Drove down from Arkansas to visit family and noticed the car was shaking. Took it in to these guys and they found the problem. He was nice enough to find parts so we could buy them on-line and ship them to a place further along our travels, where it would get repaired. This all during the holidays. Super nice and helpful!

This is one of the best repair shops I've been to. I went to get my car fixed today, and not only did the mechanic diagnose my car for free, but he explained to me exactly what needed to be fixed, changed my wiper blade after I remembered too late on the way home and called in last minute, and fixed my car within a few hours! On top of that, the pricing for parts and repairs was both honest and affordable. I cannot stress enough how highly I recommend this place. Thanks, Hometown!

Had service here on my Cadillac CTS. Replaced the driver side rear wheel bearing. Was fast and extremely reasonable with pricing! If you’re looking for a mechanic these guys are the BEST!!

We have been going here for years since Eli had his son now 7, we know we can trust him and his prices are great, I had 5 lug nuts on the wheels that needed to be changed and he did it for no charge, we said no we need to pay you for your time and the lug nuts he said forget about it

I have a 2021 Jeep Wrangler and I ordered some lights and didn't know how I was going to get them put on. I was referred to Hometown auto repair by the lady that cut my grass. This was the most best place I could ever say Eli is a wonderful person. I didn't have an appointment, but he was able to take care of my problem quickly made sure everything was right and I am so so very happy if I ever have any issues with anything about my vehicle, I'm going there because he educated me about my truck on things that I didn't even .know. I feel like my truck will be in good hands by Eli. Thank you.

Brought my vehicle to the shop to have it checked over for anything that needed to be done. Eli put my vehicle up on the lift and went over it with me, told what I needed and took the time to talk about everything with me. Bought the needed parts and scheduled a time to get my vehicle in with Eli. He and his mechanic got it in as scheduled and finished it way earlier than expected. Eli was very fair on what he charged for all the work done. I’ll definitely bring in my other vehicles for any work that needs to be done. Thank you Hometown Auto….

It’s rare to find a repair shop that is both honest and dependable, but this is definitely it. Eli is extremely knowledgeable and willing to work with customers to resolve any issue his shop is equipped to handle. Pricing is extremely fair compared to any other shop in the area, and they wont try to milk you for extra repairs and hours to get things fixed. I highly recommend getting any auto repairs done here.

The boss is very friendly, I had planned to change my brake system here, the boss personally helped me to check, said I can still open for a while, do not need to replace, they will not cheat you for money, it is worth you to go to his repair, unfortunately they do not replace the tire service.

The owner is a wizard when it comes to cars. His advice has saved me on multiple occasions. The distance is the best part. I have pushed my car there before. There are some issues he can't fix, but he'll help guide you to a solution. I've had to get my clutch replaced and he admitted to just not having the equipment to do it correctly. The clutch was a newer style. Instead of letting me go, he helped me search for a shop in Auburndale that was able to do it.

The owner is really nice. He worked with me on getting my car looked at. There is no place to wait while your car is being fixed so arrange a ride when you drop off your car. There's a key drop off so you can drop off when they are closed.

This guy's reputation speaks for its self with how busy he stays. Was passing through on business and having brake problems. He didn't have any openings until next week, heard my story, told me come by and he would look. Just happens he had a no show and got me right in. His knowledge is phenomenal and he has a huge heart to actually HELP people. If ever in the area needing work I won't go anywhere else.

Eli is absolutely amazing, if you’re looking for an honest mechanic who actually genuinely wants to help you & your mechanical needs I highly recommend him ! He is kind and friendly, doesn’t waste your time & his pricing is extremely reasonable. It’s truly hard to find a shop and someone like Eli nowadays so we appreciate all that he’s done for us. Hometown is really true to the name, I didn’t feel like a regular customer more like family.
