I was referred to LC Auto Repair by my girlfriend, as she has (2) automobiles that have been serviced by its owner/chief mechanic: Tam. When I brought in my 2018 Ford EcoSport to him in early March of 2024, to replace a purge valve: he not only did the diagnostic for free, but he knocked down my estimate by $30 due to the part being delayed. And the repair? He estimated it'd be 90 min; it took 30 min. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for your automobile service in San Diego! -- Cody

I do not recommend it.I took my car to him because of a prblem and could no fix it,I returned 3 times and he did not find the problem they aren not godd mechaanic.I do not recommend..I paid him and he told me put new part and he didnt dont take your car with them..

LC Auto Repair is the best place to get your car repaired. It's a family owned business and they are very professional. I have been taking my car there for the last 4 years for regular car maintenance as well & Tom has kept my car in great condition. Very honest mechanics & very reasonable prices. I just love LC Auto Repair & I will continue to take all of my vehicles here for years to come. Just an overall great business.

Very quick and professional. The large parking lot is nice to not deal with street parking in this area. Cute seating/waiting area. They let your car idle in their lot to reach operating temperature for the best chance at passing smog. Most smog shops would just test your car cold and let you fail.

My husband's good friend and family have been going here exclusively for over 30 years. They introduced us to LC Auto Repair, a family owned and operated business. Which we are glad they did, and that is an understatement! Our very first experience they fixed our check engine light so we could pass smog after they installed a new catalytic converter. He only charged us a quarter of the price that we had been quoted by other auto shops. Plus, they installed it in just under 3 hours. My husband and I have since made LC Auto Repair our go to place for anything regarding our car. We truly believe LC Auto has never exaterated an issue with the car or tryed to scam us. They seem to always treat us fairly, putting the customer first and always working within our budget! We highly recommend LC Auto Repair and we have not even thought of going elsewhere. They are very polite, professional, never turned us away, and most importantly, never made us feel as if we were less than or dummies that don't know about their own car. FYI, they are always busy, so if you bring your car in, be prepared, that they might ask you to come back the following morning. Do it, because they will have the parts waiting for you and your car. Then you should be out of there in a couple of hours and have saved a good chuck of cash.
