Needed to get my car fixed, took it here because of the high ratings on Google. They were knowledgeable, transparent, and quick, with a good warranty policy on the car battery I ended up needing from them. Wish they were a little less expensive, but I never felt like I was being cheated.

As of 8/11/23, a good place for vehicle brakes & oil changes. Minor electrical work & making vehicle status calls to the customer are a huge weakness! Call ahead to explain your vehicle's issue[s]. NOTE: they focus on CERTAIN types of service & repairs ONLY. Make an appointment days in advance. They're busy & a well-liked, & visited shop. For simple repairs or oil changes, you can wait in the customer waiting area. There's a T.V., and coffee is available there. You can visit the Mi Tierra café bar and grill across the street or the Valero/Circle K and ATM machine one block away, since there aren't any snack/soda machines on site. Expect a call to discuss issues they found & the repair options you have, or you'll get good news that your vehicle is ready for pick up. One normally has an idea of how long a repair should take, especially if one made an appointment. I experienced 2 different occasions where I was the one checking up on the status of my vehicle, so be mindful that you may not get a call to inform you your vehicle will not be ready by their 6 PM closing time. My latest experience, after making an appointment and dropping the vehicle off in the morning, resulted in almost a 2 day stay. I'm glad I called in several times to check up on the vehicle's status. The end result, the shop was not able to purchase and mount two ballast resistors to alleviate a halogen to LED headlight swap out issue. Jerry, the owner, does the quality control. He checks the work out himself. In my case and on another vehicle, he found a stripped lug nut when removing and replacing one of my wheels, so he took the liberty of replacing it with a new one. Nice! They talk with you about your vehicle. Sort of like a therapist would spend the time to explain what's best now or in the future for your vehicle. Jerry, the owner, his wife Melisa, and Araceli from the office were all cordial and friendly! Kudos to Araceli!! -- Desde 11/8/23, un buen lugar para frenos de vehículos y cambios de aceite. ¡Los trabajos eléctricos menores y hacer llamadas de estado del vehículo al cliente son una gran debilidad! Llame con anticipación para explicar los problemas de su vehículo. NOTA: se enfocan en CIERTOS tipos de servicio y reparaciones SOLAMENTE. Concertar cita con días de antelación. Están ocupados y son una tienda muy querida y visitada. Para reparaciones simples o cambios de aceite, puede esperar en el área de espera del cliente. Hay una televisión y café disponible allí. Puede visitar el café bar y parrilla Mi Tierra al otro lado de la calle o el Valero/Circle K y el cajero automático a una cuadra, ya que no hay máquinas de refrigerios/refrescos en el lugar. Espere una llamada para discutir los problemas que encontraron y las opciones de reparación que tiene, o recibirá buenas noticias de que su vehículo está listo para ser recogido. Normalmente, uno tiene una idea de cuánto tiempo debe llevar una reparación, especialmente si hizo una cita. Experimenté 2 ocasiones diferentes en las que yo era el que verificaba el estado de mi vehículo, así que tenga en cuenta que es posible que no reciba una llamada para informarle que su vehículo no estará listo para la hora de cierre de las 6 p.m. Mi última experiencia, después de hacer una cita y dejar el vehículo en la mañana, resultó en una estadía de casi 2 días. Me alegro de haber llamado varias veces para comprobar el estado del vehículo. El resultado final fue que el taller no pudo comprar ni montar dos resistencias de balasto para aliviar un problema de cambio de faros halógenos a LED. Jerry, el dueño, hace el control de calidad. Él mismo revisa el trabajo. En mi caso y en otro vehículo, encontró una tuerca rota al quitar y reemplazar una de mis ruedas, por lo que se tomó la libertad de reemplazarla por una nueva. ¡Lindo! Ellos hablan contigo de tu vehículo. Algo así como un terapeuta pasaría el tiempo para explicar lo que es mejor ahora o en el futuro para su vehículo. ¡Jerry, el dueño, su esposa Melisa y Araceli de la oficina fueron todos cordiales y amables! ¡¡Felicitaciones a Araceli!!

I wanted to see if this was a good shop so i unplugged a plug that goes to fan they never seen it or tried to look if it was getting power they over charged me for radiator flush when it was a new radiator bad place don't go

Very unhappy with the service and turn out. Checked in my truck for a misfire got a computer diagnose and a smoke test done to find the issue. Jerry kept my truck for 45 days telling me that he needed time later to be told that he those not have time to check my truck and fix it . Very disappointed that he still had the nerve to charge me for the diagnose and sit my truck in his lot all this time. The business as per Jerry is lacking personal he is overwhelmed and has to much work then he can handle. A simple solution for me on a business level don’t take anymore work then what you already have putting customers in a bad position not providing the service. Very simple if you require his services heads up and be ready to leave your vehicle their plenty of time . I don’t recommend this place excuse after excuse here I am still with the problem probably worse then they way it was and know have to start over with another shop . Hope this review can help you make a wise and business decision on considering this shop . Update 4-27-2023 went to a humble shop that I was referred to by another vendor only to have the issue taken care of in 30 mins was something very simple that a fancy and famous shop could not fix but sure quick to take your money my cost $30 bucks . You took my money this time Jerry but you sure will not again you should be ashamed hopefully this review will help others to think about your services and all the bs you use and lies you come up with .

An amazing experience once again, Jerry is the type of mechanic that truly cares about his customers and their needs. Every question was answered with the receptionist she has such a radiant energy that fills the shop. Prices can vary depending on what you need fixing but every time I get my car back from them it’s like brand new!!

Jerry's was able to identify and correct issues I was having with my 2020 GMC Sierra. Took to local GMC dealer (Powell Watson) and after a week - they did nothing. Took to local Chevrolet dealer (Sames Chevrolet). After 1.5 weeks they did nothing, lied and sabotaged my vehicle. Jerry was prompt, courteous and kept me informed on what was being done. Replaced all 4 faulty GMC brake pads & rotors. Identified electrical issues and referred to an experienced and trusted electrician. Excellent work at a fair price.

We have been long time customers of Jerry’s. This is my go to shop family owned, honest , always get great and professional service. From the front desk which is always courteous and helpful to there mechanics which are very knowledgeable. the owners are always on site and over see every job that gets done they take pride in getting the job done right. Jerry always personally explains the issues and gives you the best recommendations on ur repair. I like the fact that they use quality parts and we all know that you get what you pay for if we go cheap. People always ask me recommend a mechanic I always say Jerry's they always ask how are the prices I say they are what they are reasonable. When your vehicle is broke down you don’t have the option to tow it from shop to shop and get quotes on repairs so for me I take it the the shop I trust without a doubt. You can’t put a price on an honest and knowledgeable mechanic shop. So if you read this far I know personally that Jerry’s treats every customer with the same honesty. Recommend 110%!
