This place does excellent work. They have good customer service and I am happy I took my truck there. They fixed my truck in one day and I was able to drive it to work the next day. It has been running well ever since. So happy!!

Great job at a really great price! I had a major issue with my car and needed to get into a garage ASAP. They were able to squeeze me in on a Saturday when every other mechanic was booked. I had a leaking valve cover gasket, needed new coils, and a complete tuneup. Other mechanics were quoting at unreal prices. But these guys did it at half the price. Finished the job that afternoon(And offered to work on Sunday if it took longer) and had me out the door with my car running excellent! Down to earth good people work here. I would definitely come back!

Had a problem with my blend door actuator. Took it in to midas and they quoted me 3500 to get it fixed!! Called up KnH and they told me to bring it in, they did a free diagnostic and had the car ready by the end of the day and only charged me 600. Great communication throughout the process. After googling "repair shops near me," I came across K&H. Reviews showed positive experiences from others so I decided to give them a try. I called on a Saturday at 2pm in hopes to get an appt the following week for brake replacements and an oil change. However to my surprise they were able to get me in right away. I was weary about not having my car back before closing due to needing it that evening, but they assured me that they would have it done and would work outside of their general hours, if necessary, to fulfill that guarantee - Which they did! I had my car back by 6pm. All staff that I encountered were super friendly and helpful for any future repairs that I should keep track on. I will be returning to this shop and will also recommend it to others!

This family shop was amazing. They were the closest shop to me that was open on a Sunday and they walked me through the initial troubleshooting then offered to stay open late to meet me after work. They were really patient and kind while they walked me through the process and I'm really grateful for all of their help.

Worked with K&H twice now and had GREAT experiences on both occasions. First time was quoted at nearly $1000 less than other body shops for a bumper repair. They were able to confidently reattach and fix up the existing bumper whereas everyone else I talked to insisted they'd need to replace the bumper along with a laundry list of associated parts. Second time they were able to squeeze me in on short notice for some fan maintenance. Once again they were very flexible and accommodating. Service is always timely, friendly, and very competitively priced. Highly recommended.

I recently had some starter problems in my car. (Honda civic). Knew I needed to get it fixed so I started to call around to different mechanics. I must have called at least six mechanics and not a single one answered the phone. I called K&H and they also didn’t answer, but they called me right back to ask me if I had just called. Since they were the first mechanic to finally answer the phone and talk to me, I went ahead and brought my car out to them to see what we needed to do. I brought my car over on a Thursday and had it back on Saturday for a very reasonable price to have a starter replaced, and everyone at the shop was extremely kind, welcoming, and professional. I had a great experience at the shop and I highly recommend checking them out.

Super nice and fair pricing! It's been a while since I visited a mechanic shop as a woman without feeling taken advantage of or having repairs done properly. I’m newer to Portland and K&H was a pleasant surprise. Their estimate and invoice system made it easy and efficient to navigate through the necessary repairs and the price breakdown. I truly appreciated the transparency in their process. The convenience of that system alone is reason enough for me to return. I’m happy to have found a safe place to take my car now. I highly recommend K&H for anyone looking for trustworthy and professional car repairs.

The staff at K and H auto shop were great! We found ourselves in a predicament when we were taking our daughter back to college in Portland, and our Mitsubishi died in a parking garage downtown. This was on a Sunday morning, and K and H was not only able to get us in on a Sunday, diagnose the problem and fix the problem. They went out of their way to get the correct part when the wrong part was delivered to them and we were still able to get back home to Washington state after dropping off our daughter on Sunday.!

I genuinely cannot put into words just how much these guys came in clutch when it came to fixing my car on short notice first thing in the morning. I was traveling from out of state to get my recently deceased father’s ashes/belongings, and my vans starter went out the night before our trip up to Longview WA. I was really stressed out, because it was midnight and the next day was Sunday, when most auto shops are closed. Out of all of the shops that were open this had the best reviews. So I frantically called them 15 minutes before they even opened, praying I would get an answer. The guy who picked up the phone was awesome and immediately offered to help us out, and told me they would meet me as soon as I got there to get the van fixed in time for me to still be able to get my dads things in time. I forgot to mention that Sunday was my last day, and I was supposed to return back to work on Monday. I have to say, they went above and beyond. They fixed my van in a couple hours, and also told us about some issues we hadn’t even known we had. When we left, I felt very happy and satisfied and felt I had made the right decision. They were so nice, and that helped a lot with the stress I was dealing with. The least I can do is leave them a good review, and highly recommend them to anyone who see going through reviews of all the auto shops in the area, trying to make the decision of what mechanic to take their car to. 10/10 these guys will get you taken care of and will not take advantage of you.

K and H was able to get me in the following day and I am so pleased with their communication, care and service. Abdul communicated with me through the entire process and kept the repair to my car very affordable. All the employees seemed very happy when I went to pick up my car and Adbul seems like a great person to work for. I will definitely be back to K&H and will refer friends and family to this shop! Tl;dr these guys saved me $500, did a great job with my car, and are super chill. 100% will never go to a different mechanic shop in Portland. I’d gone to a dealership for a product recall and the mechanic there quoted me over $1000 for additional “necessary and urgent” repairs, so I panicked and called this shop because I saw they had good reviews. I’ve had some awful experiences with mechanics and I’m always hesitant, but here I felt so comfortable, heard, and validated. They were up-front and honest about what repairs were actually needed, and then charged me an extremely reasonable price- about $500 less than the dealership would have. I went back the next week for an oil change, which took about 30 mins. Thanks y’all, seriously.

I am delighted to write this glowing review for K&H . I was in a hell of a Jam as I was driving into Portland for work, when an old issue on my car flared up and could not wait to be fixed anymore. I was nervous about finding someplace, I was only in town for the week for work and none of my friends in the area had a recommendation for a good mechanic. Plus, it was the Sunday before Xmas so I new a lot of places were not going to be open. Fortunately, the one I found that was open, was great! The fellas at K&H gave me a quick and through diagnosis and estimate quote, by the time I was driving in I knew probably what was wrong, and about how much it would be to fix. They had diagnosed the car the same as the last time I had this same issue and had my last trusted mechanic fix what I could afford at the time. So I knew they were on the right track. They stayed very close to the very reasonable estimate they gave me over the phone. Plus, they had my car ready the very next day! Their quick customer service and great communication made it so I could get this taken care of extremely quicky, so it didn’t even interrupt my ability to work, even on a holiday week. K&H really helped me out in a stressful situation, and also have given me great peace of mind. I had to drive back home through a storm that week. Before these repairs, I would not have been able to do that. Because of K&Hs’ prompt service and quality work, I was able to get home safely with minimal stress. Thank you again K&H! Highly Recommended to anyone in the Portland area!

I wish the owner of this place was my local mechanic. Passing through town on a Sunday with a broken thermostat control valve. I'm in a crunch. He diagnosed the issue, walked me through what needed to be fixed and sent me to the dealership to have them fix it as he assused me it would be under warranty and would cost me nothing. He then sent me on my way without charging me. Freaking dude is awesome and honest. Like I say wish he was my local guy!

Ollie is the best. It was pouring rain, our windshield wipers were shot, and we didn't know how to replace them. On a Sunday morning before the shop was opened Ollie arrived to replace the wipers. He was extremely helpful and courteous and professional. Kind of guy that gives you faith in humanity. Take your car repair business to K & H Auto Repair! You can't do any better!!

After a crazy $1200 diagnosis quote from les schwab , I do a lil google research and saw this place had only 5 star reviews so i took a chance. As a woman who doesn't know anything about cars i'm very weary about going to shops i've never been / wasn't a recommendation bc of a high risk of getting scammed. I went here for just my breaks and they even did a whole checkup on my car and fixed a few other things i knew it was prob time to get done, that led schwab couldn't do. I got more done here then i even got quoted for in the first place and i left k&h auto with a fully fixed car for only $700!!! The work they did was honest and fast. They got everything and more done in less than 7 hours AND saved me a few hundred bucks! All of the mechanics were extremely nice and even explained everything they did and go over it all before you even swipe your card. I am definitely only going here from now on to get any work done on my car. Your journey for an honest shop ends here because you FOUND IT :)
