I took my wife’s Honda to Hometown Auto Body and had them repaint the hood as the clearcoat was peeling. I was given up an estimate and a time to drop it off and the work was done really nicely in the timeframe we agreed to. I’m very pleased with the service and I feel comfortable recommending Hometown Auto Body in Summerville

Towed my car and when I picked it up, I had 4 new warning lights and messages and my steering wheel is crooked 90 degrees. Refuses to take responsibility. Talked to multiple mechanics and other tow truck drivers. Everyone said he dragged it on the truck. I did not have these warning lights and messages before hand. Don’t let the highway patrol use the rotation list because crooks like this are on it. I’m filing a complaint with the SCDPS and my lawyer is looking into legal action. You don’t want this shop to touch your car, trust me. 300 dollars for them to break my property

We have been taking our vehicles to Chris for the past few years. (A few minor dents and scratches and a couple of major repairs). He is awesome! He gets your vehicle back to you when he says he will. Does a very good job, is professional and has the best prices around. I think we will be sticking with him and his crew.

Home Town Paint & Body LLC took care of my car and efficiently restored the damage. The friendly environment coupled with great service was noteworthy. I highly recommend this shop for body repair work.

Took 42 days for a simple door swap, paint, and the excuse was waiting on parts. The insurance company only covered 30 days, so I had to pay 12 days out of pocket. Chris (the owner) said he would reimburse me. Been a month and doesn't return my calls or emails. Had to take the truck back twice to fix the ABS light and door speakers not working. Turned out the mechanic broke the tabs that hold the wiring harness between the door and cab of the truck. Instead of dealing without my truck for multiple days, I fixed myself. Would not recommend them!

Chris and his staff are beyond nice It was a pleasure doing business with them. The part that was painted matched my car exactly, very professional, and very fast. I would recommend anyone looking for a good honest place to go to go to home team, paint and body and talk to Chris.

I wrecked my Jeep about a month ago and I had them fix it. They did a fantastic job and we’re fast. But recently had a minor issue with my Jeep and they fixed it immediately and offered to pay my tow bill. Chris and his team were amazing. I highly recommend using them for any repair work. You wont find a more honest team around I guarantee it.

my truck was left there for a month to get a hood fitted onto it, they made many false promises on when they would start and when it would be done ect. finally after weeks had passed i gave up and simply asked them to leave my keys in the truck so i could pick it up which they failed to do as well, had to come back again and ensure that they put the keys in and yet again they did not i had to go find them myself. wouldnt recommended anyone do business here or you’ll just be wasting your time and money.

Cannot work on aftermarket parts. They failed to realize during my quote (which was $500 more than the other company I went to) that my parts were aftermarket (which I am to blame somewhat). I left my car on Monday and did not get any calls or updates by Friday. Was told on Friday that I would be called with an update but was never called, so the next Monday I had to call them for them to tell me that my car was sitting there for a week with absolutely no work done to it. Pretty crappy, customer service was ok, HUGE disappointment.
