Thank you all for your in depth service and review on my 2007 Forrester. As good of a vehicle that it has been for me, I just can’t justify investing the amount required to bring it back into great condition. I’m choosing to sell or trade it.

We scheduled our VW Atlas for an oil change and to look at a slow antifreeze leak on Friday, Jan 10th. We only have one vehicle so Kaufman’ drove us home as their loaner vehicle was out of service. Kaufman’s called us later that day to tell us that both water pumps failed and gave us a quote. We hesitated as we had no vehicle and the quote was high in our opinion. We also were charged for two antifreeze fills after we had just filled it up a few days before. They reasoned that they had to do a pressure test and then to refill it after the water pump is installed? We did decide to have the work done since the shop already had our vehicle. We were told the parts would most likely be in on the following Tuesday. We received a text on Monday that the parts wouldn’t be in till Thursday. I asked if we could have the car in the meantime and Kaufman’s advised it was not safe to drive the car and recommended we rent a car from Enterprise and gave us the phone number. Then I received an updated quote that was $90 more than the original one. I called to ask why and they said they put the car back together and added a part to allow us to have the car back. I never said I wanted the car back after it was suggested to get a rental car. They removed the additional charge. We did get the car back on Wednesday instead of Thursday. I will not be using Kaufman’s for my vehicles in the future.

Awesome experience here. It's a tough task to satisfy someone going through car troubles, but Sabrina and Roger were able to get my car in the same day I called, have it fully diagnosed 2 days earlier than expected, and had the work completed by the day my appointment was initially set for. Shop is clean, people are knowledgeable and kind!

Very friendly and efficient staff. Got an appointment at 8:00am the next day. Roger ran a test on the car within minutes. We left the car and got an email a couple hours later with work to be done with an accurate estimate. Picked the car up around 4:00pm. We will be bringing both of our autos to Kaufman's in the future. Highly recommend this auto shop.
