Hit or miss with the people at the front desk; first time I went there they were knowledgeable and friendly and second time they acted like I was an inconvenience (despite having scheduled an appointment in advance). I recently got four Goodyear run flat tires and an alignment. As I mentioned, the first experience was good. They even sold me on a couple of their add-ons. However, immediately upon driving off I noticed the alignment was off. The wheel was a couple degrees left when the car drove straight on a flat road; if I let go of the wheel it would drift right. It was slight, but enough to be annoying. I went back to get that fixed about three months later. I’d been super busy at work and hadn’t driven the car that much. The alignment is warranted for six months or some mileage. When I got there they couldn’t find my reservation at first. When they finally did, the front desk person was heavily discouraging me from doing it that day; she said it would take till 5:00 and they closed at 5:30. (This was at 2:00.) I decided to go forward with it; I took an Uber all the way home to Foster City to hang out with the fam - and five minutes after I got home, they called to say the car was done!! So there wasn’t really a backlog; they just didn’t want to do it. When I got back, the guy at the front desk acted like something was off; he wouldn’t say there was anything wrong but that they adjusted it. I looked through a pile of papers under my invoice and found a page with the mechanic’s large writing “nothing was wrong with the alignment.” The front desk guy awkwardly just said he thought they’d made some small adjustment. And miraculously, even though there was absolutely nothing wrong with the alignment according to the tech, the problem disappeared! In the end I’m glad they fixed it. Maybe they didn’t want to admit the initial error. They were fine but I guess I can best sum up my experience by saying I’m in no hurry to go back.

I recently visited the this service center for an oil change, and I was told it would take 30 minutes to an hour. However, I ended up waiting for over 3 hours while they worked on cars that arrived after me. This experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I am planning to file a formal complaint with Goodyear’s corporate office to ensure they address this issue. I advise anyone visiting this location to be cautious about their time management and service priorities.

I went to this tire shop a few weeks back for a simple wheel wheel balance. The work itself was fine and it fixed my issue.However the customer service and timeliness of the appointment was poor. I made an appointment online and showed up at my appointment time. I was originally quoted 1.5 hours for the service which usually takes around 45 minutes. However, the man in front told me “some technicians take longer”. At this point there were like 2 other people waiting in the lounge. When I returned 1.5 hours later after dinking around the nearby area, they had not even started to work on my car. The man working the front desk was giving me some super shady reasons as to why they hadn’t started working on my car. And he said it would be another 20-30 minutes before their “best technician” who is “really good” could start on it. I was visibly irritated with this response and he was able to find someone else to do the service. Once that guy started he took about 45 minutes to do the wheel balance. And then by the time I was going to pay there was a huge crowd of people in the lounge and I had to wait another 20 minutes to pay. Overall, I waited 3 hours for my car to get a 45 minute service when I had a scheduled appointment. As I paid, I expressed my dissatisfaction with the dishonesty of the quoted wait time and I was very much dismissed by the person working the front. So just know that this shop does not honor appointments and you might as well double the wait time they give you because they are not straightforward about how busy they really are!!!! I get if they can’t control how busy they are based on walk ins, but at the very least they should be prioritizing appointments first and being honest about wait times so that customers can plan their time accordingly.

I have been coming here for the past 10 years with four vehicles and have had no problems Since the staff has changed all we have had is problems today was the last straw I will never use this Good Year again extremely rude and unprofessional

THANK YOU. Super friendly and kind Felicia helped me out this morning, frantic me with a car issue and me knowing zilch about cars. They were able to give me the codes needed to get me on my way. It's nice to know a local shop has such awesome staff- they definitely helped me out this morning and I'm ever grateful. Shop local!!!

Terrible service, uninformed employees will 100% pretend to do what they say (like call you back), 10/10 would not recommend – had the chance to have frustrating conversations where several employees said they would call and help with a warranty claim only to have to follow up multiple times over a two week period to start the process over. Unless you enjoy having the same conversation with the same person several times only to be told something different every time don’t get your tires done here. They'll call and leave you a voicemail and if you call them back within 10 mins they'll say that person called you earlier today there not here anymore. Called several times over a two week period just to start the process over again with Luba, first spoke to someone who didn't give their name, then with Kai twice before speaking to Luba. While Luba seems to know more than other two individuals and will boast working at goodyear for over six years she still doesn't know that the warranty department is closed on weekends and asked me to come in to get information to provide to the warranty when the warranty department is closed on weekends. Kai confirmed twice this week that she would do this, I called back to confirm after receiving her voicemail only to find that she hasn’t or cant do that for a new reason. Goodyear will also try to force you to buy roadside hazard for not only the tire they begrudgingly cover under warranty but also all other tires to make a quick buck don’t fall for this. They’ll also try to use select notes against you claiming that you said you were going to come in when in fact the whole note should say I would come in after confirming that the tire was ordered and they have contacted the warranty department. Long story short, typical corporate company which employees who pretend they’ll do stuff claim their experts only to waste your time.

Came in just now because after trying to put air into my tire myself at the gas station I must have let air out because my air pressure light came on. I stopped in and asked if they could check my tire pressure for me and the person helping was very accommodating and said they could check/ fill my tires free of charge. It was such a relief that after they were properly filled my tire pressure light went out. I’m happy they were there and had excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

Good quality place, specializing in tire service. Only thing I’d ask better of is getting the service itself. Took 3 weeks from my original service date and multiple phone calls to actually get my tires and get an appointment to replace them. Otherwise, the service was great

Take the time to communicate what you want clearly because they get busy here. There are workflows that aren’t designed to take the demand. I came for a lightbulb replacement on 6/17 because there were 2 people ahead of me only. I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to do a last minute headlamp replacement. I got there at 10:50 am and didn’t leave until 1:43 pm. For a Lightbulb Replacement!!! The lady at the front desk lied and said she had the part. Instead she had to order it and didn’t tell me when I could have come back. They lifted my vehicle and kept it up there which was a complete waste.

Fair enough maintenance shop for me. I drive from San Francisco to get my car aligned and oil changed. I purchased a 3 year alignment plan, so it’s been worth it for me. Not always the most reliable with appointment times, but you can count on dropping off your car in the AM and picking it up by the PM. They’re communicative and transparent. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been a kind soul. Check the website for deals and promos.

Staff treated me with respect which is hard to find at an auto shop when you're a woman and everyone assumes you know nothing about cars. Pricing is very reasonable.
