Johnny's Auto Repair Shop, is amazing and trust worthy, while Subaru Dealership in Hayward try charging me $5,000 dollars for a repair that was not even needed, and Eric was able to confirmed that repair was not needed at all. I gone back a couple times and he has never tried selling me anything that I don't need, he is clear and to the point. I could not said enough good things of their work ethics. Highly recommend the shop.

Johnny's Auto Repair Shop is an independent repair shop run by Eric. He and his team are honest, communicative, and provide reasonable quotes / prices with quick service. He has my highest recommendation and I can't think of taking my car anywhere else. Anecdote to speak to Eric's character, I had an issue where my Hyundai needed an emergency tow and Eric helped recommend a towing service and stayed a bit after hours to make sure my car was received and safe, and gave me a quote shortly the following morning after diagnosing the problem.

The best mechanic I've ever taken my car to. Very friendly, extremely knowledgable, and communicative. Finding this mechanic feels like a huge weight off my shoulders, especially having an older quirky car that I love so much. Cannot recommend enough.

Easily the first place I'll recommend friends to when they need a car worked on. Eric was great - communicative about time when the repair would be done with a SUPER reasonable estimate. Prices quoted up front and even when I was few minutes after closing to pick up my car, he waited for me to grab it. Truly an awesome shop who has your best interest in mind.

Super great local mechanic. Always excellent service, friendly, thorough, and honest. Prices are not the cheapest, but it feels like a really good value when you feel like you can trust they aren’t over-selling you. So glad we found them and highly recommend.

Great experience with Eric at Johnny's Auto Shop. He replaced the spark plugs on my 2009 Prius in a very expedient fashion and with a very reasonable cost. Also helped me troubleshoot an issue with my manual car seat slide track. Will be first consulting him in the future for all my future car repairs.

My wife and I were visiting our daughter in Oakland. We had just packed the car and were heading out of town when the car started behaving strangely. My daughter recommended Johnny's. Eric had us on our way in about 15 minutes! Amazing service!

Stellar service! Volkswagen was leaking oil due to incorrect filter installation. I called in the morning and they were able to diagnose, repair, and top up my oil in just a few hours. 5/5
