I am incredibly grateful for the team at this location of Lamb’s Tire & Automotive. They were kind, communicative, patient, and hardworking. Unexpected repairs are always a stressful thing to deal with and I’m not someone who speaks “car” fluently, so it can be especially perplexing. I felt like they always had my best interest at heart, which meant a lot to me. They took the time to explain things to me and put in extra effort to ensure my car was functioning again. I will definitely be back (though hopefully for planned maintenance next time!)

I stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon around 2:30 pm, and was told because they were so busy that I could have a wait for up to 2 hours. I chose not to wait, and asked what is the best time to come, as my time is limited. I was told if I showed up at 8:00 AM they would get me in and out fast. I showed up at 7:45 am and waited to be first in line. When I checked in I was told that I was second in line to be seen, and that someone had left thier car overnight so they were first in line. No big deal, but why wasn't I told that option when I was there the day before? I arrived at 7:45 am, and had to wait until 10:15 am, 2.5 hours!! Even an hour would be pushing it with one car ahead, for a 15-20 minute test! I watched the shop through the waiting room window, and observed 4 mechanics that spent more time laughing and eating their breakfast while the waiting room had 4 or 5 customers waiting. I also watched as customers that were paying for repairs were given priority over myself, and the "first" in line, state inspection only customers. I get it, $11.50 test doesn't pay the bills, but understand that waiting for 2.5 hours for a 20 minute test doesn’t pay my bills either. This is exactly why state testing shops should never be allowed to operate a mechanic shop together as one. You guys didn't respect me or my time, which is why I'm writing this review, and will take my business elsewhere. It ashamed too, I was really hoping to find a shop that I could trust with future automotive work for all my vehicles. This should be a lesson in customer service, because you never know who's looking for a good shop to maintain all of his vehicles. This $11.50 test could have turned into being very profitable. You all need some basic customer service lessons. Customer's, and customer service is what inevitably will determine if you succeed, or fail. Strive to make this your last negative review, and watch things improve. It's also possible that you guys are just too busy to care. If that's the case, its only a matter of time until you see customers, and profit go away. We have tons of options when it comes to auto repair shops. It's a choice to stand out, and be better than someone else.

Love this place! I just went in to get my car checked for standard maintenance. The team was super friendly, helpful, and collaborative. They ran a full check, didn't find anything, and ended up not charging me anything! I really appreciated their thoroughness and honesty! Highly recommend!

Had two vehicles in for winterizing. Went as expected. Did have to wait a bit as lots of other people had the same idea given reports of a several day hard freeze coming.

Just passing through the Austin area. Got a puncture from some debris on the highway. Called these guys up and they got me right in. Everyone was very friendly and ready to sort out the problem. The tire was not repairable so we needed to find a new one. I run an odd size tire on my Tacoma, some tall skinnies. They did their best to get me another of my same tire but it wasn't possible in my timeframe since we are just passing thru. They sourced an equivalent tire of the same size and had it delivered in a few hours. They were able to slow the leak enough that I could drive away and check out Austin while we waited for the new tire to show. I was able to get back there a few mins before the tire was delivered so they were ready to go when it showed up. Got the new tire mounted and balanced and on my way in just a few mins. They were very helpful and friendly. Gave some tips for local good eats. Great group there, would recommend stopping in if you need some service.

While driving to work, I had a tire blow out, I contacted Lambs on Slaughter (SPM). Their response was swift, sending a technician promptly, and I was even given an outstanding deal on two new tires. I would like to thank Michael and Todd for their truly exceptional service. I highly recommend!!

BEWARE, they are thieves. They will take out original car parts and replace with older/rusty parts and then when you notice and go confront them about the issue, they will get defensive and blatantly deny stating it's a "speculation". I will never go here again. I can only imagine what additional items have been taken out, without the customer's knowledge, and stolen from cars. Good riddance, never ever returning.

Dropped my car off for inspection, done WAY faster than I expected, lucky me. Super nice office guys, clean interior lobby. Convenient shopping nearby to kill time if needed. Asked for prices on any recommended work and received brochures with prices handwritten in marker on each, no pressure, good prices too.....'24 update -Another inspection done. This location is as pleasing as an automotive repair place can be. Wish I could add an extra star!

Consistently good and honest service! One of very few shops I've been able to actually trust with my vehicle for various maintenance issues. They won't try to oversell you on anything you don't actually need. Everyone I've interacted with has been professional and friendly especially Todd.

Set an appointment to have my car serviced at 11:00 AM for an oil change and arrived at 10:45 AM to be on time. My car wasn't done until after 2:00 PM. The purpose of an appointment is to have my vehicle serviced at the set time, not 3 hours later. I waited patiently and thank them for the oil and filter change since the quality of work is always good.

I highly recommend this place. Todd and Mike take great care of their customers. They do great oil changes, tire rotation, inspection and tires at a reasonable price. Even on a brand new diesel. Will get you in and out quickly without the hassle. I wish I could give it 10 stars. S
