I’ve been coming here for years, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my cars. Since moving to San Francisco years ago, I’ve brought every car I’ve owned here, and it’s been such a relief to find a mechanic I can truly trust. Ping is hands-down the best—friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly honest. Over the years, he’s worked on all my cars, and no matter what I bring him, he always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is running smoothly. What stands out the most is his honesty. There have been countless times when I thought something was wrong with my car, and Ping would take the time to check it out, only to find it was a non-issue. He’d explain everything clearly, send me on my way, and never once tried to sell me something I didn’t need. That kind of integrity is so refreshing and rare to find. One particular experience really sticks with me. My partner had an issue at a nearby tire shop where they tried to convince her she needed four new tires for $1,500. She called me in a panic, and I immediately told her to bring the car to Ping. He looked at it, figured out the real issue, and fixed it on the spot for under $30. Whether it’s routine maintenance, big repairs, or just peace of mind, I always bring my cars to Ping. The prices are fair, the work is excellent, and most importantly, you can trust them completely. If you’re in San Francisco and looking for an honest, skilled mechanic, this is absolutely the place to go!

This is my third visit to Mister Ping’s Auto Care, and I couldn’t be happier. Honestly, I trust my car only with him. He is incredibly honest, professional, and friendly.
