I read all the good reviews on Yelp. I worked with the owner at King Hybrid Main. He is honest and works with your budget. So excited to have a newer engine in my car. It’s runs like new and I will for sure drive 60 miles from Victorville to get my next tune up. Please if you have a hybrid vehicle call Main. They do everything from the battery to the engine. It feels so good knowing a good and honest mechanic.

I brought my prius here in a panic all my the lights on the dashboard came on, didnt know what was going, but Main took the time to help me out and fix my car (turned out i needed an inverter coolant pump) and ive been bringing my car here ever since

Subj: The Morning 10 Second Engine Shake! Stop kidding yourself. If your engine shakes when you turn your car on in the morning, and the pink coolant is low, you have a bad head gasket. I’ve been taking my car to King of Hybrids for over a year now. They are absolutely legit, and affordable. I have a 2013 Prius with 185,000 miles. My car did the engine rattle during cold start. Took it to King of Hybrids and they confirmed bad head gasket. I went ahead and went with the engine replacement. I was back in the road within a week with a rebuilt engine and a 6 month warranty. I was getting 47mpg and now I’m getting 55mpg. Main (owner) and his team are very professional and will take the time to explain to you the problem, how to fix, and maintain your car.

Main is super knowledgeable and honest. He truly knows everything about cars. We trust him 100% with our hybrid. I recommend Main to all my friends and family. The price is always reasonable and we are very happy with the results.

I brought in a 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid for a check engine light issue. The CEL stated an issue with two areas: 1) P2610 ECM/PCM and 2) P26CA lost communication with voltage to the water pump. Main and his team checked the issue, but it was not related to what the CEL was saying. Instead, they traced the short circuit to a part that open and closes the grill (grill shudders). I am thankful for the care and attention of Main. I would have imagined that any other shop or dealer would have simply replaced the water pump, only to have the issue come back. I am very pleased with the service. I will re-post a few months later with any updates to this review. Thank you!

Main is by far the best mechanic I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. To top it off, he is also completely down to earth. He provides options at a variety of price points, that are well within reason for the work provided. He is honest and has left a positive impression on me. I will be sending anyone I know with a hybrid to this gentleman, and I plan on coming to him with all my car issues for the foreseeable future. Main truly is the King of Hybrids.

The work was done quickly, and my Prius is running better than ever. What I appreciated most was the transparency—there were no surprise charges, and they even showed me the old parts they replaced. After having another shop screw up a TPMS replacement, I actively looked for negative reviews of "The King." I found one, and it read like the customer's expectations might have been unrealistic. So I called and scheduled the drop off of my car Wednesday afternoon and picked it up Friday afternoon. Despite the additional work needed and the holiday weekend, they met the expectation of a 2 day turnaround time. The experience was positive and the owner will give you options when it comes to the repairs needed. Now my CT200h can take steep hills without feeling winded in sport mode. I think Main and his crew will be who handles my car's major service needs.

Needed a battery replacement and programming for my Prius. Most places near me wouldn't work on my car except one mechanic who was clearly trying to price gouge me. I was so lucky I found this shop and was able to take it same day! The owner was very knowledgeable, friendly, and provided an affordable price! I highly recommend this mechanic for any hybrid/EV vehicle needs they're awesome & I'll definitely be coming back.

April 2,2024 I was in desperate need to fix all these lights on my car 🚗 ( Toyota Prius ) ! I had gone to two other mechanics and they could not figure it out 🤦🏽‍♀️ The last person said you need a specialist in Hybrid . So I googled and found the nearest place from my home . I called and spoke to Main ( he was so professional, friendly and caring ) he heard my situation and said can you come now. I got a ride and drove my car to him . From the moment I saw him I knew I had made the right choice ! He inspected the car 🚗 and told me right away what was the issue and how much . He was so kind he knew I needed my car asap and said ( come back in 2.5 hrs and the car will be done ✅) well I did that and went shopping 🛍️ around the area and he called me to tell me my car was ready ! He was honest , fast , he knew what he was doing and they are experts ! Don’t hesitate to come 🙌🙌🙌 you will thank me later ! I will return and recommend him to all my family and friends ! He has earned a customer for sure ! The shop was clean , big parking lot , he stores cars inside so nothing happens to them ! They have a nice waiting area. I was able to pay with my credit card 💳! I own small used car dealer right here in Corona, in the past 2 years I took few EV cars to King of Hybrid for deep complex diagnoses and repair, I wasn't sure at first if they could fix it the right way due to the nature of complexity, and being EV or hybrid cars which not too many shop want to work on it because it's too complex, it requires to have some electronic tech background, but thanks to their professionalism and knowledge my cars got fixed right the first time without any issues with very reasonable price.$$

My Toyota Prius 2013 had knocking for 10 seconds each morning, I went there and they charged me $200 for inspection, and took 5 hours that I was waiting there then a guy named Main came and told me the result that my car had a heat-blown gasket and you need another rebuild engine which cost you $4000. At that time I didn't have that much money and I refused to fix it. It's 4 months since that time I have been driving it and it doesn't give me any problem and it doesn't knock anymore.

My wife’s 2015 Kia Optima Hybrid had an issue with the Hybrid System Warning light going off. Vehicle stopped running. Had it towed to Valley Kia Fontana where they kept the car for 3 weeks only to tell me it would be over $5000 to repair. They said it needed a new hybrid battery and hybrid module. They also charged me $165 for the diagnosis. I decided to call King of Hybrid and spoke with Main who told me that he could do job for $2300. I towed my wife’s car from Kai to his shop in Riverside and I can’t tell you how happy we are. The car was there Friday morning and Main called me that evening and told me the car would be ready for pickup on Saturday. He diagnosed problem, replaced hybrid battery and hybrid module all for $2300. Wow! Not 3-10 weeks! I will continue to bring my wife’s hybrid to him for repair in the future as well as a new hybrid we will be purchasing next year. Call and meet with Main! He knows his stuff! Thank you Main! Solid service. Main and his crew are experts on hybrids. They found the main issue on my 2005 Prius that multiple mechanics missed out on. Their prices were more affordable than the other mechanics. Main and crew treated my Prius as their own car. That is to keep it in tip-top shape to drive as smoothly and as smoothly and as long as possible.

The only place I take my Prius. I trust Main and his mechanics entirely, which is not something I have ever said before. Main (the owner) is an incredibly honest and helpful guy. My first experience with him was me calling regarding a weird noise in my Prius and it not breaking correctly, and he told me right away is the the ABS Actuator, low and behold, it was the ABS Actuator once we got to it. They have knowledge of these systems and I trust them entirely.

These guys are the best hybrid repair people you could ever find in Southern California. I've owned hybrids for more than 11 years now and there is no other place I would bring my hybrid cars except to this place. I have been to so many other places and they are either incompetent or dishonest. This place is both honest and also very competent in handling your hybrid repair needs. they really go above and beyond for their customers. I can't say enough good things about this. They have friendly service and are prompt. Don't bring your car to any other place except at this place if you have a hybrid.
