I had a great experience with Green Drop Garage, specifically in working with Lane at the NW 20th location. He was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease during a stressful time. Had a bolt come lose on my brake caliper. After calling these guys, they were able to torque my brakes down to spec 30 minutes later and didn’t charge me anything. Amazing service, I will definitely be back here for future jobs!

Trustworthy, reliable and friendly - they helped me test a bad battery without trying to upsell me on anything. Everyone who works here has been an absolute angel and they always go above and beyond. (11/20/24) Update from another visit! They were able to get my oil change and light bulb replacement taken care of even though the booking system was on the fritz, thanks guys! 🖤

Winter change over. Four 17-inch studded snow tires. How much? Green Drop: "$220". To just switch them out? "Well, that's 4 mounting and balance." Les Schwab: "$96" Keeping in mind that, in Oregon, they have to come off again before April first... At least it was warm in there.

I called Green Drop with a possible battery / computer issue. By the time I arrived they were ready to intake my truck. They had the issue resolved within 1.5hrs. Staff was professional, courteous, and knowledgable. I'll be using Green Drop for all my vehicle maintenance moving forward.

This shop was amazing, it came very highly recommended. Skyler and Brooke both do amazing work. A shop I had previously taken my car too said I needed new calipers due to a leak, but these guys could not find said leak or anything wrong with brakes. Will be taking it to them again every time from now on.

I made a call to Green Drop Garage 90min before closing to see if they could get me in, pretty please, to remove a single nasty, shredded truck tire from a stock alloy wheel & mount a truck tire I already had. They estimated a $60 total for popping the old nasty tire off my wheel & mounting the new one, balancing, etc. I let them know I would be 4pm until I arrived, an hour til closing. It took perhaps 20mins total, despite a busy shop w/ no empty bays. The total was true to their $60 quote, & the job was perfect. All the staff I spoke to were polite, professional, and the overall atmosphere of this shop was clean & tidy despite inherently dirty work. So, I do believe I've found my new tire shop. There's literally no reason to bother going elsewhere, & I highly doubt anyone could provide better service. Thanks, gentlemen - you saved my bacon on short notice.

Nice guys for sure but they definitely over charge. Went in for an A/C service. Original quote for an A/C diagnostic and AC recharge was $391 !! I left my car with a bit of anxiety because that was a lot of money to start. My car was only in the shop for 45 minutes before they called me back saying it was the AC compressor control valve which is a 50$ part online. Their system wanted to charge 300$ for the part and 2.5 hours labor which was around 500$ so around 700-800$ to fix it. Which I refused bc I didn’t have the money. When I came to pick up the car I asked for a breakdown to see what they put in their pricing system. Because I refused further repair. They gave me a discount on the die which was cool and after a little bit of prying and negotiating of what the mechanics rate was they gave another discount and brought the total to 266$ which is also cool, but a huge difference from 391$ which I think seemed to bother him. But that could just be me. After I left I called a VW dealer to see what they charged for the same service which they said was 245$ … 245$ for the same service and diagnostic!? So, I’m happy I ended up paying around what the dealer would charge for the same service. Also with the recharged AC it seems to be working okay. But for any new customers call a dealer to see what they would cost before agreeing to their prices.

I have been a member with greendrop for almost two years now and have seen alot of changes happen with this location in that time. Through it all, this shop has always taken such good care of my vehicle and myself. I have walked away from greendrop multiple times feeling extremely grateful to have people who arent giving me a misogynistic runaround, and who know what they are talking about. They straight up just fix your car, charge you fairly for labor & parts and make sure you have everything you need before youre back on the road. I could not recommend them enough. If every shop was like this one, car ownership would be a much better experience overall.

I have been coming here since I moved to Portland 2 years ago. All the staff are super nice and professional. They never do any work on my car without asking and showing why the job is needed. Would def recommend this shop to others.

They don't listen and can't keep track of their own work. I've had lengthy conversations with them about a single car that they've worked on for years and they'll still forget why I brought the car in. I've been a customer for years. I let them know about this recent experience through their website feedback but they never bothered to follow up.

Cannot recommend Green Drop highly enough! I was driving by when Skyler from the garage flagged me down and told me my front passenger side tire was completely flat…my low tire pressure indicator had turned on just a few minutes before, so I had no idea how bad the situation actually was. He said I could drive right into the garage, where his team quickly removed the flat and popped on my spare. Skyler was able to order me a new tire for next-day delivery then and there; I dropped off my car the next day, and got it back just a few hours later with the new tire installed. While the service itself was excellent, it’s truly the personal care and consideration that Skyler and his team took to ensure I was taken care of that makes this whole experience stand out. I’d give them 10 stars if I could!

Really professional staff and repairs done early and as promised. Unlike other garage experiences, I didn't feel like I had to be on my guard. They took care of me and the car, and I would definitely recommend this shop.

Really kind people! I dropped by because my tire pressure signal suddenly came on, and they checked out my tires, refilled them, gave me great advice, and even offered me a soft drink, all for no charge. I was very grateful for the helping hand, and will definitely be coming back if I end up needing further tire help.
