I don't write reviews ever, but this one is well deserved. Jeff Mobile mechanic came to our rescue after and gave us a fair and honest price, quality work, and from one personally deals with tradesman regularly, they struck me as one of the few mechanics who has integrity and treats his customers with respect. I couldn't recommend his work highly enough and will be my go-to mechanic for not only myself, but friends and family as well. Do yourself a favor, If you're looking for a mobile mechanic in the PDX area, DO NOT USE ANYONE ELSE OTHER THAN JEFF'S MOBILE MECHANIC.

I loved these guys. Real people, super clear about what was going on with my vehicle, didn't try to upsell me on stuff I didn't need, replaced my alternator TODAY, and were super-reasonably priced. I'll definitely be calling them again.

Jeff and his assistant Billy are two of the best/most down to earth mechanics I’ve ever met. They came right to my house and replaced my Water Pump and Brake Pads and got my car back up in running in no time. Highly recommended, 5 stars all the way 💪

Jeff worked on my ram pro master and i thought i needed a new start / had no idea what the issue was. He was thinking it was the starter but instead of charging me for a brand new starter and man hours it would of taken. he found a bolt that wasn't tightened down all the way and only charged me the fee to come out and diagnose the car. I will continue to refer people to him for his honest work.

I bought a 1989 Corvette and was having some issues diagnosing a bit of intermittent smoke coming from the exhaust. Calling around, a lot of mechanics wouldn't look at it, but Jeff scheduled a time the next business day and they went through all the possibilities systematically, finally landing upon valve stem seals. He explained there were a few ways to get in to replace them, but suggested the cheaper option even though it'd be more of a pain for them to do. They came out and knocked it out a few days later and showed me a lot of the steps in the process, and he was right, some of the seals had deteriorated and replacing them solved the problem. He also noticed I needed a new serpentine belt and just picked a new one up to replace for me. He also suggested a few other things to do to make sure it'd perform better and get a pass on emissions at DEQ and was honest about pointing out there is also some other work to do that is unrelated that I will want to get taken care of after getting all the registration stuff done (and showed me there is at least one fuel injector acting up also and it starts hard sometimes). The best part was he and Billy came to me to do the work, so I didn't have to interrupt my work schedule at a very busy time of year. And he has checked back in after to make sure I got a pass (and I did!). I'm glad I called Jeff - I appreciated that he would talk through the things he was checking or would show me the things he'd found, and when I was extra busy, they just got to work. I'll definitely be calling him again in the future.

I called Jeff about doing a pre-purchase inspection and he and his assistant responded and had the inspection completed within a couple of hours. They did a thorough inspection and clearly communicated the results. Jeff clearly has a lot of experience and I feel much more confident about this vehicle now. Will definitely be using his services again in the future!

I took my truck to a mechanic in Northern Camas Washington to get my breaks and rodders changed. That was fast and decent job. He then said I needed my axel fixed. He jerked me around and held my truck hostage for 4 weeks, and charged me $280. For basically nothing. I ended up getting it towed home 6 miles after I left his shop. My truck was disabled for over 2 months waiting to be taken to another mechanic I felt I could trust. I got Jeff's number from a friend. I called him up, him and his coworker Billy were at my house in less than 24 hours, they had the whole axle issues fixed and buttoned up in about 3 hours. They charge reasonable prices compared to most in the area, and come to you. My truck is now happily back on the road and ready for more adventures! I will absolutely be calling them for other car issues in the future! Thank you again Jeff and Billy!

I've had Jeff maintaining my Honda CR-V for some time now. He is a highly skilled and experienced mechanic, and he's never let me down. Just recently I had him replace the "variable valve timing module." This was a complex procedure, and the job went exactly as promised. Best of all, the result was fantastic! The car now has more power than before, and I now get a couple more miles per gallon of gas; plus the funny noise at start-up is gone. Jeff is a friendly and confident guy. My son’s car broke down to the point it wasn’t drive-able so he had to rush to catch the bus to work. I called Jeff’s Mobile Mechanic Service’s. They were awesome! They came and worked on my son’s car as soon as they were finished with another job. My son was able to get off work and pick up his car and it runs great. Thank you guys for being so efficient!

I met Jeff around 14 years ago. I turned a wrench with him for a bit and working with him gave me confidence to tackle whatever auto projects I've had into adulthood. To this day I haven't spent a dime on any auto maintenance and do everything myself with the skills he was able to give me in a short timeframe. I just had to diagnose and swap out the starter on my no crank Yukon and it made me think of him. Given it's been over a decade I'm sure Jeff's skills are even more competent than before. He always made it a point to price things fairly, and it seems based on other reviews that a decade later he continues to do so. Good stuff buddy.

I had an awesome experience with Jeff. I needed a pre purchase inspection but all the local shops were booked out for weeks. Jeff was able to get it done same day. Communication was excellent! Thanks again and if I have any mobile mechanic needs in the future I know who to call.

Long story short, I desperately needed my work truck to work for work and Jeff showed up at my house shortly after calling him. He got my truck running great before the work day was over. Quality work and very knowledgeable! Had an alternator die on me on the road and stranded me at a gas station. Jeff and Billy drove out, diagnosed it, quoted it, ran to get the new one, installed it, and were very transparent about pricing and even noticed a few other minor issues that they brought to my attention. Great guys, great price, and no shady dealings! Highly recommend!

Jeff was great! He was very upfront about when he would be available to me, which was the next day, and what his pricing was. He came out and within minutes of looking under the hood of my '09 VW Jetta TDI, he knew my alternator was no longer working and drained my fairly new battery. He fixed it in about 3 hours, and it was $740 for everything, ultimately that was a significantly better deal than if I had towed it out to a VW diesel mechanic who would've charged me an additional grand to do the same job. I'm happy with the service and that Jeff was forthcoming with anything he was seeing that might need attention and pointed it out to me. I have other fixes that need to be done and I think I'll just be saving myself the heartache and the financial ruin if I continue to bring my car's needs to Jeff.

Jeff came same day to do a pre purchase check on the 07 Toyota I bought. The man was prompt, thorough, and knowledgeable. He gave me a complete understanding of the car. I have a motor home that 3 other "backyard" mechanics tried fixing the misfire. Jeff came over and diagnosed and repaired the faulty injector and was done in 2 hours. I have more projects he will be working on.

Super chill guy, checked out my car for free after some guys at jiffy lube told me some bull about the transmission fluid. Friendly and knowledgeable.
