Kim's is great! We have been going there since moving to Fairfax, when any of our cars need fixed. The last time involved replacing all four brakes and rotors, which was ready for pickup by mid-day. I have always received prompt and complete service, and will continue to use Kim's for all our auto repairs.

Mr. Kim is an excellent mechanic. He’s worked on our Hyundai Santa Fe and our Audi A4. He’s very knowledgeable, honest and well priced. His key value is that he will never suggest doing any unnecessary work. So far we’ve done Brakes, Oil Changes, and AC repairs. Highly recommended

Mr. Kim is the best! FIgured it was time I updated this. Mr. Kim is still the best, and he has been taking care of our cars and those of four or five family members for more than 20 years. I'm guessing that's over 500,000 miles worth of service👍

UPDATE: Still love going to Kim’s, they always complete everything perfectly. Please consider going here, they’re more professional and cheaper than anything else out there. Other places might try to scam you by throwing the parts cannon or “replacing parts” that are actually good, Kim’s wont do that to you. I’ve been taking my car there for three years now, since they are way more honest and reasonably priced than the dealership shops. I always trust them with my car, since they do a great job with their work.

It should not have taken me this long to write a review. My family and I have been brining our vehicles to Mr Kim and team for 20+ years. I recommend him to all family and friends who need a trusted, non-dealership option. And despite no longer living in Annandale, I still go out of my way for his expert opinion, classy service - and to see an old familiar face. Always a joy to bring a car to Mr Kim for service because I know he values integrity, honesty, and loyalty. A true gem in fairfax. Wish him all the best - and many more years of success.

We got an oil change here. Although we showed up without a reservation, they were able to squeeze me in and their service was quick reasonably priced.

Went with this shop because of the reviews, I had a engine problem. They checked I don't think they took more than 15 mins for a diagnostic and turned out "I needed a new engine" I trusted them and bought an used engine wich they "ordered" paid almost 5k for the engine and service for it to start doing the same exact problem my old engine did i called the shop all they had to say was sorry this happened. This time I took it to the dealership turned out the problem got fixed by just replacing some electrical parts and spark plugs. Dealer told me a couple of spark plugs were burned out and that whoever worked on it before seem to not have replaced em or the electric parts that were malfunctioning. There is no way it was a different issue from my last engine because it had the same exact symptoms. I feel I got taken advantage of and definitely not going there again
