I needed a lot of work done with my CRV. They were able to fix it all based on the diagnostics. Plus my oil change. I feel like they are honest and of course that’s a concern everytime a car issue comes up.

They were able to get me in for a flat tire and replaced it same-day, service was quick and reasonably priced and they didn't try to push anything extra (which is always something I worry about as a woman at an auto shop).

Left the lugnuts off my tire after a flat repair. I don't even understand how that happens. Also, the tire they repaired has a slow leak. Now I still need to replace it after all while paying for them a repair

Been going to Lamb’s on N Lamar for 6 years but calling it quits after too many bad experiences. Incident 1: Last year I took my car in for an alignment, and wound up with rear tires that were so poorly aligned that they wore down to the steel braid on the inside of the tire within a month. To be fair, they replaced the tires free of charge after acknowledging the mistake (still charged me for the RE-alignment though). Incident 2: Took my car in to get a tire replaced for a sidewall puncture, and they added a $60 ā€˜tire protection plan’ to the bill without telling me. Didn’t realize until I got home and looked at the receipt. Went back to the shop to get it refunded, no apology and front desk was rude. Incident 3: My partner had a screw in her tire, well within the repairable zone. I would’ve patched it myself but didn’t have time due to work. Called Lamb’s in the morning and they said they would take care of it within the hour. No call back the entire day, called at the end of the day and they said they would call before they closed. Nothing until the next morning when they called to say the puncture was not repairable and tried to sell her a new tire. I’ve patched enough tires to know they were lying. Sure enough, took the car to Discount Tire and got it patched within an hour. The staff running this location are rude and reinforce the stereotype of an incompetent, scummy, and dishonest vehicle repair shop. Will be going to Discount Tire from here on out.

Short explanation: dishonest and pricey The full story: I came in for a routine oil change and mentioned that I would like to have my tires rotated as well. They assured me that the tire rotation was included with the oil change service. When I received a call saying my car was ready for pickup, they informed me that they had also added air to the tires. However, upon picking up my car, I noticed that the tire rotation hadn't been completed, as the rear wheels are newer than the front ones. I walked in hoping to understand what happened, but I was only given the total amount due rather than an explanation. They suggested scheduling another appointment to have the tire rotation done, but I explained that I was hoping to complete everything in one visit. To help THEM resolve the situation, I asked if they could offer a discount since the full service I requested wasn't provided. They gave me a standard $15 off coupon. When I drove off, I checked my tire pressure and the tires weren't even filled. I value transparency when it comes to businesses, and Lambs does not provide that.

The first thing is they don't give you an itemized list of what parts cost and what was replaced. Just a total, and when I asked for an itemized list, they gave me a hard time. Like I had no right to know. The next thing is to beware of the part price markup. They charge me $600 more for OEM parts than Subaru. That's right, $600 more for OEM parts. I could have gotten a free loner and a good coffee, a true Subaru technician to work on my car. It would have been done faster(it took 3 days) and saved $600. Lesson learned. In the future, its oil changes only.

Trying to support small business, we made an appointment on Lamb's website, selecting a location, choosing a time and services, and adding our vehicle to their system. When we arrived, we were informed they don't use that system, and would not have time to service our vehicle until New Years Day, apparently. I guess we'll go somewhere that has their stuff together.

I've been taking my truck to Lamb's for over a year now. Rob is very helpful and understanding. His crew is always fast yet thorough. The only wait I experience is if a part needs to be ordered because of my older vehicle. Highly recommend!

Brought my car in at 4:15 and they fixed things up by 4:45 - didn’t upsell me and were incredibly helpful in offering advice. Great place with friendly, highly competent employees. Recommend, especially for any other broke college kids in need of a quick fix!

Service Required: Tire Puncture Patch/Seal Place suggested by my buddy and the good reviews solidified my decision. I left my car in their parking lot, talked to S. Guerrero, gave me a quick rundown at 10am and indicated a 2 hour wait or 2pm appointment option, I chose the 2 hr wait. At 12:44pm, I get their Vehicle Condition Report but was not notified of the tire puncture repair job I wait almost 2 more hours, then check in. I come back at 2pm to see 2 employees in my car, I ask when the car will be finished and am told it's being worked on but the car will not start, I ask to start the car myself and am handed keys that are not the keys I left and tell him, he then returns to the office to get the correct keys. At this time, I notice damage which appear to be caused from a hammer, accompanied by scratches on my driver side passenger door which were not on my car before. The employee returns to tell me my car is all set. I speak with Guerrero and through small talk mentions he takes pictures of all cars that come into the shop, I ask to see pictures on file of my car and the damage had already been present on my door. I ask about the hammer damage and to summarize his response, if someone at the shop had done it, they would take ownership and would have notified me, but [LAMB'S Tire & Automotive] will not take ownership of this damage that was caused on their property. Also that there's no guarantee the tire job will be a done deal. Guerrero maintained a respectful tone throughout our exchange. 4 hours of waiting and my prize is I get to walk away with a damaged car and uncertainty. Incredibly painful experience overall and I have tremendous regret for choosing this location. Would not recommend, if anything happens to your car before they take a picture while it's at there shop, SORRY OUTTA LUCK. *** 1 week update *** To anyone reading, notice the clever wordplay they used: "We will address the issues mentioned" Do not be fooled by the words of this wolf in disguise. Clever wordplay, soft implications, and understandable assumptions leads you to believe they intend to contact the customer since I am the one that experienced the issues, but how long does it take to reach out if the intent was true? Avoid Avoid Avoid.

Have been to Lamb's on N Lamar twice for an oil change, and both have been positive experiences. This last time was the most positive where I was assisted by Rob and Sean. They were able to fit me in on a Monday afternoon, and were very ffriendly.Lamb's regularly runs specials which helps makes services affordable when many other places just aren't. Will continue to come back to Lamb's.
