Leale's Auto & Transmission was highly recommended My VW New Beetle developed a Transmission problem. Jim and Tyler were able to access the issue and make the repairs needed in an efficient, timely and very professional manner. My Vw beetle is on the road again. Moving back to the east coast bringing my father back home and the transmission to our camper went out. The service was excellent & quick! Thanks to these amazing mechanics our old 1988 Chevy Elite made it home to the east coast & still has some life left. Thank you all!

Came here with new problems my car started up with, and didnt know what I was in for, everyone at this shop was so patient and understanding. As a woman I get nervous with mechanics and here everything was explained to me, the costs were very fair. Im really grateful I stumbled upon this shop and want to bring my cars here again in the future, thankyou for getting my car back on the road!!

Took my Dodge durango up here because I was having transmission problems. Now the guy Jim I spoke with was very friendly. Informed me of what was happening. Told me my only option was a new transmission. Or transmission rebuild. I truly did not want to spend $7895.85 However, they warranty their product and their work one year or twelve thousand miles. Cool, so we struggle to find the money. We get the money and make the payment. We get our car back a little less than a month later. I go to pick up my car after final payment and here's my floor board! It did not look like this when it came to them. The carpet was not pulled back. The glove box was not ripped off and laying in the floorboard. You would think after paying almost eight thousand dollars, they would at least put everything back the way it goes properly. That's what makes me upset, and that's what leaves this review. I paid them almost as much as I paid for the entire vehicle, and they can't be bothered to put a glove box back in its proper position versus leaving it on my floor........ The owner finally reached back out to me and attempted to make things right. I can say that the owner has then very cordial on the phone. Each time that i've spoken with him and apologized for his employees and their lack of attention to detail when it comes to my vehicle. He also emailed me a warranty for their work. One year twelve thousand miles. Though he reached out my opinion still stands that I would not take another vehicle to this company and I would be very careful in the future of anybody who goes to this company. Get your quote in writing prior to taking your vehicle up there. Take pictures prior to you taking your vehicle up there. And once your vehicle is returned to, you go over every inch of the vehicle to make sure the job is done properly.

The team here are absolutely great! They are highly knowledgeable, honest, and very nice as well. I brought my car in for an inspection for the transmission (which they do for free btw) and Jim gave me a great in depth analysis, with genuine advice and an honest price for work he's experienced in! Highly recommend!

My 2001 Town&Country transmission had a breakdown. Other shops I called said I have to wait for some time. Jim from Leale's Transmissions took it immediately to diagnose. They found the TCM is the problem but they cannot find the part because my van is too old. I found one on eBay. Jim let me take the van back home without charging me while I was waiting for shipping. After the part arrived, Jim took two weeks to find the problem and eventually fixed. And still charged me a reasonable fee. Excellent service! Highly recommended

Ok....so i cannot express how great Jim is!!! He is so personable, so friendly and ONE HUNDRED percent trustworthy! My car needed major repair and he worked with me so that it didn't become this huge stressful thing for me. I will not take my car anywhere else...i cannot say enough about Jim and his extensive knowledge on cars and just the way he treats his customers. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!

After taking our Jag to Wheel Works for an oil change and a lifetime alignment, I had to take it to Leale's because of the incompetence of the service adviser at Wheel Works. When there is an issue with a vehicle, the advisor is supposed to point it out. Every time I would ask, he would mumble something and walk away. So, instead of dealing with incompetence, I sought out a better option. Leale's was within walking distance and was able to get the car in quickly. Little did I know the true issues with the car. When I purchased this car, I bought an extended warranty through CarMax, and I am so glad now. The car had a lot of "little" issues that turned out to be expensive issues because it is a Jag, and the warranty requires Jag parts. Jim and Tyler were both fantastic. Jim spearheaded the conversations with the car warranty company, and he got more than 80% of the repairs covered. While it took longer than I would have liked, that is another issue with owning a Jag. So, let me say it this way. If you have an issue with your car, regardless of the make or model, call these guys. They are phenomenal, and they will take good care of you. We are now customers for life.

I’ve had such a great experience with my forester here. Got a new radiator installed after a break down. Contacted Leale’s and they said I could tow it over even though they were closed. Drop Box! My Lexus' transmission was acting up, and I knew I must have it checked. I searched via YELP for a transmission shop in San Jose. Leale's popped up and I called them this morning. I talked to Jim and he asked me to bring the car in for checking. I brought my car to Jim's shop. I called back to check on status in the afternoon. He told me the car was reset to have the transmission back to normal. I was so happy for that. Jim is very friendly and professional providing great customer service. I really appreciated Jim for the excellent service. I highly recommend this shop.

Honest, nice, knowledgable, and professional! I would highly recommend Leale’s. After receiving a very high quote for a repair at the dealer, I took my Audi here to get a second opinion. Jim took a look at my vehicle and it turns out that I probably don’t even need what the dealer had recommended (the issue is likely with a different, cheaper part). Leale’s has saved me thousands and I am grateful!

I came here as a result of my starter going out. I called on a Sunday evening and they were able to fit me in for the next day Monday! They were very professional and you could tell they knew exactly what they were doing, the entire experience here was great. I personally know only a little about cars and they were happy enough to walk me through everything and make sure i understood everything and the steps thats needed to be taken. The service was relatively quick. Super happy and WILL be coming here again and recommending!!!
