Avoid This Shop—Unprofessional and Unsafe Practices! Summary of Experience If you're considering getting your car repaired here, RUN. I wouldn't trust this shop with a toy car, let alone my actual vehicle. My experience was riddled with poor communication, questionable business practices, and ultimately unsafe repairs. Detailed Review Initial Repair Issue: I had a hub assembly installed on the passenger side, but after picking up my car, it sounded worse than when I brought it in. When I raised this concern, the shop suggested replacing the other side, even though the lights and sensors weren’t showing issues initially. Trouble Ordering Parts: I prefer to buy my own parts due to past bad experiences. However, the shop seemed more interested in marking up part prices than fixing my car. For example, they quoted $200 for a part I sourced for $130 (and which cost $122 elsewhere). Storage Fee Dispute: The shop threatened a $150/day storage fee even though my car wasn’t fixed and they’re closed on weekends. This felt like an unnecessary pressure tactic. They also claimed to prioritize "regular customers," leaving me, a paying customer, feeling unvalued. Repair Quality and Additional Issues: After picking up my car, all the warning lights came on—brake, speedometer, power steering, seatbelt, and engine lights. The car sounded even worse, and I was told it needed a new rotor. The real issue? A bolt holding the hub assembly in place was broken during their repair! A mobile mechanic later discovered that this bolt was causing the grinding noise. Worse, it had completely fallen off and could have led to catastrophic failure if I’d kept driving. Customer Service: Throughout this ordeal, the owner showed little accountability or gratitude for the inconvenience caused. For instance, after the shop realized they had the wrong part, I had to go out of my way to return and repurchase my original part without any acknowledgment of their mistake. Outcome: My car is now undrivable due to the shop's negligence, and I’m relying on a certified mobile mechanic to fix their dangerous mistake. This experience not only cost me money but also risked my safety. Final Recommendation Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. Their lack of professionalism, questionable ethics, and unsafe repair practices are not worth the risk. People make mistakes and things happen just be honest. They broke the part the right thing to do would have been to replace it instead of putting my family life at risk.

I saw the reviews and was Leary I took my vehicle anyhow because the location was close to home. After checking my vehicle in the vibe was shade tree mechanic. After 2 weeks I finally got a call stating my vehicle had been diagnosed for $150 and I would be needing a 2nd diagnosis for $300..I DONT THINK SO!!! I paid the $150 and politely drove my vehicle to a more professional shop. Beware of the fake reviews, Gordon's is price gouging at its finest, and the experience was horrible I don't do reviews but I hate to see people get over. People you have been warned!!!! Gordon's is not the place to service ur vehicle. They're taking advantage of people in the hood. Again you have been warned

Never take your car to these people. You will get charged a high price and your car still will not be repaired, good customer service but you won't get what you pay for,which is your vehicle to be repaired,

After struggling to have a part replaced on my car, 2 backyard mechanics, strung me along for a week, Goodyear, wanted to know, “what’s in your wallet” Firestone, faked a diagnostic, but charged me, then proceeded to point out the wrong part, in order to squeeze me for more money. But Gordon’s, they were beautiful, from start to finish. They told me the cost up front, did a great job, in the right amount of time, and get this, the mechanic texted me to make sure everything was ok. I felt weird, being treated right. I’m a customer for life!!!

I was refered to this shop through Endurance warranty department. I needed work gone on my car, my check engine light was on therefore I'm unable to get my emission for my tag. I wa told the price for the repair & labor for the service. Total price was 806.49. More than I had but with great support and friends, my car has been repaired and passed the emission all for $35.00 and it took only 15 minutes.... Yes the staff was very polite & freindly but fair NO.....

Excellent. I was on the road when my car was overheating. So I googled a place to stop and found this excellent place. They were able to diagnose it right away, fix it right away and at a good price. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

First of please do not bring your car here before I dropped my car off I had overheating problems they changed my radiator but when my car return my check engine light was on and I never had that problem before they installed my radiator wrong and basically my car have more problems then it had before I went in November and I will say never again

Gordon automobile is not a good auto. My car sat there for 2 years and when I paid over $2000 for the service my car was in worse condition and every time I talk to Mr. Gordon nothing was getting done so I had to take legal action. Mr. Gordon is not truthful and doesn't keep his word and plus when you see a automobile service center with over 100 cars sitting outside. Please keep going because your car will make 101 sitting.

Gordons Automotive Services Center, is simply the best when it comes to customers service. I had mailed my tag two days prior to realizing I had not gotten my emission done. Trying to beat the system I hurried to Gordons to get an emission. But the emission area was closed for the day. Thank God he reopened it for me. Good customer service is had to find, but I did find it at Gordons. Thanks Gordons Automotive

I'm going to be beyond honest, the service here was beyond satisfactory. They were very knowledgeable, courteous and fair. I appreciate ALL the employees here. If your car can make it just go to a different mechanic. Trust. I'm saving you time and money. Dropped of vehicle on Thursday, was told they wouldn't get to it until Friday. Friday rolls around, no update so I call. Terry tells me the car will be looked at Monday. Monday rolls around, I have to call them. I was told the mechanic was off and wouldn't be able to look at it until Tuesday. I call Tuesday about 3pm and now I'm told the mechanic was sick and my car still hadn't been looked at but will be looked at first thing on Wednesday. Guess what happened on Wednesday? You guessed it, no call, no update, nothing. So I called them Wednesday and I'm told the same thing. At that point I just wanted my vehicle back. I call a tow truck to pick up the vehicle and then I'm told the car can't be released until I pay a diagonotic fee that I was never told about. Again, if you can avoid them, please do. don't waste your time

Marley is a great customer service representative. I have had no problems so far with the work done on my car. My one suggestion is that if you approve and pay for over $1,500 in repairs, the $133 diagnostic fee should be waived or at least reduced.

Very straight to the point, did not feel like they were beating around the bush in any circumstances. Told me what the price was before hand and charged me the exact same with no hidden fees afterwards just as discussed. Very honorable buisness. Highly recommend.

Very, very disappointed. Took my car in to see why it was going into low power mode . They supposedly did a diagnostic and said nothing was wrong smh. Picked up car has all kinds of codes about the brakes and stability etc and is now making a rattling noise. Brought it back only for him to tell me they only check for what YOU think is wrong smh saying it could bring up too many codes for them to check. Does that make sense to anyone? Not to mention the place is filthy and looks very unprofessional and they have rats! Initially I was skeptical about leaving my car there with no documentation. However, though the mechanics are friendly, it would be more helpful if they actual figured out what's wrong with you car. Waste of my money and time. Also beware they might try to overcharge you...if you don't ask what they are charging you for, it's just really sad. They use to be very good 15 to 20 years ago.

Would you believe Mr Gordon plays on poor people and doesn't keep his word ,he also over charge on basic things . Like he charged this old lady 85 dollars for a simple oil change wow bad business for the community
