told him my predicament and he had James the assistant manager come out and talk to me . James said he could check it out in 10 minutes which he did. It was not repairable so we pumped it up (it was a slow leak) so I could get to work and he ordered me 2 new tires ( I don't like to mismatch tires on an axle) because my style was discontinued. I am so grateful they were in there shop way before there opening time and were willing to help me. I really appreciate it. I use them regularly for stuff on my cars and they always do a good job. Even when I had a warrant brake caliper on my wife's car they got it fixed and made sure the caliper on the other side of the axle was new just like the warranty one on the other side just like they tell customers when they come in for brake replacements. It isn't easy making sure all your employees are competent and on top of stuff. They have a great reputation for a reason. No tire shop is without mistakes but these guys and gals will make it right for you. I will always try to give them all my business for the categories they do and I'm am very picky and don't give out glowing references very often.

Could have killed me and totaled my car. A few months ago a had them mount some snow tires on a new set of wheels, and convert my front hubs from lug bolts to lug studs. I went to raise my car up and take the wheels off today to wash off all the road salt from the winter, only to discover that every stud had been installed incorrectly. All of the studs on one side were installed backwards so that there was little thread for the lug nuts to hold on to. The other side 3 of them were backwards and it looked like they had put lock-tight on the nut side of the stud rather than the hub side. Almost all of the studs were hand tight in the hub and those that weren’t were greatly over torqued. I also asked them to let me know if anything was wrong under there as I had just bought the car 2nd hand, they said it all looked fine. Today though I found the front sway bar was not attached on one side and clearly had not been in a long time due to the rust found under where the bushing should have been if it was attached properly. Won’t be coming here again if this is what they’ll let people drive on.

Love this place! Excellent service at Les Schwab every time. I have to drive by Bruneel Point S Tires on Chinden getting to Les Schwab on State St. I've been consistently mistreated at Bruneel. Avoid them at all cost and make your way to Schwab. They know how to take care of customers.

I have had to have repairs done to my Les Schwab tires twice in less than a year (from driving over screws in the road). They fix them on the spot for free, with no hassle. They rock!

My husband got my tires balanced on my van here, and they failed to tighten all the bolts tight enough. I was driving and suddenly there was a loud thud sound coming from the right front tire area. My husband took the wheel off when I got home and couldn’t find anything wrong with the breaks, bearings, etc and when he put the tire back on and drove it, the sound was gone and it was fine. When he got home it clicked that maybe the bolts were loose and he checked the other tires, they were all loose. I drove on the freeway that day with my two little girls and I don’t want to imagine what would have happened if the tire flew off. Please talk to your staff about properly tightening the lug nuts on tires. Not sure if it was an off day or someone new or what but it could have been bad for my family. Thanks.

These guys really put up with a lot from my grandpa and his backhoe. They have the equipment to handle bigger jobs that most other shops will not accommodate. Service is fast and affordable.
