I went in to check and see what was wrong with my car cause it kept cutting off on me while i was driving. I paid for a diagnostic and i was told it was either the starter transmission or the battery. I just had the battery replaced and the transmission had a bad reading so that was supposed to be fixed. I took off work to drop it off because my work schedule is the worst. Since he figured out the problem so quickly i asked if he could do my headlight which I’ve been trying to get fixed for a while. He looked at it and told me he could fix it! He had to order the part so i couldn’t get it fixed that day. So i paid for my transmission and i paid in advance for my headlight and the labor. HE SAID IT WOULD BE A NEW PART. Due to my work schedule i couldn’t come the next day so i called that Friday to see if i could drop it off then. They closed early but he said he would have his son fix my light that Saturday. They don’t normally work Saturday’s but he was coming in to fix someone else’s car. So when i get there his son looks at it and he couldn’t even fix it then cause he would have had to remove extra parts and he wouldn’t have the time. I got tired of chasing and calling so i just forgot about it for a while and when i finally got i touch with him i told him i just didn’t want to get it fixed anymore i just wanted my money back. He had the nerve to get an attitude with me and tells me he couldn’t refund me because the Part was used which is not what he told me originally! When i finally got my headlight assembly from him and took it to another mechanic it was the wrong part! And my car still kept shutting off after he was supposed to fix it. I was done with it completely after that. I will NEVER come here again and i will NEVER recommend anyone to come here. I still have the part and every time i look at it i get heated. 425 dollars down the drain and i got so frustrated i didn’t even want the money back no more. VERY unprofessional.

The guys over at GRT Auto Repair are great. I've taken many vehicles to them over the years and have always received great service. You pay for what you get... quality work at a reasonable price! Ask for Big Ron or Lil Ron.... they will take care of you!

Omg I can not say enough about this mechanic and his son.i was traveling through Columbia and threw a bearing. Ron was on it unfortunately a part couldn’t be there till the next day I was traveling with four dogs too. Ron took me to my hotel. Made sure the pups had water and got us secured for. the night he went the next morning got my piece himself to avoid a delay got me up and running at the promised time. He even came and picked me up. I live 4 hours from this shop and I’m coming back for Ron to do a couple of other things I need done. These guys are absolutely wonderful and very fair priced. Not looking to take you to the cleaners but just good honest work for a fare fee. A super big heartfelt Thank you Ron and RonJr.
