I don't write reviews unless service/products are either incredible or horrible. This is a place is INCREDIBLE! A place you can trust. I've been in the area less than a year and needed some escalated service on my Subaru Forester. This local shop not only provided excellent service affordably with an awesome turn-around time, they also only did the work that was required. They did not make up service issues/items to charge me for unnecessary parts and labor - they honestly evaluated and did only the work required. How do I know? Well I went in expecting and telling them I thought I'd need both rear wheel bearings replaced and new front brake pads. When they called me up they said no, only one rear wheel bearing needed replacing and everything else looked great. If they only cared to make some money, they could have agreed with me and charged me for all of it. They did not. I will absolutely come back and will recommend them to anyone/everyone. Not to mention, the people are incredibly kind and a pleasure to work with. Awesome!!

I had an awesome experience with Japanese Auto! I dropped my Nissan Rogue off the night before, and they were able to get all of my issues resolved and I was able to pick it up the following night. They were super friendly and helpful, and always kept me up to date with how everything was going. They took the car on a test drive to make sure everything was working as intended. The price was super reasonable, and I will definitely be bringing my car back here in the future!

Adam did a great job working with me on setting up my 4runner that I bought. It was lifted 5 inches when I bought it he went through and changed out all of the rubber on all the joints. I felt taken care of the whole time. Good communication, good education from the shop to consumer. He fixed my breaks front and rear. He made my rear locker work again too. I will definitely be bringing my vehicles here.

We've been taking our cars here for 3 years. Mike and his team are always honest, reliable, and give the best advice for the longevity of my car. I recommend them any day over going to your dealer. JAS is cheaper, friendlier, and won't charge you for random hidden fees.

Last year I took my Subaru in as it was over heating & all the lights on the dash were on. I brought in a check engine reading from autozone. Mike charged me around 150 to run another check engine reading which it did not need and to put coolant in the car. There was a full thing of coolant in the trunk. I had the issue again, and he replaced my radiator cap for almost the same price, which is way too expensive. A year later (now) I had the SAME exact issue, took it somewhere else, I have a leak in the radiator, thermostat, and water pump. I suspect I could have had this issue resolved a year ago but instead mike charged me out the butt and sent me on my way. Now my cooling is shot and car is done.

Mike and Co have been super helpful doing pre-purchase inspections on 3 different vehicles for me, all on quick notice so I could make a decision. They helped me avoid significant mechanical issues on a couple of those vehicles.

They fixed my car but it broke again in the same way 2,000 miles later, and I was told "just because we fixed it once doesn't mean it's good forever" and they recommended I get it towed to their shop. I asked if the fix would be free because I don't want to pay for a tow if it's going to break again in 2,000 miles and was told "fine, don't bring it in then."

They fixed my car quickly and for a reasonable price. The “other guys” were going to experiment with fixing things to find the problem, while I foot the bill of course. Will be back!

Excellent quality of work, very skilled and knowledgeable, very reasonably priced. I used them for several repairs at this point and could not be more satisfied with the results. It can take a while to get an appointment with them since they're usually busy, but I don't blame them for that considering how good they are.

If you aren't going to Japanese Auto Specialists, what are you even doing??? My family has been going here for over 30 years and I will NEVER go anywhere else. Mike and his team are not only honest, but also thorough and have saved my family thousands of dollars over the years. Best. Mechanics. Ever.

My wife brought in her (new to her)2016 toyota Avalon for a pre purchase inspection.i was unable to go with her,but she was very pleased at how she was treated by Mike and kenny. She said they did a very thorough job for her in inspecting this vehicle.were friendly, and just took the time to give great customer service and advice.sounds like we found a great local shop to get her toyota Serviced in the future.

These guys are very thorough. They completed a PPI on Toyota Avalon for me to purchase. They invited me back to show me where each of the fluids are in the vehicle, put it on the lift to show me the undercarriage and tires and told me what may be needed in the near future. The amazing part about all of this is the fact that I'm a woman. Generally speaking, we do not recieve this type of treatment by mechanics. Very pleased by the service I received. Wish I would have known about this place sooner! These guys saved me thousands on my crosstrek the dealership was quoting me for a new engine. Japanese Auto Specialists were able to make repairs and had me back on the road without needing a new engine. I will continue to come here for all my vehicle's needs.
