I’d give him a fat zero! He’s rude and my truck has been in the shop almost 21 days and nothing has been touched! There is no urgency whatsoever and I was fully prepared to buy a brand new transmission! Save yourself the waste of time and find a different mechanic

I have been going to Mr Pelton for years. He is honest,through and reasonable. He finds the problem. Fixes it and it done. My sister my daughter and granddaughter take our vehicles to Me pelton. I come in from Spring Branch & my granddaughter comes in from San Marcus. He great!

Honest mechanic and worth the money. I was told by Nissan I'll need to do my rear breaks but I only placed my front. And Jerry told me my breaks are fine. I will be going to him for every car maintenance issue.

Jerry is a VERY seasoned mechanic and has been one longer than most of us have been alive. He’s honest, sweet, and will explain things in detail. He doesn’t try to upsell or do things to make money. I wish more people were like him, in general, in the trade industry.

If anyone needs an honest Christian man to work on your car call Jerry. Got estimate from another shop of $1000.00 this is for an older model car that isn't worth putting that much into. The car is my 19 yr old and I'm a single mom. Neither of us have that kind of money. Yes all of the work is needed but Jerry told me we could just do this one thing to make the car safe and for now the bill was $100.00 The other shop said the cv axel was busted, Jerry stated if that was the case the wheel wouldn't even turn. I saw his name on the Nextdoor.com 2 or 3 people recommended him, so glad to have found him. The world needs more honest people like Jerry Pelton.

Only put 1 star because I could comment with out it they said a new engine was the only way to fix the vehicle got another opinion to find out it is not a new engine

It does not look like an upscale shop but the work is priced reasonably and they do good work. However, they may have to keep your car a couple days so have a back up plan.

Jerry is awesome. I don't know how many trustworthy mechanics still exist, but Jerry is right there off Broadway, outside the loop. He can fix or analyze most issues, and will charge a fair price. If your problem isn't worth spending money on, he'll let you know that too..
