Not gonna lie, the prices here are a tad outrageous. I went here because I heard pricing was fair, but $200 for the diagnostics is out the wazoo. They wanted nearly $600 for radiator hose replacements ($175 for parts and $350 for the labor), and about $360 for thermostat replacement (parts $100 and labor $260) as well. Just being transparent, take this as you will. My car is on its last leg too, so that could factor into the price. Regardless of the pricing, the service was good. The front desk dude was a little bit salesman-esque pushy with me about leaving my car with them (which okay I get it, but the attitude could’ve been left out lol), but the servicer he set me up with has been wonderful. Ele has been completely transparent with me the whole way through, and she’s really helped me figure out what’s been going on, even gave me advice on next steps since my car’s pretty much seeing the end of its life. Just a really lovely person, easy to talk to and communicate with, and very much accommodating to my current budget. Prices weren’t adjusted, but when I expressed I’d only be able to do around $600 of the $1600 in repairs they were asking me to do, she didn’t push anything at all and told me that it was perfectly fine. Jorge did a very thorough inspection of my vehicle, which makes me eager to say I was happy to pay a diagnostic fee, but $200 was just a little shocking to me. It’s on the sign-in paper though, so I guess I should’ve seen it coming. Pricing and budget issues aside, I did like working with Juke Auto. The atmosphere was neat, a variety of folks with all sorts of backgrounds really made for a welcoming experience. I’m glad they’re paying their employees so well with these labor costs, but I likely won’t be back just because it’s extremely out of my budget. Still, if you don’t mind splurging a little in the name of great, straightforward communication, I’d say it miiiiight be worth it. Maybe just get your codes read at AutoZone and bring it over lol.

Absolutely incredible experience! They were flexible with scheduling, quick to answer phones, and prompt with service. All the staff members are so friendly and patient! I loved my experience with Bo who answered my silly questions thoroughly and with compassion and kindness. Everyone was just so helpful and nice, I will definitely be using Juke as my go to for auto needs :-)

Been taking my truck here for years, and she still runs great with 100,000+ miles under her hood. This week I took her in for a regular checkup, oil change, etc. Normally Juke Auto gives me a ride back to my house but I don't think their driver had showed up yet and my LYFT app was in the twilight zone. The OWNER offered to give me a ride home and we had a very pleasant conversation during the ride. Juke Auto offers great customer service as well as take great care of vehicles!

Everybody's top notch very knowledgeable, flexible. Mike, the mechanic is a genius. He fixed my car right the first time! Update: I had the opportunity of meeting the owner of the company (Juke) and just a downright good guy to talk to. Very humble. Very nice. Very in tune with the conversation to understand what you need to help you with your vehicle. This is the only company that I recommend taking my vehicle and referring to my friends and family.

I came here because the review were good and I wanted a safe and trusted option for my oil change on my Cadillac. I waited 2hrs and 40mins for my oil change while it seemed like all 5 people in the office had no idea what the status of my car was. While they ate food and knitted. Disappointed with customer service for $144 dollars premium product.

I just want to say this is the best, honest, and friendly service center in Austin. The Ford dealership (Calver Ford) was taking advantage of elderly VETERAN dad. I am so happy I was leaving Dan’s Hamburgers and looked up and saw Juke Automotive. I immediately went online to read the reviews to see if it’s some where I would feel comfortable taking my father’s truck. The reviews were AMAZING, and I attest to every good word spoken. Bo was amazing and honest and I’m thankful for him and Juke Automotive. I HIGHLY recommend anyone looking for an honest and reputable place to take your vehicle, take it here. Going to an auto shop is bit of a leap of faith, but the folks at Juke were amazing all around. I took my car in thinking it had what could be a fairly big electrical problem, it turned out to be much more minor and they got it diagnosed and fixed the same day. I am happy to have a shop I can go to if I have more issues. Good folks.

I have known Juke for more than a decade and have long trusted he and his crew with servicing my vehicles. A few years ago, I moved away from the Austin, Texas area, but recently returned with my Toyota Landcruiser during a road trip from Maine to Texas to visit family for the holidays. Matt, Jensen, and Juke helped me out of a jam and provided stellar service once again as multiple lights on the dash were appearing apparently due to an ABS pump failure. One new master cylinder and ABS pump later, the old LC, my dog and I safely returned to New England without a hitch only a few days after service. I will always be grateful for the friends that I made while living in the Texas Hill Country for those 15 years, and can honestly recommend Juke Auto to service your family vehicle with care.

Just adding to my previous 5 star review I still give Juke Auto years later! I cannot say enough complimentary things about them. They are the best of the best! I know when I take my car there that my car is in good hands. They are transparent, genuine, caring and conscientious. I love that they take pictures to share with me of needed work, discuss options and sometimes offer suggestions for dyi things that might even save me a little money. I trust them wholeheartedly to always do what’s in my best interest for my safety the safety of my car and to keep my car running at its best at all times. As we all know car repairs are not ever cheap but I think they make effort to be competitive in their pricing. I know they are not building a ticket of unnecessary repairs and trust in them to only do what is necessary unlike some shops I have read about on the internet. I never have to worry about that with Juke!

Update again... Still the place to come! I've had a recurring issue for 10years. Jukes found the root cause..o m gosh a thumbtack in the evap box...it was a first for them too! Again, THE BEST..ty! Update...3 years later, and my review is still true! Come here if you want honest car service from people who listen and care. Love LOVE me some Juke's!! I've been coming here for close to 7 years from word of mouth from a 65yr old lady! I have Always gotten a square deal, and like the other reviewer, they have saved me from a dealership 300% mark up. I especially like when they say I saw this but it can wait. I have watched them grow while maintaining a family owned business. To me, that's tricky when your overhead prob quadrupled. This time I came with a laundry list with the intent to extend my car 50K miles. They hooked me up! Thank you Again :-) P.s.I sure enjoy my yearly Christmas card.

A few days before my family and I embarked on a Thanksgiving roadtrip, my car started making concerning noises. I’ve used Juke for a handful of repairs and couldn’t be more thankful for an honest and fairly priced shop. Miguel, my Service Advisor, is so helpful when explaining the issues and costs. I always know that I’m addressing things that actually NEED to be done and that I’m in good hands. Everyone from reception staff to technicians are knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend! EDIT: had another round of repairs at Juke recently and received the same care and service. Cant recommend this place enough if you’re in Central or East Austin.

We brought our car in because it's old and rickety. We wanted a clear picture of what repairs are necessary to determine how long we have to find a new car. Charles did an amazing job identifying the parts with issues and articulating their condition and what it means in terms of functionality and safety. What also helped were all of the videos and pictures Charles provided so we can actually see the issues with our own eyes. I've brought that car to the Toyota dealership many times and never got anywhere near this quality of service! The recommendations from Juke were sound and the prices were fair. The work we decided to pursue was done quickly and the communication was timely. Thank you for being a company that we can trust!
