I want to warn others about this shop. I brought my car in for a complete repaint, and the cost was $1,700. After a week, I returned to pick up my vehicle, only to find that the paint on the rear bumper was cracked. They hadn't sanded the bumper properly, which caused the paint to crack as it dried. When I asked them to fix it, they refused, claiming that the bumper was already in that condition. They told me I would need to pay an additional $450 to replace the entire rear bumper simply because of the cracked paint. I had previously informed them that the vehicle belonged to my deceased daughter and requested a quality job. I am extremely disappointed, especially with the disrespectful way they spoke to me as a customer.

John is a wonderful mechanic and I refer to him as my own personal MacGyver!!! He has worked miracles for me over the years on my personal automobiles. I had a 2009 Acura TSX that had a parasitic power drain. All the other mechanics couldn’t find the issue but John could solve it. (It was the Homelink) That’s just one great example of how awesome of a mechanic he is. He worked my Acura over the years from when I got it with 119,000 miles to when I left Austin. He worked my Crown Vic and my Toyota Prius too. I highly recommend John!!!

Honest, professional, knowledgeable, and all around good guy. His prices are good and if you want your car fixed right the first time this is where you need to take it. I couldn't be more happy with the service from this business!!

John Wayne's shop used to be 5 minutes from me before he moved to Lava Hill Road. Now he is 35 minutes to an hour away depending on traffic. I still go to him for automotive services and repairs because he is a man of integrity and honesty. Finding an honest quality mechanic that you can trust is priceless. I have known and used John's expertise for over 15 years and look forward to the next 20 should I live that long and he doesn't retire.
