I dont like to ever leave bad reviews because i know it can affect a persons livelihood. And ive held off on this. But sadly, and it does make me sad, i feel i have a responsibility to warn anyone else that may get hurt by this business. Ill start by saying im a homeless guy who lives in his van and i came here because my friends brother owns this shop. However this last estimate was just outragous. Unbelievable. Not sure if its Tony or Zane however i dont think either are trustworthy. Ive spent 20k at their shop this year. Wont get into all the details. I needed one fuel pump they replaced all 3. $2500 job. There was a new fuel smell afterwards and requested them to look at it but they havnt past 2 trips in the shop. Wasnt going to come back but i called zane to give him 1 more chance. Having an electrical issue with the van. Also needed the gas smell addressed. Explained to him i had done some work myself and got a 20 minute lecture on how he doesnt want me or any other shop working on this van if i plan on coming back. I now see why. These guys have been taking FULL advantage of me and my situation. He told me he would investigate the electrical issue to help me and in an effort to restore our relationship. Had the van towed to Legend. 2 days later i get a bill for $1664 to change a starter and selenoid. I towed my van out bought the parts for $145 and did the job myself in about 40 minutes. The estimate billed me for $1080 in labor. So 5 hours at $205 an hour to change 2 parts that are external and each have only 2 bolts. I probably could have done both in less than half hour if i had all the tools sitting there. Had to walk back and forth to the house a few times. I wont get into the other $20000 i spent this year. But i promise i would never leave a bad review unless deserved. By the way, the starter and selenoid were not the issue my van still wont start. So they were going to basically rob me for $1700 and try getting me im sure to spend thousands more. What a disgrace. Horrible business. These people have no mercy and will take full advantage of you. Please dont support this shop. I cant express enough. These are not good people. The dishonesty, the over priced labor, and the willingness to take full advantage of someone with not alot of $ who lives in his car and that trusts this shop. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Both of you, Tony and Zane. One day God is going to hold you both accountable for everyone you have ever screwed over. And until then ill be praying for you.

I found out my car wouldn’t start without a jump on a Sunday. Monday I called my dealer who couldn’t see me till Friday. I researched independent shops found Legends with a A+ BBB rating, They were able to see me that afternoon. I had two batteries, both needing replacement. They let me know the full cost upfront and fixed my car. Tony the manager was great at letting me know status of repair and the time needed. I am very pleased they could accommodate me and will certainly use their services.

These folks are good. Exceptionally good. We were on the road far from home with a travel trailer so our options were limited. The repair Gods smiled on us and these fine folks were within walking distance. Impressive, through, way above average, organized, and kind as hell. Premium Oil Change, combined with the BG Engine Plus Service is an excellent option. Also, the location and facility is fantastic. I highly recommend Legend Motor Works.

Good people, great work! The guys at Legend are the most knowledgeable, honest and hard-working mechanics in Colorado Springs! When Google maps led me and my two young children down a bad mountain road, and we were stranded on our vacation, Zane, Tony and the team worked tirelessly to get my car back up and running, and even stayed late on a Friday night to make sure I had a vehicle that was able to take us back home, 6 hours away, before they closed for the weekend. They really went above and beyond. It’s not often that you find a good mechanic, and when you do, you take note!! Thank you again to everyone at Legend!!

Effective shop, quite pricey but they communicated things well and did a timely job on repairing my oil leak. Seems to be about $150 an hour for labor.

I have been going to Legend for a couple years now. I was recommended by a friend after having bad experiences at a couple chain mechanics. I have had several services performed, including shocks replacement and HVAC troubleshooting. I am always happy with the results and love how thorough everything is. Not to mention the entire team is super friendly! Zane is a kind and trustworthy business owner and I would highly recommend Legend to anyone!

I have gone to Legend Motor Works for several different issues. They are thorough, explain issues in an easy to understand way, efficient, and polite. I was in a bind an needed my car back within a day. Legend worked quickly to get the work done. I appreciate the little details such as helping with a loaner car, cleaning out the inside and calling the next week to check on how it's doing. I will definitely use them in the future!

I took my car into Legend Motor Works after my engine light went on. They did a superb job of inspecting my vehicle and diagnosing the problem. They carefully document every problem they found with pictures and gave me a super helpful estimate with a clear breakdown of how much the parts would cost and how much the labor would cost to fix each problem they found. It felt very transparent and I never felt like I was being upsold or mislead. They did an amazing job fixing my car. During the whole process they went above and beyond what they needed to! I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

I want to thank Legend Motor Works for the outstanding job they did on my vehicle. I brought it in for some major maintenance. They removed and replaced my engine along with several other components that needed to be repaired or replaced. They did it very efficiently and in a timely manner at a reasonable price. My car had a fuel leak which I made worse by trying to fix it myself. Lol the car also had an electrical gremlin. They gave me in information on which was important and how they were going to fix the problems. They did not try to up-sell on services I did not need and I felt that they were honest. And they did quality work. I hope I never have to take my car back to the shop but if I do I'll be happy to bring it here.

The staff at Legend Motor Works were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They kept me in the loop from start to finish of diagnostics and repairs. They worked to actually find the root of the problems and recommend fixes based on urgency of the repairs needed, unlike the previous shops I brought my truck to. Thanks again!

These guys are classic car pros. They always take great care to provide top level service. I love how Zane takes the time to explain what's going on with the car, what is needed to fix the problem, and any other issues/concerns that they discover.
