I checked my Toyota Scion car in yesterday on 1/15/2025 and Jay was the most Honest person when it comes to fixing someone's car. My car is used and it sounds So Much Better than what it was. This will be my place of where I will be taking my car to get fixed in Michigan. I would Recommend anyone to get their car fixed here. He is also very Professional, Nice & Humble. I pray to Jesus Christ Jay that you will be Around for many More Decades to Come. Amen

I spent a little over 7 hours trying to get my car towed to this mechanic shop through my auto insurance app and once I finally got there, feared the crew wouldn’t have time to help me. They not only fixed my car just in time, they also explained what was wrong, and made clear suggestions on how to proceed. They were kind (offering me coffee/tea), as well as respectful and patient despite my lack of car maintenance knowledge. The sign-in process was smooth, and once they’d finished with repairs, they even provided me with a product to help me extend the life of my vehicle. I will definitely be returning to this shop for future repairs.

My son was having trouble w/ his car not staying on after it was started. He was stranded for a second time on East 8 mile & I contacted AAA to come tow him to a shop, but the representative suggested Jay’s Auto Repair due to it being closer to my home. It was dropped off after they closed, but they contacted me early the next morning & by the next day… they let me know what the issue was (high pressure fuel pump) & got to work on it. My son had his car back within 3 days & I’m relieved. We work completely different hours & it was a bit stressful. Thank you to the guys at Jay’s for resolving the issue in a timely manner & at a VERY REASONABLE price.

Referred by my cousin who's being a customer for years , had repair done on my car very caring, reasonable price as women it's so hard to find good mechanic that just tell you anything this company no way near! Highly recommend ladies they will take care of you!! My new mechanic!!

I went in for brakes and came out with a much-needed tune up and oil change. Damon and Jay answered all of my questions with kindness and professionalism. The cost was reasonable, I was out in an flash, and my car is running so much better. Thank you guys!

If I could give a negativity star I would this shop right here will always give me the run around when it came to fixing my car, they would give me used parts, then charge me an arm and a leg and tell me that the parts are new. I would call the person at the front desk would all give me the run around. They would fix one problem just for me to have to comeback because that problem wasn't fixed correctly, so then because that part wasn't done right something else would go wrong so now, I have two problems because the first one caused another part to malfunction. When I call and ask to speak to Jay, he always for some reason has stepped out so now I'm waiting for a call back and I never get it. I will never go back to this shop if this was the only shop on earth. I wouldn't recommend this shop to my worst enemy.

I took my 2018 Mini Countryman in for an oil change. New to the city, I looked for an AAA certified mechanic and found Jay’s, and my experience was very positive. Fast, very reasonably priced and the service men that I talked to were helpful and informative. I watched an interaction with another female customer and was most impressed by the professionalism and kindness. I will be a repeat customer.
