Over quoted me by over $1000. Took it to my original shop and all it needed was an alignment. Make people loose trust in any kind of maintenance shop.

I have been a customer at this shop since 2011 and highly recommend them. Quick turnaround. Reasonably priced. And when you go in thinking you might need brake service, and you get "Not yet. You're still good." Man, I appreciate that. Instills loyalty. Thanks guys. I will be back.

I've been coming to Les Schwab off and on for years. I have visited all locations in Bakersfield and have had a pleasant experiences at all of them. The Oswell location is my go to. The other day I went to the Oswell location to put air in my much loved tires and Michael suggested he give me a quote for my tires (which I knew were heading out the door anyway). I agreed and I was happy he went out of his way to not just put air but also give a quote. Today, I came in to buy 2 tires because the censor was worrying me. I was on a few hours time crunch and advised the staff about it. But they got right to work on my car and I was out a lot sooner than expected. I was given a longer time frame and fully understood it could've took much longer and was prepared to wait. I don't mind. But I see them literally running around almost every time I come (not that they need to, but great nonetheless). Every single employee, even the front desk people work so diligently and professionally. Whenever I ask questions I feel informed and not dumb. I feel like the employees understand I care to know about how my car works and how to care for it. Ernie and Alexander helped me today and were professional and efficient. Looking forward to coming back to get my next 2 tires!

I’m traveling, a lot! My Subaru (Steve) needed a set of tires. I’d caught a nail in Florida and they replaced the one tire. Not good for all wheel drive. I called Les Schwab Bakersfield Oswell & even though they were busy they got me in same day. Isabell, the front office person was so amazing, pleasant and very caring. Turned out I was going to need breaks pretty soon, so they did them as well. Thank you so much!! to LS Bakersfield Oswell for insuring I am safe in my travels. Isabell, the young man that kept me informed and Wes you all made my day! Come visit me in GNP if you get a chance.

Please bring Arturo back...we have been going here since it opened..they used to be great and go above and beyond as far as customer service...but today I was very disappointed with them..I took my truck in with break issues and windshields wipers..when I picked it up they didn't check the fluid which was very low...and no wipers..so they added fluid and put the wipers on..but left my front seat with oil on it..very disappointed. I did speak with tim.. still disappointed

Free flat repair means you have to leave it till they get to it, dont expect quick turn around, everything else comes first....make appointment if you need it the same day

I've been going to this location for over a year now to get oil changes only to realize they don't even check anything else. Joke is on me but maybe you should inform someone when the coolant is low and not leave a mess underneath the hood. Got my oil changed and came back home with it smoking. Mess underneath the hood as well as no coolant. I cannot necessarily blame them for the coolant however who knows what they were doing while they were changing the oil. Again I understand you don't do full service but the coolant is right next to where you're filling up on the oil where it appears you also spilled the oil everywhere underneath. Lesson learned on my end would not recommend. Tires only. but tires here.

The one on buck Owen's is the best one to go to took care of me and had great customer service, some of the other tire shops don't even torque the wheel nuts , that's crazy these guys are under paid les schwab needs to step it up

Completely unsatisfactory tire quality. Bought brand new tires with a warranty and within 25k miles two of them were bald. They say they require you to have your tires rotated there, but never tell you that if you don’t your warranty is invalid. Was told It’s in the fine print on the back side of the warranty. Buyer beware!!!

I went to the Oswell location for a brake inspection. After I had told them that I had replaced the rear brakes, they would tell me if there is any problems. I get a phone call later stating that they will charge me $167 an hour to inspect my brings. I went down to the location and all the manager can tell me that is they are sorry they messed up. Well yes you are sorry. No longer will I take my business there or our charity events to you guys. Thank you
