The owner of this shop, Old Joe, is a car repair sage and a classic repair master. His skills are exceptionally high, making him a precious and excellent mechanic in Houston. Unlike many brand dealers who prefer replacing OEM parts to make more money, Old Joe prefers to resolving issues and saving you money. Additionally, he is a very honest person. I will only go to Old Joe for my vehicle maintenance in the future. Joe is truly passionate about cars, and his yard is filled with various antique cars. Last, be aware that many people seek Old Joe's services, so you must arrive right when the shop opens at 7 AM, or you might not get a spot. :)

I highly recommend Joe's Auto Repair. Joe is a master mechanic, honest, kind, and you can count on his repairs to be right the first time. I have been taking my cars - Honda, Subaru, and now a Volvo to Joe for more than 20 years. I will not take my cars to any other mechanic. Thank you, Joe!

JOE SAVED ME $2365.00. I have driven by Joe's many times but have never used him because he had so many cars parked in his lot. What a mistake. I was quoted $2400 to replace two control arms and bushings on my Camry. (was pulling hard to the right) Some clients said I gotta go see Joe, so I did and he put it up on the rack and discovered my control arms, which were replaced in 2018 are just fine. He rotated the tires, aired them to proper PSI and now it is driving straight and true. Joe only charged me $35. I gave him a nice tip and I will tell everyone I know about Joe. All 3 of our cars will be going to Joe from now on.

Honest. Informative. Quick. Been going to Joe for over 20 years and will always always take my cars here. He'll let you know what's going on and do what it takes to get your ride back to you asap. I came into town on a Monday and my alternator went out on my Range Rover so I needed it done quick. Brought it in at 10am they had it done by end of day. Cannot say enough good things about the great service and help they gave me. Super friendly salt of the earth folk. Thanks a bunch Joe and staff! You really saved my week.

I can’t say enough good things. I had been hesitant to use them in the past bc you see their lot is so full of cars everyday. I was afraid the turnaround time would take forever but that was not the case at all. The time frame (2 days for a long list of repairs) and repair costs were very reasonable. I am confident that the same repairs at the dealership would have been at least 3x the amount. Joe even stopped by my house (we live close by) to give me the quote in person bc my phone # got transcribed incorrectly (due to my bad handwriting). So glad to have a great and reasonable repair shop close by.
