As a contractor, I travel for work and have been a few places. I was in town for a job and had an injection pump go out on my truck and was referred to this place by a coworker. Let me tell you, this is the best damn mechanic shop I've ever been to. They truly treat you like family, give nothing but the best, and won't stop until you're happy with your vehicle. With the time I have left here, I will recommend everyone to this place. Thank yall for the honest and hard work.

I got a generalized quote from them. They are nice and friendly. Very knowledgeable and experienced. A family business. Very professional, but easy going. I was referred to them by Firestone. The work on my car has not been performed yet.

If it's messed up, they can figure it out. Every time I've been in there, they have tried to save me as much as they can on repairs. They have worked on two trucks...each needing extensive repairs. Even tire replacement. It's important to know which parts need to be factory, and which can be aftermarket. That way it's fixed.

Being talked down to when having my car repaired is not foreign to me, but the misogyny oozing from this place is unreal. To top it off the check engine light was on when I picked up my car (it was not on when I dropped it off, despite them insisting that it was) and when I asked why this was, they said it was because of something I asked them if they noticed AFTER they diagnosed the actual problem and that they said wasn’t necessary to fix because it wasn’t causing an issue because of it. Something completely unrelated to why I was taking my car in, and have never had an issue with the check engine light coming on for this reason. They just wanted to make sure I would come back to fix that for several hundred more dollars. I’m only writing this review because I’m now at a shop down the road having the “work” from grays auto fixed after paying $800 there last week. I think the boys were so ✨shocked✨ that a lil ol girl like me could drive stick because they couldn’t themselves. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else.

Recommended by a friend and all I will say is that I will gladly drive the 50 mile round trip whenever necessary to have Mr Gray work on my car - because he ensures that my 2006 Mazda can continue to make that trip without charging me hundreds of dollars more than most places would! He knows cars and he understands that people who are driving a 15 year old car aren't necessarily doing it because they hate that "new car smell"!!!

Highly recommend this family owned & operated businesses. We stopped into Gray Auto when our check engine light came on as we were traveling from Texas to Georgia. We gave them the code provided by the excellent folks at the nearby O'Reilly. The mechanics at Gray Auto checked out our Buick immediately. They were professional, efficient, & respectful. We were back on the road with confidence within 30 minutes.

Very friendly personnel , owner included. Was not sure if we had a problem or not. After inspection he said we were good to go with no repairs needed. Of course there was a fee for the service but well worth the piece of mind. Will be using them again in the future for service.
