I brought my car in for a host of reasons and the entire staff was super helpful and polite. They were very good at keeping me updated on the status of my car through the entire repair period. They fixed what needed and never tried to upsell one time. They are honest and good at their job. My car runs great and all the problems were fixed. I would absolutely recommend John’s Automotive Care for all of your car needs.

Like my first visit, on my second visit I was very well taken care of. 1. I was given a courtesy ride home. 2 They told me that my suspected oil leak was barely noticeable and not worth the cost of repairing at this time. 3. And they honored my coupon I received in the mail. How you can top that I don't know but I'll when the time comes I'll be back for a third visit. DC

Very friendly, very professional. The establishment is nice, clean and inviting with snacks and drinks and they even have little gifts for the kiddos! They are fair and honest and always happy to help. They are quick with the work as well. I bring in our company trucks here and these guys are awesome. Thank you!

Friendly Staff and accurate with their timeline for the repairs. They have lock boxes for keys for picking your car up after hours if you are not available when it is initially done. Their online portal is expansive and shows you recommended fixes with pictures and descriptions of the problems they find during their inspection. Thanks!

I found John’s Auto Repair through an agent with AAA so I knew it was a well credited shop. I met Dave at the front desk and he was very welcoming and easy going. My car needed new breaks and once it got serviced it felt safe driving it again! I will be moving all my car repairs and maintenance to John’s auto repair. They are very professional and efficient

It seems like John’s Automotive is our only mechanics, and we live in St. Louis! We come to San Diego every winter in our rv towing our Jeep. There’s usually something to repair so I drop it off and eat at Denny’s on the walk back to the coach. I’ve had good luck with this business, why change.

Quick and thorough 1 day in and out service on the day before XMAS. Plus, when my wife and I picked the car, they filled up our windshield wiper reservoir and checked tire pressures @ no charge on our 2nd vehicle, which we were taking on a short trip to see family. We felt like VIP's . . .not an unusual experience with our Serv. Rep Aaron and the entire staff at John's Automotive!

Highly recommend this shop. They do a thruel job in inspecting the vehicle. They also provide photos with their inspections and they work quickly and efficiently. I was impressed by their work. Hard to come across good mechanics nowadays. Highly recommended.

I brought my Jeep in for a check engine light, and worked with Rick and Dave. They were professional, friendly, and easy to communicate with! They explained what was needed to fix the without making me feel pressured to repair other issues I need to repair in the near future, and took their time to explain how the systems were connected. Overall a trustworthy, very positive, experience! I’ll be back for future auto care.

I was referred to John’s automotive San Diego by a friend to get my Lexus headlight fixed. Arron was so friendly and responsive and got me in right away. They fixed my light quickly, even after the dealer made a mistake regarding the part needed. They were honest and didn’t try and overcharge me. I can’t say enough good things about my experience there and will definitely be taking my car back there for any further needed work. Arron really is the nicest guy ever thanks!

John’s is always friendly and honest about what my vehicles needed and even tried to help me hunt down a couple gremlins in my truck. In the five years I was in San Diego, they helped me maintain four of our cars and trucks. They were always done in a timely manner, too. Hoping to find a similar shop near our new home in TX.

This place is an honest repair shop! They got me an appointment quickly and were friendly and professional from start to finish! Many auto repair shops are condescending to females and overcharge or try to get us to do things that aren't really necessary, but not this shop. They could have done and charged me for an additional service that I asked about, but instead, they explained how it might actually cause other problems in my vehicle and therefore was not necessary or recommended. I highly recommend John's Automotive Care!!
