AWFUL EXPERIENCE. APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE. WOULD NOT GO BACK THERE AND SUGGEST YOU AVOID IT TOO! I took 4 rare, expensive wheels to have tires removed. They damaged one by dropping it on the concrete, and scratched two with improper tire removal techniques. After they damaged the three wheels they did not offer to pay for repair and started hitting the wheel with a hammer and wood in an attempt to "repair" it. They then got annoyed when I told them I would not pay the service. Very Unprofessional and absolutely appalling behavior in general. Stay away!

I had such a wonderful experience fixing the nail situation in my tire. I did not have to wait, and had such a lovely conversation with Karo. They were kind and fast and just so wonderful.

The first auto repair shop I repeatedly return to for business. The kindest staff who take amazing care of my girlfriend and my cars. They are honest mechanics and go the extra mile for customer service. It's a pleasure to just catch up with them and chat honestly. Ask for Gary and he will take care of you! I'd recommend anyone go there, 100%.

They have been very nice both times I have come here, after both times they showed me or my husband the old parts and what was wrong with them. Feels very honest, very communicative, and fair prices when compared to other shops I have been too as well!

Brought in last year to check out a weird noise my brakes were making. They ended up telling me I needed a new battery, so I got one. My car wouldn’t start today and AAA told me my battery was super low but on the battery itself there is a “24 month warranty”. I called to see if they were able to see my date of service as I’m positive it was less than 2 years ago, apparently they do not keep any of that information. They don’t have the service I received, the date I came in, or anything. The gentlemen on the phone lectured me “that’s why you have to keep the receipt” well, just so happens that my car was broken in to last week and all my receipts and car info was stolen, obviously not my fault and not the fault of the shop but he kept saying “you have to keep receipt” like….yeah, I tried thanks? On the phone he relayed that “they don’t keep that information here, they have it somewhere else” when I asked where somewhere else was and if it would be possible to access that info within a few days he kept rudely responding “no! You don’t have receipt I can’t do” Super odd interaction, not going back.

Dishonest, money hungry, doesn't know how to use a drill this guy stripped the thread off of my tire where the locknut goes on the threading. Rushed service and unprofessional attitude. Should have known better than to let this guy work on my car

I was asked after I got there would I be spending at least $5000., Before the work began. I said, "How do you know it will be $5000. The reply was, "I don't think that's fair too ask. I found another mechanic who has ethics and morals.

They told me it was a computer issue, and said I could have to pay $800+. I went to Pinky's and they told me it was an ignition switch issue. They charged me $150... they were very condescending. Go to Pinky's

I wouldn’t come here! They lie about issues being wrong. They overcharged me the first time I later found out. I went back the second time, they charged me $40 to tell me what could be wrong with my car, they told me I needed brakes and rotors which would be $700-800, I ended up going somewhere else.. they said I just needed brakes which was $300! I went back to confront the guy he said he wasn’t sure if I needed rotors but yet he said I did when he charged me $40 for an inspection. Never again! These people are scams! They never know a solid price, they always said it was something more the two times I came here.

I came here after calling on a Friday afternoon, braving traffic, only to find he took other customers and then told me to come back tomorrow that he could not fix my car. I brought all parts with me. What a waste of time and aggravation. 🤨

I bought two cars from them and they have done the majority of my auto repair for the past five years. Avo, the mechanic is a genius of auto repair. Gary, the businessman is a nice guy and a good musician. They do great work.

I've been taking my 2006 Volvo xc70 wagon here since the day I bought it new. Avo, Sean and Gary are great guys and have always done excellent work on my car. They use good quality products and have good advice on how to keep the car running perfectly. I moved out of the area recently and still drive the distance to see these guys. My car now has 90K+ miles and I know it can do another 90K with the care that it has received at Hollywood Star Auto. In my opinion they are one of the best in town.
