I will shop here again! I ended up purchasing a parking brake parts kit for my fj40 Land Cruiser from LCS and it was cheaper than other places I found online. Reaching out to Tim by email was a breeze, shipping didn't take too long, and the parts fit!

I've been on the hunt for a replacement sunroof glass for the better part of 2 years now. I contacted Tim at Landcruiser Specialties with little hope left before it got a tube of silicone. Not only was he quick to answer my questions, but he double checked that I cleared the gutter lines so I didn't overspend. Afterward, he sourced it and had it shipped within a couple of weeks. They built a crate, bubble wrapped, Styrofoam, covered it in fragile labels, the whole deal. It arrived today and was in better condition than I expected. Not only would I recommend them to anyone for Landcruiser needs, but I know now that I have a great team in the contact book for any trouble I run into in the future. Thanks, Tim and Team. Tim has been working on our ‘95 FJZ80 for a couple of years now. We started off with a thorough inspection and report and have been slowly taking care of the recommended repairs as well as necessary maintenance and upgrades. Tim is extremely knowledgeable and great at recommending only the necessary repairs. You’ll need to schedule service well in advance as Tim is in high demand. It’s well worth the wait and I highly recommend Land Cruiser Specialties to take care of your Land Cruiser.

Tim came highly recommended by other vintage Toyota owners and it was not a surprise: amazingly thorough work and explanations throughout the rebuilding of worn parts on my 1987 FJ60. Carb, Steering, Front End, Driveline, etc. Drives like new. Well worth the drive. Having an individual who fully understands the vehicle's needs as well as the customer's is a rare combination. Tim did an outstanding job doing a complete rebuild of my fj40 rearend, hard to find parts but he got the job done timely with solid communication throughout the process. When he called me to come pick it up I couldn't have been happier, the rear end looked like something you would order out of a magazine, show room quality!

Bought a rebuilt power steering gear box from this business. I am thrilled with the improvement in steering and was very satisfied with the sell and process of returning the core. I would not hesitate to recommend this business and would use them again in the future if my 1988 fj62 is in need of more TLC.

I contacted Tim to do an LED light conversion and a refurb of my slow-running windows. Tim did a great job communicating and everything came in on budget. He did a full check-up of my FJ62 and gave me a good prioritized list of future improvements for my rig. Honest, fast, on-budget. Also saw a frame off resto he did of an FJ60....coolest thing I've ever seen.

I've been Tim's customer since 2005. We have done a wide variety of build and rebuild projects on my 1985 FJ60. This time it was replacing a gear reduction starter. I'm always more than satisfied with his quality of work and his communication. I recommend him highly.

They will mention Tim @ Land Cruiser Specialties. Tim is a connoisseur when it comes to Land Cruisers. Tim knows just about every Land Cruiser every built! The Land Cruiser community will attest to Tim’s knowledge, some will say that Tim’s a Land Cruiser whisper, lol. What made Tim so special coming from me, as a first-time customers Tim is very flexible with working and holding my rig while I found time to retrieve it back from the shop. But not only that, Tim addresses every component that needed to be work on, and he asked me what I would like to do or take care off. He didn’t pressure me to get everything fix. He just asked what you would like him to work on for you. Tim ability to work on my 80, made the feeling that he was not just fixing a customer car, it felt like he was working on his own personal rig making sure everything is taken care off and addressed. Even going above and beyond to fix certain maintenance, even thou it wasn’t on the list to make sure the rig quality working for you. Tim made a lifetime customer with me, and I trust no one else but Tim to work on my 80.

Land Cruiser Specialties and its owner, Tim, did fantastic work on my 2005 Land Cruiser. It was time to service the belts, water pump, replace hoses and a handful of other items — all of which Tim was knowledgeable on. Tim is a great person to work with. He is responsive and very educated in the landcruiser field. He had a sale on nitro complete master install kit I couldn’t pass up. At first I contacted Tim and I asked him which payment he can accept, he said that he can take any payment but you as the customer will have to pay for the credit card fee or I can send a check. Tim did explain that his business is small and cannot take the fees. At first I thought it was maybe a scam because I saw the deal on Facebook. You when they say if the deal seems too good it might be a scam. I was a little concerned at first but I still sent him a check. The order did take longer than expected due to nitro inventory. Tim was also very informative during the whole process. I’m glad I did because I got a deal on the gears. This is a legitimately business I would recommend to friends and family.

Had the door lock actuators and door rubbers replaced, great to have the locks and windows working like new. Once the truck was dropped off, the work was completed in a timely manner.

I have taken my 80 series LC to Tim for several years. The attention to detail, customer service and thorough knowledge of all aspects of the LC is the best I've seen. My 80 series has been in my family for over 30 years. I have been to several repair shops during that time but none of them have come close to the quality of this company.

After jumping in the deep end and buying a FJ60 with an unknown number of problems, Tim at LCS really took care of me. He did a thorough inspection and when some major safety concerns were found, he was able to fix them quick. Tim is super knowledgeable and practical. I will be taking my rig to LCS for as long as he’s willing to take the work. I highly recommend this shop.

I recently bought a 100 series that needed some major adjustment with my suspension & tires. Tim was amazing and squeezed me into his extremely tight schedule. I took my 1996 80 series into Land Cruiser Specialties earlier this year for some much needed work. I cannot recommend the shop enough. Tim is very communicative and took the time to walk me through a lot of questions I had on performance and maintenance. His shop did great work installing a number of new suspension components to refresh parts that were shot after 26 years, and also corrected some issues caused by poor installation of components at another off-road shop. If you are looking for somewhere professional, communicative, and honest, you've come to the right place.

LCS was recommended by a Toyota dealer, who said LCS could do a better on older models (1986 FJ60 Land Cruiser. Many items needed attention. LCS did a thorough diagnostic, communicated clearly, and delivered on the service. My Land Cruiser is much improved. He was true to his estimated cost.

Tim did a thorough and professional job of rebuilding the front knuckles/axle on my 97 FZJ80. I had an emergency wheel bearing blowout and he got me in and out quickly, despite having a full workload and typically only taking appointments 6 months out. I highly recommend Land Cruiser Specialties for any repairs or inquiries you might have for your Land Cruiser. I’ll be going back to Tim for more work in the future!
