While passing through Bakersfield on my way to the Bay Area I remembered that I had a notification every time I started the vehicle that said back brakes 7% front brake 70%. This morning it read 3%. I just happened upon Gonzalez Tires and even though it was later in the afternoon decided to check them. A couple of fellas came out to greet me very friendly. I told him I needed the back brake pads and you get a price they went and got the boss. (Fabian) came out took a look, checked for availability of the pads and quoted me a price I could not refuse! A couple minutes later they had the tires off I was wondering around inside when Fabian came in to show me the brake pads which were at like 95% So no breaks needed And to me That's an honest businessman. His crew slapped the two back tires back on and they sent me packing. That's a big thank you to Fabian and his crew answer the young lady inside that was more than friendly to me while I was waiting. I just have to come here and say how amazing they are. I went to another tire place and they had me waiting for an hr to then tell me I needed valves and when I said I was going to go get them he said he closed. Then I found the 15min b4 closing and they heard my story and did my wheel change without hesitation. I'm grateful, Thank you guys again. May God bless all of you.

I've been coming here For 10 years if. These guys can't fix it nobody can.Very reliable very Very trustworthy and very on the ball.Everybody has a bad day And should not fly off the handle for something that goes wrong there are tire places take you for a ride Gonzalez Tires is the way to roll.

BEWARE Replaced my tires with different ratings which caused my tire pressure monitor to go off and refuses to fix. They want to charge me again to replace the tire they gave me that was wrong. Bunch of crooks.

Did not let me know that I needed to match ratings of tires when I got them. Now my car is having a brake light come on. Why wouldnt they MATCH THE RATINGS on tires? Bunch of morons

bought a used 225 45 18 tire for suuperrr cheap mounted and balanced for 45 bucks. when i got home i noticed that it had a bubble on the sidewall so i went back and no questions they said they’d replace it and sent me on my way within 10 mins. idk how they didn’t see the bubble when putting the wheel back on but they fixed their mistake so maybe check your tires before driving off lol

Honest, friendly, and extremely fairly priced. I came here after my van had a rough journey from Oregon, nothing "felt" distinctly off alignment-wise but it had been about a year and I was getting a bit paranoid about doing my cross country drive without an alignment. The price was the best out of the 5 places I called. In addition, they double triple checked that my van could be serviced there, and answered some questions about the service. When I arrived, I was greeted by multiple friendly people, given an estimate, and the alignment tech took my van for a test drive. He came back and told me it was fine to drive cross country as-is; the alignment was fine but he suggested a mechanical repair to my steering components at the end of my trip and before next alignment. Again, he answered all of my questions and emphasized that I should be absolutely fine for another few months of driving, even long distance. This kind of honesty is so deeply appreciated, as I'm a disabled person living on extremely meager funds while also trying to keep my van-home in roadworthy condition. They replaced a lost valve cover on one of my tires, checked those too, told me I was good to go for my trip and gave me so much peace of mind. And the inspection was free. Most shops would just do the alignment and charge me anyways! I can't speak highly enough of this business and the folks who work there.

I went to purchase a new set of tires which they were good and prices good too. The owner is awesome, But they striped 2 studs on my front passenger side. And didn’t told me. Why they stripped it ,,?? because they running all the time. They want to finish fast which I understand, but take a few more minutes and get it done accordingly, but now is gonna cost me a few hundred dollars to fix it.. 😒 hopefully and maybe they can see this post and make it right..

Woke up today to a flat on my vehicle. I unmounted the tire and took it to this place since it was open on Easter Sunday. Drove up parked, and right away, I was approached by an employee. He unloaded the tire from my vehicle and got to work right away. While waiting, another gentleman approached me and asked if I had been helped. A few minutes later, another gentleman came up and asked the same question. Not even 10 minutes being here and 3 different employees were trying to help me out! Great customer service. 20 minutes total, and I was in and out of the shop. Definitely recommend this shop to get your flat tire fixed. Reasonable price and not to mention they were open early Easter Sunday. Check them out! You won't be disappointed.
