They under promise and over perform. They told me my repair would take at least two weeks if no other problems occurred. I had my vehicle back in 2 to 3 days. No problems and the paint looks great.

My truck had a good bit of damage to the front end of it and I had joe collision do the work on it. They extremely helpful and kept me updated throughout the whole process on the progress of my truck. I’m highly impressed with them and I recommend them to everyone. They did a great job, but I sure wish they’d have gotten all of the parts before scheduling the car for doing the work. We waited a good week for them all to come in so they could finish the job.

As of now, the repairs seems to be working fine. During the repair process, the staff was courteous to provide the updates. The overall delivery was on time and very satisfactory.

By far, the worst experience I have had in dealing with a collision center. My Mer Benz Suv was there 5.5 months. Was lied to on numberous occasions, even told at one point that it was repaired and at the MB dealership being calibrated. Then informed 3 weeks ago, that it would be ready in two days and that they were waiting on one more part. I was just informed last week it is being totaled. When I went to get my tags, my car looked untouced from the day it was towed there 5 months ago. I can understand parts delay and even staff shortages, if that's the case, but total lying and deceiving customers is totally unacceptable.

Do NOT take your Tesla here. Drained the battery, used up mileage, installed the part wrong, and have not taken accountability for fixing their mistakes (yes, multiple). Columbia SC location.

The reason I’m only giving one star is because of poor communication, lack of accountability (from staff and management), poor part installation/ job execution, unreliability, and dishonesty. Here’s the story: 13 months ago I got connected with Joe Hudson through the insurance company to fix a dent in my tailgate. I took in my car and was told they would order the tailgate and it would take approximately 1 month for the tailgate to arrive. I called after a couple months of waiting and I was told that they would contact me once the part arrives. After the third month of waiting I called again and was told the part arrived and I was able to schedule the repair. It took roughly 1 week to get the repair done. When I came in to pick up my car I waited until 5 pm for them to bring it out (they close at 5). No one reviewed the repair job with me since their office was closed at that point. I went to a near-by super charging station and observed that the tailgate was installed crookedly. The same night I took a closer look at the rear tail light and saw that there was condensation inside. In addition to the condensation and misalignment, water was getting into my trunk. In the following days I reached out to Joe Hudson and explained the issues, they asked for photos of the rear light, which I emailed promptly. The person then notified me that he ordered a rear taillight and that they would align the tailgate & replace the taillight once the part arrives. I waited for a few months before calling and asked if the taillight had arrived. I was told that the person I originally worked with was no longer with the company and that the order for a taillight was never placed. They told me to come back into the shop to at least get the tailgate aligned, and they would place an order for the taillight. I returned to the shop and was told that they are unable to align the tailgate because the part that was installed was faulty and if they tried to align it then the tailgate would crack, she showed me that there was indeed a gap in the tailgate on the inside and told me that they would need to order a new tailgate for me. I expressed my concerns of having to wait another 3 months for the part to arrive, and the fact that it’s a 5hr round trip for me. She said this was the only way to fix this issue. Before I left the shop, I was told that the part was placed on order. A few months later I called again and was told that the part would arrive by the end of August (roughly a year after my initial inquiry with Joe Hudson). I scheduled an appointment for September. I called in September and was told that the second person that I was working with has been let go, and that they would give me a phone call back the same day after confirming that the part arrived. I called the following day and was transfer to a manager who told me that the tailgate I’ve been waiting for was never ordered. I explained to him that I’ve been waiting for months and no one bothered to follow up with me. He told me that the person I’ve been working with had lied and that he was not aware that I even needed to have work done on my car. He told me they could seal the crack in the faulty tailgate. I expressed that the crack was not the only concern and that the tailgate itself was misaligned and I was told that if they try to align it then the tailgate would crack. We went back an forth for a bit. I no longer trust Joe Hudson Collision so I will be working with another provider. My recommendation to the management is to create a tracking system for work orders, to have follow up with customers, and to provide tracking services for parts. I understand that the people “at fault” have been let go, but ultimately it’s on you to have the systems in place to ensure things don’t slip through the cracks. So much of my time has been waisted and my car is worst off than it was.
