5-Star Review for James Wood GMC! I had an excellent experience working with Wendi. From the very beginning, they were committed to getting me the best price possible on the car I wanted. Their negotiation skills were impressive, and they worked hard to make sure I was getting the best deal. What really stood out was their attention to detail when it came to the car itself. They made sure that it was in perfect condition before shipping it to me. I was really impressed with how smooth the entire process was, and when the car arrived, it was exactly as promised—spotless, perfectly tuned, and ready to go. Shipping was fast and well-coordinated. Wendi kept me updated throughout the entire process, which gave me peace of mind. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and the level of customer service I received. I brought my truck in for an oil change and a tire rotation. I travel quite a distance to this dealership so I can get the multi point inspection about every third oil change. When I got home I reviewed my multipoint report and found that they marked my battery as being bad. Nothing was mentioned about this at the dealership. I called and was told that the system notes that it was cranking slow. No test was performed. The advisor mentioned that they were busy on a Saturday and they didn't have time to do it proper. On anther note. They also marked my wipers as being bad and my air filter and passenger air filter as being bad. Going to find a different dealership to go have work done.

Update on my previous review of the service department’s fail to properly diagnose and fix a problem with my 2017 GMC 1500 4WD denali with LESS than 55,000 miles - they (and other gmc dealers) are failing to address transmission issues - BEWARE!! “ GM had knowledge of the Transmission Defect before it sold cars equipped with GM 8L90 or GM 8L45 transmissions. As such, GM's durational and mileage limitations on its express warranty and the implied warranty of merchantability are unconscionable. Case Names: Francis, et al. v. Dropped off my car this morning for service only to be greated with thousands of crickets in the waiting room. Please fumigate the whole building. You have people waiting atleast an hour per person to get home, standing and waiting outside to avoid them.

I have always had great service and been treated with respect and kindness. Your dealership has always been spot on to take care of me and my family that is why the most recent experience we have gone through with the 2019 truck has been a shock and totally uncalled for. Brought my 2019 Chevy Silverado truck to the shop and Gavynn (the advisor) I had did NOT listen to me at all!!! I told him on 8/13/24 exactly what be2 issues needed repair but he took it upon himself to fix something BEFORE the 2 things I brought them in for. To the tune of 8000.00. He then said the things I took it in for were not bad. I trusted him but knew beyond a doubt I would be back with the same 2 things since I know my truck inside and out. I was correct again and took to get it verified at a different shop. They found it right off without being told why we were there. But unfortunately my warranty made me bring back to woods to repair what Gavynn told me was not needed since woods “ repaired “ it 1 yr ago for the same thing ( not sure about that since it’s only been a yr. And always had a slip of transmission since the repair). We were not sure if we would return because of it but we are trying to give a chance to be set straight. We have a manager involved this round so we will see and hoping we will see the Woods service we are used to.

Very dissatisfied with my purchase from James Wood and would highly recommend that everyone be very cautious when purchasing a new or used vehicle from them. I found the vehicle listed on Facebook Marketplace and asked Keith several questions about the condition of the unit and specifically about any scratches or tears in the seats. I was told by Keith that it did have a couple rock chips on the front but "that was it" and "none" when it came to cuts or gouges. All that I asked from him from there was that it would be detailed and full tank of gas and that I would be down there tomorrow to pick it up. I drove 8 hours round trip, stayed in a hotel so that I could be there earlier in the day, all for the unit to not be what I was told. There was a cut in the drivers seat, scratches down the side, 4 rock chips in the windshield as well as the "few small rock chips in the paint", the rear hatch door would not open properly, the cargo area on the rear was and beat up and gouged, the interior was not detailed well, it did not have the full tank of gas, scratches on the rear screen tvs, a part in the cargo area was broken off and the gas tank door holder was broken off as well. I would have spoken to my "salesman" about the issues that I had but he left about 20 minutes after I got to the store and said "Sheldon has the paperwork inside for you to sign but I am going to head out" while I was still checking the car over. I could have declined the car but as you can tell with that mentality, I was pot committed to purchasing this unit as I have taken a day off from work, had a friend of mine take a day off of work and drove from northern Oklahoma to pick it up. I then decided that I would try to talk to the sales manager Greg? about the unit to see if he could fill it up, detail it a little better and see about buffing out the side where the previous owner? had come in contact with some limbs....he said, I will fill it up but nothing else. He then offered to pay for my fuel back to Oklahoma if I so chose not to buy the vehicle. I came down here to buy a vehicle based off of the "salesman's" representation of the vehicle, not to take a little stroll down the highway to Denton Texas. He knew that I was wanting the car and said he would not touch the car at all but only take off a couple of hundred dollars for all of the damage. That's fine and all but that will not cover all of the things that your salesman blatantly lied to me about. Again, Just a heads up to anyone who is interested in purchasing a vehicle, especially from out of town....think twice about James Wood Auto Family.

Went to get A/C fixed, they called said it was fixed and tested service report says it was fixed and verified but it wasn't until after I paid and tried to pick up my car did they tell me it would be another 1200$ to fix the A/C they said they fixed. Update: The service manager Brandon took care of things!

My experience with this dealership was less than satisfactory. The customer service was subpar, with the service advisor failing to communicate clearly and only doing the minimum. As a Denali Ultimate owner, I expected better treatment for the value of my vehicle. The service took an excessive 3 weeks, with half of that time due to a missing part and the other half due to delays on their end, forcing me to get a rental. When I finally picked up my car, it was dirty, the techs hand and foot prints all over the front, they did not even bother running it through the wash or wiping anything down which is the usual standard at other dealerships. Overall, I was extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

Please please please bring back your loaner fleet. It is beyond inconvenient to have warranty or recall work done and be told there are no options other than a shuttle service. The vehicle shortage is over, bring back the level of customer service your prices demand.

Very disappointed they charge me 60 dollars to diagnose an item. They said it would be almost 1k to fix it ended up being a 10 dollar item and a 5 minute fix.....won't be returning. I'm fine with them making money but they were trying to fix things that didn't need fixed.

By the time i decided on a vehicle (after visiting other dealerships with awful experiences), she was on vacation so Ryan helped us finish the deal. Easy, fair, honest. We will be back!

Will charge you loads of money to fix something, and it won’t fix the problem you are experiencing. Will reprogram your ECU, but when they mess up and can’t reprogram the key fob, they want to charge you 60 bucks to “DIAGNOSE” their mistake. Would only recommend going here to my worst enemies.
