I’ve hired both the West Maize and the 21st & Amidon Kansasland mechanics over the years and just feel like it’s not worth the distrust. The 21st & Amidon location installed a full new set of tires on my vehicle within the last year and I bought the tire protection plan along with them. One of the tires had something another mechanic described as “something I’d never seen before” which you never want to hear - strips of plastic that were melded into the sidewall of the tire that when pulled out left gashes in the rubber as pictured. This seemed like a manufacturer’s defect that shouldn’t be on Kansasland or me, but when I went in asking to see if this tire could be replaced under the protection plan I was told it was not a concern. They replaced the valve core for free, which if it was an issue I appreciate, but seemed very dismissive about the cracks. I don’t know if it’s a deep safety concern, but I didn’t want to have to feel doubtful of what has been basically a brand new tire. Still hoping to find a reliable place in Wichita!

They are Simply The Best! They take care so you don't feel like a number, even though they are always Busy. I think the world of them. I'm so glad my friend Bob who used to own KBS Motors where I always went, recommended them 💕

Dropped my vehicle off for the day to have it aligned. Sorta inconvenient that they don’t schedule appointments because this type of work should only take about an hour. Asked for a printout of specs when the job was completed and was told they don’t provide that. After driving the vehicle for a day or so I noticed it was pulling to the right consistently. I have 4 new tires on it and the front end has been completely rebuilt. It should not pull to the side like it does. I’m sure they will correct the problem as they have been very polite and professional at the front counter, just not sure what’s going on in the shop to make this sorta mistake or preform shoddy work like they did. 3 stars for the headache is my honest review.

May not be the cheapest in town but you get what you pay for. They were friendly, direct and willing to get you as many discounts as they could.

Took my car there to get my tire looked at since it kept losing air, waited for over an hour which is fine but they ended up telling me my tire was fine and couldn’t find anything and put more air in it and sent me on my way but couple hours later my tire was going flat again and I could hear the air coming out somewhere from the tire. The guy at the desk was really nice but I’m disappointed and I’m now having to take my car somewhere else to get my tire looked at again.

Highly Recommend! They saved me over $1200 by looking at my brakes and noting my break pads were good and that what I really needed was a new sensor. Good people!

I've used this company and this location in Wichita 21st and Amidon in the past for my mom's car for services as I previously posted I've been having my oil changed there now for almost a year, bought some tires great service hands down! Recently in June it was discovered that I had an oil leak they advised me what needed to be done and it took me a minute to get over there because of my work hours and they're on the west side of town and I work East and one of my brothers suggested that I get a second opinion and I did and the place where I went to get that second opinion tried to charge me and would have charged me five times what I paid for this service I took my car in about 3 weeks ago or a month ago had the service done Top Notch service hands down! They took care of me and my car no games no overpricing that's what you call customer service!!! And you can believe I have and will continue to refer individuals to this location and I will continue to come here too thank you to the office staff and the mechanics that have continued to provide me with a positive experience!!!!

They got me in and out for a nail puncture in less than an hour, and on a Saturday no less. I paid 36.40 for the labor and parts. Overall I am very pleased with the services offered.

This is a great place with honest people. I don't nothing about cars. They always let me know possibilities of additional work in advance but they don't just do it. Only when it is actually needed.

Took my Jeep Commander in for check engine light and a/c check. Rick and his crew did a top notch job. Really appreciate the dedication to vehicle and customer service. As a side note, the restrooms need a bit of tlc. To be honest, when your best work is where it's supposed to be, having an outside cleaning crew would be best.

Took my car in because, tire had slow leak and they quickly put a plug in it and gave me a very reasonable price on four new tires when the car was ready. Six months later I brought the car back needing to fix same tire they had plugged. However they told me it had a bubble now and was not repairable and I needed four new tires at a completely outrageous price. Removed car as fast as possible and took to Tires Plus who was happy to take care of my needs. Never doing business with this company again.
