In May of 2023, I brought my awesome, 1987 Lincoln Towncar to Juan for an overall check up. Altho the old car was running fine, it seemed as if it might need some tweaking re: brakes, gear shifting, and a.c. In response to these concerns, which I expressed to Juan -- who was recommended to me by a trusted friend in Sarasota -- Juan told me that he would take a look at the car and let me know what was needed, if anything. I left it with him for an afternoon, and when I came to retrieve the car, the same day, Juan told me that he had ordered parts for the car's brakes, gear shift, and a.c. -- the same issues that I had mentioned to him. I had the impression that he had not examined the car as he had promised to do but had, instead, made assumptions based on what I mentioned to him about the car when I left it with him. Meanwhile, howev, Juan -- a handsome, charming man -- told me that the parts he had ordered for my car should arrive at his shop in the coming week. I, therefore, drove away that afternoon trusting, so very mistakenly, in what Juan told me. But the following week came and went with no call from Juan. And neither Juan nor anyone at his shop responded, ever, to inquiries I left in voice messages. I won't be back to Juan's automotive repair shop, and I recommend that anyone who values their own time -- and their vehicle -- steer clear of charming, deceitful Juan.

Good trusting people with good customer service. Alan helped me out. His dad is very welcoming and nice. I thought my sun roof was defected but it wasn't. Although I didn't get my car service, he was able to diagnose the issue. I appreciate the time and patience taken out of their busy schedule to accommodate me. I recommend Juan's Auto repair. My family has been using Juan's for years on all cars, new and old. I have never trusted the opinion of a technician more than him. If something doesn't need to be replaced, he'll let you know how long you can go on it. If it does need to be replaced, he'll get you the fairest price in town.

Battery died and AAA came to jump start it as it was an original AAA,6 year warrantied battery ,still under their warranty,which in the end,they did NOT stand by,and their tech told me i had a dead alternator and not the battery but i would need a 2nd guy that tows to come out and tow it.i had it towed to Juans Auto Repair and he assessed it immed.and said it WAS the battery and NOT the alternator.He replaced the battery that same day and it has been working fine ever since!!cancelling AAA!!..highly recommend Juans Auto Repair.he is honest and will save you money and aggravation! Just no waiting room..but its totally the trade off

For decades Juan's has been by far the best place ever. Especially when you have a high end car and the dealership can't fix it and wants a fortune to try to. Juan takes the time to figure it out when no one else could. Honesty and fare prices is hard to find in this town Especially when you need an Acura NSX fixed.

His lot may be the size of a postage stamp but his service is top shelf and worthy of a great review. After going to a chain repair shop sending hundreds of dollars with no results, Juan steppes right in and did the job for a fraction of what those skyjackers charges me. 😎
