We purchased a certified used Accord in April, a little over 2 months the battery was bad. We felt that the battery should have been replaced or discounted a great deal. The service center said when the car was checked out battery was good they gave us 15$ off a new battery. This experience makes us question Honda is Sarasota "certified used car" advertising. Not impressed.

I recently visited Honda of Sarasota to have my Honda serviced, and I was extremely disappointed with the experience, primarily due to the behavior of the service counter representative, Bryan. Bryan's demeanor was unprofessional and inappropriate. Instead of focusing on my vehicle and the service it required, he made several flirty and suggestive comments that made me feel very uncomfortable. His behavior was completely out of line and not what I expect when I visit a professional service center.

Went with daughter to help her purchase her first car. Salesman brandon hodgin was great. Helped ease her mind, explained everything in great detail and very patient with her. Knowledgeable of the vehicles and what was a right fit for her. When time to purchase my next vehicle will definitely be going back to see brandon at Sarasota Honda

Just horrible. Set up an appointment on the automated phone service, told them I needed a windshield, set a time, drive 45 minutes. I tell the kid behind the counter and he looks very confused. Gets the "glass guy", and then I find out I need to make another appointment, more than a week later. I'm on the bells and whistles "diamond" plan, what a joke

I'm very disappointed. I feel my service advisor practically tried to ROB me. In THIS economy, no less. I visited the dealership for an oil change and diagnostic last week.(I just financed this car in may of 2023) After paying $173.90 for that service, I was told I needed to preventatively get my timing belt serviced and was quoted $3072.15 and listing it as "Immediate attention required". Upon further inspection of my documents at home, I discovered that the timing belt had just been replaced LESS THAN 1 YEAR AGO. I was then quoted for $848.23 for a simple spark plug change. Parts were $195.84, and there was a shop supplies charge for $39.92. The labor charge was $556.97. My husband found the same spark plugs for $160, no big deal there. The problem is he changed them in 30 minutes flat. You mean to tell me that you charge approx. $1000 per labor hour. Pardon me, but GTF outta here. YOU ARE CROOKS!!!!!! I will never purchase a car through this dealership again, nor will I be taking my car here for any service in the future. HOW DARE YOU take advantage of your customers in this way. Any customers reading this review, PLEASE do your homework and check your vehicle records before you allow these crooks to cheat you out of your hard earned money. DISGUSTING. I will be telling anyone with ears to listen my experience and to avoid this business.

It took all day to do a 30000 mile service for 600$. They provided an uber back and forth to our home but it's a 40 min drive. Then one issue of some paint chipped on door could not be addressed without a second visit and service tech told me it wouldn't be covered and would cost 300$. Tires needed replacing under 30000 miles, another $1000. Feels like a big money suck.

Quit going when they were under new management and overcharged me for a simple oil change. After .onths I got an email coupon for oil change & I decided to try them again. I liked them before & the service mgr was always helpful & the service good. Went in for oil change, was reasonably quick and they honored the coupon without add ons. Went to see the service mgr & a new young man had replaced him. He was nice, we had a conversation about my air conditioner and it was informative. Will visit again. Still a little guarded, but we will see.

Sadly the Honda of Sarasota dealership has fallen below my expectations. As I was planning a trip to South Carolina I took my CRV for a scheduled grease/ oil and tire rotation. With the work completed I headed north. Shortly into the trip I received dash notification that my tires were losing air. So a portion of the afternoon was spent finding a tire shop to insure that my tires were not running low. It appears the tire sensor had not been reset after servicing. A wasted afternoon of effort. Upon arriving in South Carolina I received another dash warning that oil was at 15%. Time was spent looking under the car in the effort to see if I could detect a leak. More time was spent trying to decide if I should tow or try to drive and risk my engine. A check of the dip stick said I had oil, so I drove. Arriving at East Coast Honda in Myrtle beach it was confirmed that I did not have an oil problem. The tech technician had failed to reset this sensor as well. A simple task not completed by technicians in both cases, created an uncomfortable situation for me on my vacation. Under previous ownership, this particular dealership had provided me with competent servicing of my vehicle. However, the new ownership appears to have fallen short of my needs and since it is a 45 minute drive for me to get there, when I am local, I probably will revert to a different dealership. Happy with my Honda….. the dealer….not so much!

Took my 2008 Honda element in for an airbag recall. When I got the keys back, the attendant gave me the keys and said it's in the lot. At a real dealership, they would bring the car up, but no biggie. Once I got to my car, the windows were most of the way down and the car was unlocked. My car was there overnight, unlocked with the windows down. This is a 15 year old car with nothing inside to steal, but I'd guess that most people have stuff that could get stolen from a much newer car. Their response was...."you can't prove it was unlocked overnight, we move cars all the time"...so the porter doesn't lock the car once he moves it? He rolls the windows down to move it over 3 spots? When they did the recall, they cracked my dash and put a golf ball sized hole in it. Their response...."it's a 15 year old car, plastic gets brittle. We are absolutely not replacing the dash." The cherry on top of this, my passenger door was ajar and would not close all the way. Their response..."how could we even do that." I understand that mistakes happen, however you can tell a lot about a company on how they handle themselves after a mistake. Their work is extremely careless and shoddy. Their managers are untrained and unprofessional. They are unable and unwilling to fix the multiple problems that they caused due to their negligence. I would avoid this place at all cost if you care about your car or personal belongings.

Horrible experience! Daylight robbery in my opinion! I have been coming here for years since my experience was initially good when purchasing my car and having it serviced here since then. I am aware pricing has gone up and you pay for labor, but to have it doubled is insane due to labor being more than ever before! Labor use to be included!!! I asked for my service for cabin filter to be canceled for having found it cheaper elsewhere ($25 with free installation vs here where its $80 due to labor) and ran with my 8 week newborn to let my service agent, Sofia or Zofia, know to cancel it.. she was no where to be found for awhile.. so, I found the gentleman at my car and asked him to cancel it. He asked if I spoke to my service agent, and I said no due to not being able to find her and he assured me he would let her know AND THAT IT WAS NOT INSTALLED. I go to the restroom to change my daughter to then hear in Spanish the service agent speaking about me and my family "being cheap" and for the sale falling through. I was embarrassed! So no, I did not repeat that I canceled it again cause it seemed she was aware and already discussing it on the phone with whoever else. She quickly left when seeing me anyhow. I know tires can be expensive but for the tires to be $500 and the labor to be almost $600 is just bonkers to me - so I was looking elsewhere. I finally see my service agent for her to tell me they installed the filter already and my total was $150!!! For oil and a filter!!! I told her it was canceled and she said they can't find my old filter and there was nothing to do. It seemed totally intentional. It was totally embarrassing and very belittling experience, and to have them speak poorly of you is just horrible in everyway as a business. I will never recommend this place again and will do my best to avoid it!!! Also, I attached the photo showing "all tires" needing to be replaced when it was really just ONE needed. They kept saying for the 'safety of my daughter' to immediately replace ALL FOUR due to the tread being under 3. TOTAL lie - 3 were perfect with only ONE legitimately needing to be replaced. The company was taken over by manipulative liars to take your money. Speaking to customer relations does nothing but waste your time! Additionally! It sadly keeps going.. they did a poor job with my oil change and did not update my sticker for my next oil change date/mileage. Replaced my tires at Costco with name brand tires for $600 total. Honda had lost a customer here - my next car will be either Kia or Toyota! I simply love my new car. Thank you Elliott, and everyone else for your time! Finally, a good experience while buying a car!

The service center is top notch. The service mechanic even sent me a video of his review and recommended service items That's the first for me. The service coordinator, Beverly, was beyond great. She kept me informed and even took care of car warranty company for me. I must say this is the best service experience I've ever had. Highly recommended.
