10/10 recommend Lawsons! Every time I come here Scott and Natalie are so kind. They always can fit me in for an oil change and have fixed all my other car issues in a timely manner. They are also affordable, which is my favorite part. Whenever I have questions, Scott explains exactly what is going on with my car instead of dismissing me. They don’t BS you here and will be honest about what’s going on! I drive across Austin to get my car serviced here.

I've been taking vehicles to Lawson for almost 9 years now. They always communicate very clearly on issues, pricing and timeline. I always try and call before I go and they will usually tell me how busy they are and how long they think it might take to get to my vehicle. I feel that their pricing is reasonable and they always try and give me some options when a fix is needed. I really like their service and communication... I've even had them recommend other shops in the area when there was a service needed that they could not perform (like body work or transmission work). I would recommend them for any general mechanic work on a vehicle.

They spend extra effort, not to upsell, but out at a seemingly genuine care for their costumers. My teen driver has been driving my truck more than myself as of late and when I heard the squealing I was convinced it was my brakes. However, after dropping it off and having them look it over they told me my brakes were fine. I let them know more specifically when and where I thought I heard it. In the end Scott explained to me my brakes were safe and charged me nothing! so the next week my wife needed an oil change and feeling I owed them something for their time I sent her to let them change the oil. Typically someone tries to sell her an air filter at minimum. But here they changed her oil, checked her tires and brakes all for less than we normally pay for an oil change. My son also enjoyed the arcade machine while they waited. So now for the foreseeable future, we will be bringing all of our vehicles here. Very impressed.

Highly recommend. They are extremely transparent, honest and my go to for all types of vehicles. I have a Lexus and I will use them instead of my dealership. I have taken a Ford purchased for my son and it’s been stressful to ensure it’s safe and a car that can be dependable for a teen driver. It’s hard to find a great shop, they are it.

What a wonderful experience with Jared. We blew a hose while hauling our camper thru town and the first driveway we had to turn into was Lawson Automotive. Jared had us back on the road in 5 minutes.

I dropped my Ram 1500 off for them to check a noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. I was not sure what it was and was ready to spend what it took to repair the vehicle. They determined the possible cause of the noise and recommend I return to a previous auto shop to have the problem repaired under warranty. Only charged a minimum fee to check out the vehicle. Lawson will be where I take our vehicles from now on.

I've been using Lawson for over ten years now. Once our vehicles are beyond the manufacturer's warranty and it's no longer necessary to use the dealership shop, I use Lawson's. They are professional and remarkably honest, and will spend a lot of time with each customer.

Not willing to work with brand new, non-electrical customer provided parts (hubs, control arms, ball joints). Was hoping I could rely on them after being referred, but owner told me no. Unfortunately continuing to look for mechanic willing to lend a hand with labor.
