I got stuck in a bind with a faulty heater hose driving from Arkansas to Georgia. There was nobody in Birmingham who could find the time or was willing to help me, except for John's Auto Repair & Tire. Hunter and John took time out of their busy day to fix my truck and get me safely back on the road. For that I will be forever grateful. If you have problems with your vehicle bring it here. These are the most honest and trustworthy people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Thank you again, John's Auto.

Exceptional service, honest and straightforward mechanic. We had an AC condenser fan motor bearing fail and called 5 different mechanics in the area charging what seemed like an excessive amount for this job - luckily found John’s and the team give a quick quote, which was totally reasonable, and have the part replaced within two days.

I had the pleasure of taking my Ford in for an oil change today, and boy John & his team did not disappoint. As a first-time customer I was nervous as there's so much greed in the auto world today. None of that here! I was greeted professionally and shared some great laughs right off the bat -- made me feel right at home. Wesley tackled my '14 Flex with expediency and gave me a heads-up about what work might be needed in the next months without being pushy. Very reasonable pricing, too. The honesty of this shop is why I'll be returning here for my next repairs. Thanks John, Hunter, & Wesley!

I left my car there for 2 weeks and they didn't do anything. Eventually had to come pick it up and take it to another mechanic. I use my car for work. No updates or calls were ever made to me about the status of my car.

Dropped my son's car off Sunday evening when it had multiple warning lights and owners manual said don't drive over 30 mph. Monday on lunch hour stopped off hoping to get an update. I got the update AND the car - repairs completed! WOW. Super reasonable price, car runs great again. Second time I've been here, first time was for my own vehicle. I'll keep coming back, thanks John's!!

I've been using John's for decades. You won't find a more honest and capable all-around mechanic shop. I always buy my tires here. Call ahead the day before. They order your tires, drop off the car and pick it up later. Glad to support a local family owned business.

I have always struggled to find a quality and trusted place for auto repair and not to mention a fair price. I no longer have that feeling after finding John’s Auto Repair & Tire. Best to call ahead but they will get you in and out. I will always check here first when I have auto issues.

I love this place. They drove my sister home and picked her back up. They took the time to track down an intermidant electrical problem that would drain the battery. Another place could only generalize the problem without giving a solution. They have always done the repairs quickly. We won't use anyone else now.

I visited the other day when my check engine light came on. Bonus that I was greeted by a sweet lab in lobby named captain. Hunter plugged my car in and determined it was likely that I needed a new gas cap because mine wasn’t clicking anymore. $12 later and no more check engine light. Very honest and pleasant! I’m used to driving to Prattville for auto work, but will come here next time. Highly recommend!
