I took My truck to get a oil change and a tire plugged it had a screw in it. I call up there to check to see if my truck was done It's was. I asked did you get my tire fixed also l was told no because my rims was to big so they couldn't balance it that was ok I was fine with that but why pull the screw out the tire and let my wife drive my truck home with air coming out. Truck broke down on the side of the road i had to go and buy tire plugs and air compressor

Went into the store on 1/29/25 and scheduled an appointment for 1/30/25 at 0930. As I was being scheduled I was told that there were 3 other oil changes before me but they started at 0800. Arrived a half hour before my appointment to check in and was told that they are running a little behind, no big deal. Sat in the waiting room with 2 other people that were waiting on their vehicles. For hour and a half none of us left the waiting room and my car was still sitting out where I parked it. I didn't realize that running behind meant waiting for more than 1 1/2 hours. I asked for me key, got in my car and left. Since they changed management this store has gone downhill as far as customer service. I will find another place to buy tires and oil changes!!

Said they had a battery and could install it in an hour. An hour and a half later I had to ask if my car was ready, they didn't have a battery and just ordered one. $370 for a $225 battery

Didn't have a problem with my axel when I drove in to purchase 2 new tires. The moment I drove away from ken towry my axel is making noises. Fix whatever the issue is that you caused.

I had a noon appointment for a simple oil change. They kept me there for over 3 hours. I did not ask them to check my brakes or rotate my tires. I had just gotten my tires rotated 3 days earlier! They put my tires back the way they had been before. Now I will have to pay someone else to fix what they had no business touching. Oh, and they also told me I “need” $1,700. in repairs. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Avoid at all costs. If your tire is over 5 years old, they will insist you need new tires, regardless of the condition they're in. 10 years I could understand; 5 years is a scam. Don't fall for it. If your tires are less than 10 years old, have plenty of tread, and the rubber is in good condition, you don't need new tires.

Chris the sales representative was very helpful in recommending me a tire that I had a flat on and also the spare tire as well. They didn’t try to sell me the most expensive tire but sold me the best tire for my application and driving habits. Very helpful. Thanks.

I Had a appointment for 2:00 pm for a oil change and tire rotation. I dropped it off expecting to get a call around a 30 mins or a hour but no call after 2 and half hours. I had to call up there the first time they told me that it was going to take a other 30 mins or hour to complete a oil change and rotation, this was 3 and half hours at this point and when I went back to check on my car 30 mins til closing they told me that a OIL CHANGE AND ROTATION had to be completed tomorrow first thing in the morning and they'll give me a call when they complete it. This is just down right ridiculous!!! . AND I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK FOR NOTHING!!!

I needed a tire rotation and oil change. I also asked Greg the Manager at my local Ken Towery Auto care location to check my brakes since it has been a good while since I had them serviced. It turned out that I needed a full brake job. They got the job done in the time promised. Flushed my old brake fluid, replaced with new. The tire rotation was free with the oil change. I am very happy with the Ken Towery experience.

Took 4 hours for an oil changed, I let that slide. It happens and they were nice. But the fact they didn’t use weather appropriate washer fluid on my fluid change was unacceptable. Had no washer fluid on my 1400 mile trip because it’s froze up. I NEVER use standard fluid for this reason in winter. Had I known they would use a substandard fluid for this weather (the most important time of year) I would have told them to hold off. Now I have to wait for it to warm up to drain this out. Horrible. Every 100 miles had to stop in a snow storm to clear it off. This could put people at risk.

The guy who drove my car onto the alignment rack was nice and cool but slipped my clutch eat more then needed. The employee T, she was dope and great to have conversation with very understanding and great performing and worker all around🫡

Brought my vehicle in for an alignment check. These people intentionally damaged my vehicle to charge me more money! They told me I'd have to come back because they needed parts to do an alignment. When I drove my truck out of the parking lot the alignment was way worse than when I drove it in. Apparently these shysters made sure my alignment was out of wack worse than when I drove it in so I would come back. Either that or they had absolutely no idea what they were doing and screwed the truck up even worse than it was. Either way it's never going back in that shop. The mechanic came up to the desk while I was there and was complaining about his supervisor constantly scheduling him for days he doesn't want to work and he appeared to have zero interest in actually doing any work at the shop. He then complained that it takes months for him to get paid for the work he does. This tells me that the location is paying their staff as contractors and not actual employees which means they are incentivized to screw your car up worse than it already is. The last thing he told me was "you know that's going to chew up your tires" after I told him I was leaving for a road trip near the Great Lakes tomorrow morning and asked if it would be safe to drive like that. After driving out of the parking lot and realizing that the alignment was a hundred times worse than it was when I drove in I really think he was trying to force me to buy four new tires because they rescheduled my appointment to Thursday. Absolute scam!!! Every experience I've ever had with any Ken Towery location has been horrible. After 4 or 5 years of not using them for anything and then trying them again now they are still horrible. Some random homeless guy working on your car in a parking lot would be better than the miserable, shady experience I had here.

Excellent customer service. Quick and reasonable with everything going up. Not sure of the negative feedback which center they went to but I went to Hurstbourne. Didn’t feel comfortable with the one on Fern Valley.

Had to point out something was in my tire even after they said there was nothing wrong. Didn’t tighten lug nuts all the way.

Driver side tires wasn’t rotated. Last visit they did not put the right amount of oil after the oil change. Gave one more shot and we couldn’t get it right. Unfortunately, I have to call it quits with this location and/or company.

Have been going to Ken Towery on Hurstbourne Lane about 10 years. They have always been very helpful and kind. They don’t try to sell me things I don’t need. I really appreciate them.

They are very professional and pleasant. Started on my car on time of my appt and let me know I needed my ac filter changed and I had them do it. He said I would feel a difference with my ac and he was correct! This is my go-to place for all my cars needs

I came to get my oil change and tire fixed, I ended up having to get a new tire, the tire placed on my car was 2 sizes too big, Greg at the hourstbourne location had to call the technician back because he sent them home at 330, so I waited an hour on someone to come back to fix my tire, when I finally got back in my car and started it my engine was making a ticking sound that it has never made. My car has been back at the ken towery on bardstown road now twice this week because it keeps getting worse. I am now out of a car for the time being and am extremely inconvenienced and having to spend more money then what I have to spend after spending 300+ dollars and my car is in worse shape then it has ever been. I am extremely upset and fearful for how this damage to my vehicle will impact my life

I bought a full set of tires from them and now get a tire rotation free whenever I get an oil change. Their cost was less than at the dealer.
