I had a great experience at this shop! I brought my 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV in at 8:34 a.m., and by 9:08 a.m., Clay and his team had already replaced the sway bars on both sides—super fast and efficient service! Pros: ✅ Great service – Clay and his team took great care of my car. They were helpful, professional, and worked quickly. ✅ Appointment-based system – No long waits if you schedule ahead. ✅ Reliable & skilled – They know what they’re doing and get the job done right. Things to Note: ⚠️ Appointments are required – This shop only works by appointment, so don’t show up without one. No walk-ins! ⚠️ Waiting room smell – There’s a strong smell of engine oil and smoke inside. If you’re sensitive to smells (like me, since I have allergies), you might prefer waiting outside—unless it's raining, like today. Would I come back? ✅ Yes. Would I recommend this shop? ✅ Definitely. First i would like to start off by stating this young man Clay comes as advertised! Honest, Hard Worker. Nothing better than meeting folks you can trust! Dealer said rodents got my electrical wires PCM harness 2018 Tundra, towed to Clay saved $6000 of insurance claim. Thanks Clay!

Has no idea what they are talking about with mechanics. Asked for rod bearing change out and they said they’d hat to drop the transmission first. Absolutely a joke of mechanics lol.

One of the best shops in Denton! Clay knows what he is doing and does not overcharge. I love that it's family owned and operated. If you get a big quote from a big chain or the dealership, take it to Clay. Trust me he's the best and won't try to screw you over.

Honest and straightforward, treats customers with respect and keeps in touch about repairs. Really goes the extra mile to ensure work is done properly. An excellent experience. When I require repairs in the future, I will definitely bring my cars to this shop again.

The alternator on my Honda suddenly went out last week, which resulted in my car suddenly driving very slowly and then dying as the battery had been completely drained. I was able to get to an O-Reilly's at 5pm to test the battery and alternator but it was too late to get work done. I called Heldmann's the next morning on O'Reilly's recommendation and was so impressed with Clay's service. I had planned to have the car towed to his shop because the battery was not able to sufficiently charge the car. Instead, he offered to come to my house to pick up the key, go get the car from O'Reilly's and use his battery pack charger to help get it down the street to his shop. He worked us into his schedule that day, brought the car to me when he was done and charged an incredibly fair price for his labor with no upcharge on the part. I never even had to leave the house, which was incredibly helpful since I had my two young daughters with me! I'm glad to know we have such a fair and helpful neighborhood mechanic right around the corner!

I havent even been to this automotive place just talked to justin he is honest mechanic keeping them as my mechanic from now on. Sept 8th my husband billy Anderson yook his Taurus in for brakes being done. This automotive is wonderful trust worthy I trust them always with our vehicles honest mechanics. Love this place. Everyone if u need a trusting mechanic go see heldmans automotive in Denton on Sherman st they r the honest and best mechanic ever
