Made appointment online and when I went into the location I was told that the online system “isn’t accurate” and that it would be hours before they could see me. I was also told I should call in to make an appointment because it’s “more accurate”. How am I supposed to know that? Why even allow someone to make an appointment, at a specific time, online if it won’t be honored? No consideration from the front desk person either.

Helpful and friendly and cost effective. I needed a tire patched and they were wonderful. They helped remove junk tied up in my brakes and fix some small cosmetic damage to my car which was a huge relief. It was all done quickly and their customer service was amazing. Thank you very much.

Left a tire with them at 8:30 and was told they could put a patch in it, at 1:30 I was told it would be an hour and half before it was ready, at 4:30 it was done, not a big deal as I had other stuff to do. They roll it out and it was plugged, if I wanted it plugged i could have done that myself. I wanted it patched because I don't have a good way to take the tire off the rim. Very disappointing.

On our way to vacation and we had a tire blow on us. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, more professional and accommodating…if we ever need tires again and we’re passing through we would not hesitate to stop. If you live in the Columbia area make them your source for tires and service. We would if we did.

PRICE-GAUGING, RUDE and MISINFORMED STAFF Staff is misinformed and without matching their energies/attitudes, outright rude. BRIAN in particular…. first impression was him yelling at a co-worker for “interrupting the customer” - referencing me - when we weren’t even speaking at that time. He’s an extremely combative person, to the point where he was correcting the way I pronounced words, aggressively. About 40 minutes after dropping off my vehicle, Brian calls me 5-times consecutive (I was at my daughters DR appointment), and insisted that I either pay extra for a service I did not need or pick up my vehicle. I picked up my vehicle and took my business elsewhere, after disproving what he was attempting to up-charge me for. Next place I took my vehicle had no issues with the alignment that Goodyear insisted needed extra work to accomplish. Truly terrible experience. Was expecting much better from an established company like Goodyear, and was willing to pay the little bit extra they charge in comparison to their competitors, but instead received what are the largest cardinal sins when looking for vehicle maintenance

Rating a two stars for the reasons of they met expectations for replacing tires and performing an alignment. Subtracted points for a few reasons: -Due to recent expenses, I was a bit budget conscious. I chose some cheaper Cooper tires. Guy from Goodyear (assuming manager or supervisor) called to sell me on Goodyear assurances instead. He said he would give them for the same cost, I’d get a rebate, and he would try to let me use an additional $50 discount for signing up for text alerts. Unfortunately the woman who runs the register refused to try the $50 discount, informing me they gave me enough discounts already. She must have been confused- it was Goodyear who wanted me to but the assurances. I wanted the Coopers with the additional discount. I was doing them a favor because they didn’t want to order the Coopers. So for matters of customer service I deducted a few stars. Be careful when negotiating price with this location. Know how much you are paying up front and don’t let them talk you into decisions that only help them.

Thank you, Joy, for coming out to my car there in the parking lot! (I’m in a wheelchair and the passenger door was stuck on my chair/lift somehow!) But Joy helped with the fix! Really, could it get any better than that? Wow!!!

I love Goodyear! I've taken my car multiple places and Goodyear has always been the best! The workers are always so cool and nice! They are always fast and efficient. I'm a college girl and my knowledge with with cars isn't the best but they always tell me exactly what I need! 12/10 recommend!

I stopped into Goodyear on Forest Drive in Columbia, SC last Thursday and had a tremendous experience due to the exceptional customer service. I forgot to get the gentleman’s name who assisted me at the counter but he was knowledgeable and honest. I purchased two new tires 🛞 and I will be back for other service needs on my Subaru Forester. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Scheduled an appointment online. Had to wait 20 minutes to get service. Was told that they left a voicemail when they called me earlier which they never did. When I called them back they didn’t answer. Told me they wouldn’t be able to change my oil till 2 when my appointment is at 11:30 & said they had other appointments at the same time. But I scheduled my appointment in advance so I don’t understand.

The Staff at this location are very knowledgeable and strive to do the best work they are capable of doing. You can tell these guys LOVE what they do! I went in for an alignment and explained to them what I had replaced and I was pleasantly surprised when the tech actually listened and let me finish, didn't talk down to me but gave me a few tips on things to look for and so on. When they finished and I went for a ride, I noticed my (car) baby pulling to one side, brought it back, voiced my concerns, they were noted and my car was looked at again until the problem was solved. Since I work on my own car it's really hard to trust someone will treat your baby the way you do. Well I got the understanding that I needed to release whatever doubts I had coming in the door. Needless to say as long as that same crew is at this Location Goodyear on Forest Dr. in Columbia SC will definitely have my business and recommendation!!!!! Thank You very much Team Goodyear!!!!!!

Brian is the best!! I no longer go to any other place for my car because getting scammed is so easy! These people do not rip you off at all. Brian hooked me up with a great deal and made sure that my car was in its up to most perfect shape that I can drive safely - for a very very long time. The warranty is great, brian explained everything very perfectly to know I wasn't getting ripped off and everything was at a reasonable price. It's better to go to an actual auto service place knowing everything is accounted for seriously rather than going a bit cheaper to someone else and then having more issues in the long run. 1000 stars rating!! Also took exactly the time they estimated. Super fast and friendly people!

This Good Year most definitely saved me, I was on my way to Atlanta from VA and I caught a horrible flat & was unable to drive but I made it to this Good Year location on my run flat tires I got there and was greeted by Bryan who was very helpful upon my walk in I needed one new tire but I purchased two tires they were short on workers and explained to me it would take about three hours for them to service my vehicle however it didn’t take that long I was only there for about a hour and a half I just want to say I am grateful and appreciate all the staff they were very friendly and helpful & I would definitely recommend this location.

We needed air in our tires and the manager checked all 4 tires and 2 of our rental car tires were actually over-inflated! He let some air out and inflated our low tire. He was very helpful and funny. He would not accept a tip and did not charge us. Great service, sorry I didn't get his name. I assume he was the manager. Sounded like he was not a SC native, maybe Northern?

I do not recommend this Goodyear location. I scheduled an appointment over the phone about a week in advance. Show up for appointment and they didn’t even put it in the system. Also, after being told to write my new phone number largely at the top of their paper and cross out old one, they still called my old number and left a voicemail letting me know the car was ready for pickup. About 5 hours later I had to call them to verify that car was ready. Worst of all, I took the car in for 4 new tires and an alignment. I was told they couldn’t align my car because my tie rods needed to be replaced. The total would have came out to 1,200 and something dollars and they recommended this get done right away. After scheduling next appointment, I decided to take my car to the Lexus dealership for a 2nd opinion. Thankfully so because they said nothing needed replacing and they were able to align my car. My front brakes also needed replacing which apparently had gone unnoticed during the courtesy check at Goodyear. Again, absolutely do not recommend.
