(I'm a Repeat Customer) The owner, Bert, has Hands-Down the most honest mechanic shop I've ever been to. They saved me over $10k on just two of my maintenance visits. Ex.: Toyota dealership tells me I need almost $6k of work on my rear end ('05 Tundra) and another couple $k on my engine. Took it 1/ 4 miles down the road to Hollywood, and I only need an engine seal and re-weld on a rear shock bracket, totaling just over $600. Amazing, and I was hooked on HPA. They solidified my business after I took my Honda Odyssey there because it's sounded like the rear tires were rubbing the wheel well, and I thought I was about to spend multiple $k's on new suspension and tires... I took it to HPA, the NEW (2 months old) Wheels and Tires I bought from Discount Tire, were the wrong size and too big! NO CHARGE. (It's a different story how I got Discount Tire to switch tires out) Hollywood PA had a prime opportunity to take advantage of me and put new everything on the back end, or all around the van, but they told me the truth and saved me Thousands of $$$$$. Take your vehicles here. Period.

Bert and Kyle are great guys and very trustworthy. That's why they have a thriving business. I drive an oddball 2000 Plymouth Prowler and they do fantastic work. Highly, highly recommend them.

I pulled up behind the bay for an inspection, asked a worker if I was good were I parked, and was told I was good right there. Within 90 seconds the employee in the engine bay reversed and hit my car. I got out and I didn’t even insult the guy, I was cussing and upset but I did not insult him or anything and he immediately got in my face trying to insinuate a fight. Even if I wasn’t supposed to park there, he still hit a parked car! He didn’t even look. And I was told I COULD park there. Strongly don’t recommend this ghetto establishment. Owner should immediately address this kind of behavior.

I was referred to this group by a friend who knows cars well. After one visit it was clear they were better and different than the rest. I have never taken a car anywhere else since that first encounter about 10 years ago. Always authentic and transparent. Have never been disappointed.

I've taken all my vehicles there for the past 20 years. Couldn't be happier. They work with you to fix what needs fixing and are willing to leave things alone if you are cost cautious. And talk about support afterwards! They've honored warranties past the warranty period, they've replaced parts that were defective without question. Prices are far more reasonable than dealerships (real world example: front axle replace: dealer $2200, HP $850. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Thanks Bert and Kyle, keep up the fantastic service!

Only checks out what you ask for, which is fine but imagine going to another car repair shop and they find a more serious problem then what you were aware of. Also, wanted to charge me a ridiculous amount to get a repair. But the thing that got me was they didn’t ask if it was okay to do a job and went ahead and billed me then to find out it wasn’t even necessary, won’t be going back to them.

Follow up: After the dismal visit to H P A this retired teacher decided to try to see if I could find the broken part that I could hear and I did. O'Reilly's had it the next day and Pep Boys installed it in less than 3 hours. H P A estimate $1200 - 1400. Final bill $350.

I have been taking my cars here for years. Burt and everyone who works here have always been super nice and honest and they know what they’re doing. My cars have had frustratingly ridiculous mechanics and wiring and they’ve always fixed the problem. We moved a bit further out and aren’t as close to their station but I will still make the drive to get gas here just to support them and now I bring my kid’s car here for repairs. That is how much I trust them.

Over the years, HPA has done a lot of work on my vehicles, they are the ONLY place I trust as a single woman to be honest and do quality work. They will tell you when a car should no longer be repaired instead of taking your money, they also inspected my current car before I purchased from a big name dealer and found a couple of items that needed work, I made the dealer fix those items and it saved me money in the long run. As long as I live in SA they will be my garage.

They are the most honest reliable auto shop that I've found in awhile. They are upfront about what it's going to take to get your car fixed and back to you as soon as they can. I won't take my vehicle anywhere else. All around top notch

Will not be returning back. Very disappointed with the guy that sits up front taking work orders and taking payment. He is very rude and when I asked him a couple of questions he acted as if he had no knowledge of what I was asking talking about. This is my second time having work done to one of my vehicles here. I spent almost $ 2000 in repairs with both visits combined. They do good work on vehicles and don't take long but customer service was a bad experience.

Talked to Kyle over the phone, professional guy, while unloading a customer's vehicle, the owner of Hollywood Park Auto approaches me while I'm unloading the vehicle, he was not wearing a mask, and got upset when I requested for him to stay back please, because he was not wearing a mask, Safety for others and myself is important during this pandemic crisis, when I called back inside Kyle was upset because of what happened with his boss and myself, I explained to Kyle, I'll interact with your staff, if they are wearing masks, if not please stay back

This was Dec 2020, very close to Christmas time. I had to get brakes replaced for my 2017 Toyota Rav4. Reading all the rave reviews, I decided to call Hollywood Park Auto regarding the brake job. Bert picked up the phone and quoted me $260 per axle for the brakes. I think this is rather very expensive. and this only includes the brake pads, no new rotors. When asked about the high price Bert was rather rude and hung up on me. Bad customer service.
