I Went for a damaged bolt removal and a front tire install. When I got home the 4 bolts under the fork were very loose. So I decided to check everything they touch. The front Axel bolt was so tight. I could not loosen it up. I had to go back and have them do it. Always check after picking up!!! And by the way. No apologies from any of the staff when I went back.

My go-to for my Honda Helix and one of the few, if not the only, places in the city able to provide a brake/light inspection on my Helix for the DMV. The business is about as old school SF as you could hope for; an honest breath of fresh air. They are fair with their prices, deliver high quality work, and have always been kind and gone out of their way to finish repairs quickly and explain the process involved. Christina (hope I remembered her name correctly) is incredibly organized and communicative. On my last visit, Danny (one of the technicians) really went the extra mile on my behalf. Highly recommend!

Good people. I used to go here when Stephs dad owned the shop. Good thing it's still under good leadership and I'm always happy to see Dave there. Changed a clutch slave cylinder and couldn't get the clutch bled correctly. They handled that for me and it took less then a day after I dropped it off.

Motorcycle tire service, parts & accessories. I've been taking my bikes to K.C. Engineering for many years for tires. They stock popular sizes and brands and have most others delivered within 24hrs. They offer a cash discount and can usually accommodate walk-in service, although, an appointment is preferred. Stephanie is doing an excellent job running the shop, her dad would be proud! To the n00b whining about a $140 puncture repair. A blowout on a motorcycle at 70 mph can be fatal. The proper and safest puncture repair on a motorcycle tire is to apply a patch to the inside surface which requires removal (or partial removal) of the tire. It's unlikely any reputable tire shop will send you out the door with a plug repair in your tire. Please understand what you are talking about before posting negative reviews based on ignorance.

I recently bought a 2003 Buell Blast. It has low miles and was very reasonably priced. The only drawback was trying to find a repair shop willing to work on such an obscure make and model. However, the folks at KC Engineering didn't hesitate. Not only did they agree to work on it (a thorough tune up and inspection), they did it quickly and at a reasonable price. They are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Like any other rider, I hope to keep my motorcycle out of the shop...but when I absolutely have to take it to one, I'm taking it to KC Engineering. Thank you guys!

They've got tires, and lots of 'em. In and out is easy, staff are friendly and will talk to you about what's going on. Love the atmosphere of the place--it FEELS like a motorcycle shop. Sometimes I get the feeling that they're not 100% straightforward, and sometimes need to negotiate on the price of a tire, but by and large that adds to the experience.

Took my bike there thinking i would leave it with them until fixed which was discussed over the phone and we drove 2 hours and she said she couldn’t keep the bike and i’ve been waiting over a month for my estimate which i still haven’t received even with multiple reminders and calls the reply’s i’ve received are i’m sending it right now and almost two months later still no estimate definitely do not recommend save yourself the time and stress

They sell good tires, but I give them 3 stars because they don't balance the tire and they tell you that if they did, I had to take her to another shop to go elsewhere to do it and pay more.
