I called to get a quote for an alternator for my car and was told it would cost $897. On top of that, they don’t allow customers to bring in their own parts. The greed is unreal—$897 for an alternator? I couldn’t believe it!

Went in for an oil change. Took well over a hour on a slow tuesday afternooon. (I called ahead, to set up a time) They spent more time trying to find an issue with my car than do the job and let me be on my way. There is a reason why take five exists, it doesnt take 2 hours to change someones oil. The reason I didnt rate them low is because I realize that some people want that and arent impatient. They want some car guy to show you issues that are happening so you might fix them before they become an issue. I just prefer to go somewhere and have them do what I ask, and not try to get more money out of me. I would find a way to change my oil myself, than ever go here again, but I wont give them a bad review.

I tried Gibbon Tires and Auto after a relative went to the for repairs. They have a thorough car inspection process. However, their prices are intirely too step. I needed by front care rotors replaced. I googled the average price for the cost. The cost is around $150 to $300 depend where you live. Gibbon told me the cost to replace just the front rotors would be $1200. I declined and they offered to knock off $100 dollars. I declined this small reduction and was able to find and fair and affordable mechanic.
