Do not go to this mechanic. Jesus is taking advantage of people. He will try to charge you double the labor than needed. He broke a part on my car while checking out the problem. Then he tries to charge me for his mistake. I would stay far away from this place. He charges twice the labor cost compared to Stickney Auto and isn't half the mechanic. I would give this shop 0 star if I could.

I am a mechanically inclined individual. I usually work on my own stuff. Recently I’ve been too busy so I have had to find someone. These guys are honest, straightforward, trustworthy, and communicate clearly on prices and estimates. These might be the best mechanics in Sarasota.

If you are looking for an HONEST mechanic that won’t over charge you, I highly recommend you go to Herpan Auto! Very impressed with the service we received here, My boyfriends BMW sat outside for over 2 years, had multiple issues and we brought it here to get fixed up so he could sell it to my mom who was going to drive it 1,700 miles back to NE… they did an amazing job fixing the car to make it driveable again, they didn’t waste any time, we needed it ready in 2-3 weeks and it was ready just in time! My mom made it back to New England with no issues at all, and the car ran great the whole time! THANKYOU to Herpan auto for all your help!!☺️

I’m in town from IL and my granddaughter drove from Cape Coral to see us. 5 min prior to her arrival her back tire starting smoking. It was 440 and I had to find a shop that would drop what they were doing the next morning and take a look at her jeep. You see we were flying back to IL 2 days later and my granddaughter had to get home. I explained the situation and he was so gracious and helpful after explaining the situation that I felt at ease. He said mam I will take care of it. After getting her car towed to the shop that night Jesus called me the next day and it was a bit more involved than what we thought. Nonetheless Jesus said I’ll have it done but it will be about 5 hours. As promised we showed up to the shop and my eyes teared up seeing all the cars on the premises waiting to be fixed. He stated I stopped everything to get her safe and back home. He was honest, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our 1 day together while he fixed her car. If you are in need of a local shop don’t hesitate for 1 minute to go see Jesus. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I’ll be forever grateful.

We go back & forth all year long from Indiana & keep a vehicle in Sarasota at our condo. Back in May '22, our van's a/c was not working when we arrived. I found Herpan online. I called & talked to Jesus. He said bring it in now. I was expecting to wait a few hours. Jesus greeted me & worked me in quickly. He communicated to me what was going on, how to fix & the cost. He was gracious, honest & fixed the issue promptly! I took one of his cards, thanked him & told him he has our business in the future- it was a very pleasant experience, instead of what could've been stressful. I would recommend Herpan Auto in a heartbeat!

I urge everyone to stay away from Jesus and his Mechanic shop. Total rip off, said one price at the beginning then came back after 2 hours and he decided to charge me $200 for diagnostics. His little 17 year olds kids have no clue what they are doing. Anytime you will go there, you will waist hours of your valuable time and nothing will be guaranteed as done. OVERPRICED SHOP WITH SHADY WORK PRACTICES. IF I WOULD HAVE A CHANCE TO GIVE LESS THEN ONE STAR I WOULD. SHOP LIKE THIS WILL BE OUT OF BUSINESS SOON.

Jesus is a great mechanic, and a good person. He has taken care of my truck for about 4 years now. He is a very honest mechanic who def knows his stuff. From oil changes to bad sensors, brakes, tires, electrical, he even shined up my chrome rims with some special product for motorcycles, brought them from looking pretty dull to new again! You will not be disappointed with Herpan Auto Care!

Herpan takes very good care of all our vehicles. They're honest and reasonably priced. They've performed a lot of services from replacing AC, recharging AC, brakes, repairing different engine problems, struts and even my regular oil changes. They're always friendly too and easy to work with. A small shop with a big heart! I'm so glad to have found this place - now I don't go anywhere else.

I have a 2013 Cadillac ATS and I would not bring my car to anyone else besides Jesus he has one of the most honest mechanics I’ve ever met in my life quality care is amazing and I recommend anybody that needs mechanical work all of my friends to him I’ve never met such a fair and honest mechanic want to go anywhere else

Took my car in for front lower control arms to be replaced today (7/1/2020) I brought in my own parts, he said he’ll do it for $180 labor and will have it done in 2 hours., I said awesome go ahead and do it....after making me wait 4 hours he said it will cost $900-1100 for labor ...I said no thanks, then he tried to charge me $90 for his “time” today for doing absolutely nothing to the car. I was about to flip, then he said ok get out of here. He also left greasy finger marks all over the front bumper, steering wheel, driver door panel, and shifter. Will never come back here again, and I suggest no one else to come.

Jesus is my guy! He saved our spring break trip by fixing my car. It took only a few hours while the big shops said it would take 2-3 days. Called my mechanic back home to see how much he would do it for and Jesus did it for half the cost. Couldn’t be happier

BEWARE!!! SCAM! Not worth a single star!!! Beware of this scamming repair place in Sarasota! Had car there, they installed used rebuild starter for 500$ after agreed for 360$ Damaged charging system, because they work on cars by guessing. refused to fix, Will have take to court Jesus Tores that pretend to be a mechanic, to cover the cost of repair of the car at the dealer.
